Silva, mane, walcott, cazorla. Obviously got another game to scout the last 3 but struggling to secide which of these guys to bring in this gw.
I have them tentatively ranked thusly

Thoughts?-
Mane is a great pick Champy, was on a great run before he departed to AFCON. Plus him covering Gw27 great with (wba), could be great shout. (SWA, qpr, WHU, LIV, wba, CRY) great goal scoring potential there for sure mate
Silva is solid and a great pick for this kind run. Nevertheless it will be interesting to see what formation Pele goes with when Bony's back. Silva could go back to be being marginalized on the wing again (as always) and go back to his odd assist pattern. Definitely something to keep an eye on, I wouldn't hang my boots on him long term or 'til the end of the season fwiw. Good option still, can't argue with the form.
Walcott for assessment tomorrow, no real hypothesis there for me. Could be golden on the right again and hopefully this GW raises the stakes for him a bit. Could do with a little confidence boost before the NLD
Cazorla is the man of the hour imo, has been delivering week in and week out since he's been in the hole in December. Wenger has said he won't mess with his positioning as to not disrupt his form of current, so going off that and from his potential plus penalties in the bag, I think he's one of the standout midfield options. Goes without saying that his stats are monstrous, these last few games especially and since the beginning December. I'd argue against him being a good option when he's slotted out to the wings IMO-

The problem that I'm experiencing with my midfielders myself is that is Sanchez gets injured, apart from Hazard I have no clue about who to pick. Here are the reasons why:
Silva (might not be effective with Bony back in a 4 4 2)
Walcott/Ramsey (depends what I see today)
Tadic/Mane/Elia (not quite sure who is nailed on)
Sterling (Good form but poor fixtures, I might be gettng Studge anyways)
ADM (out of form) -
Yeah the midfield is a nightmare eh. I think Mane will be a good pick soon. Praying that Walcott does the business too.

Is it still all about the 3-4-3?
I'm on my WC and for the first time this season I'm quite tempted with a 3-5-2 setup.
Aguero and Kane are locked up front and there's nobody else in the mid-expensy range that jumps out, other than maybe Giroud (donk) and Sturridge (tough fixtures and just back from injury). Plus I think the 5m options up front are waaaay better back up than the likes of Boyd.
Looking at something like:
Sanchez, Haz, ADM, Silva, Wally/Sterling
Aguero, Kane, Gayle
Thoughts?-

I was thinking along similar lines but with that Spanish lad at Newcastle as third striker. Every time I've seen him play I've been really impressed - great movement, very composed finishing and runs around like a madman for 90 minutes. Not bad at all considering he's only 19 or something.

This needs to be said. Brendan rodgers. Thankyou and kudos. He's are a top top manager and i hope he's with us for years to come.
Like another top top manager, arsene wenger, people love to slate him. At the start of this season i said 4th would be the aim and could be tricky to acheive. Some deluded fans swore we'd challenge again but you don't sell the best player in the league and change half your team without having a settling period. A couple months ago all the haters were saying suarez carried him and now he's getting found out.
Well now we've adapted to a new formation, we are consistently dominating teams, even top teams, offensively and defensively. Coutinho, sterling, hendo, sakho just get better and better. Markovic and even Ibe are showing signs they will follow suit. Lucas is once again looking like one of the best dm's in the league. Lallana and moreno have great quality. Even mignolet seems to have emerged from a horrid period and is now playing with confidence after some great man management.
All that's missing is cutting edge up front. Br didn't want balotelli. The club did. Much like falcao and lvg. I've been screaming inside for bony for the/past year. That ship's sailed. Can't wait to see sturridhe, sterling and coutinho linking up regularly.-
No Gerrard makes such a big difference. Glad Rodgers is seeing it now 🙂

So is it worth getting Coata back in for Burnley (GW26) at home, prior to blank GW27.
Bearing in mind he is two YC's away from a 2 game ban. If he gets them vs Spurs (final) and Burnley (GW26) then it's another three blank GW' (27-29).
