Despite getting bludgeoned without Kane since selling him on my WC I'm feeling a bit smug after saving a FT for the first time ever. Can now do Falcao>Costa for the ultimate one week punt without a moment's hesitation.

So I brought in Giroud who I thought was the safest option. That was a mistake but that was my thinking. I had a free transfer in hand so I could have done it if I had wanted

The problem (for me) with Arsenal. Is they have to many great midfielders and I think they often don't make the most of them. Now many of them are fit they kind of hinder each other

I'm only messing really. Logic does work over time imo, a bit like playing holder in that if you make enough of the right calls you'll win more hands than you lose but you will also get some bad beats at times against the odds.

Ordinarily that would have been the plan.
I had can then played wc and brought Walcott in as Sanchez was injured and I thought it might give him a chance to shine (didn't have Sanchez when I played wc). Had no intention of getting Sanchez as i don't fancy him playing wide and had intended on shipping wally for eriksen for the double.
Seeing the lineups and knowing how well he scored when playing up top through the middle earlier in the season I felt I had to cover his capt potential. I'd do the same thing now with the same info in front of me so not overly disappointed.

I can't think that is worth it at this point ahead of the DGW. If Chelsea don't have theirs in GW28 then you may be able to get away with such a move, but I'd probably rather just stick with JWP and hope he features in 27. If not, he could always nick an assist in 30 minutes of play if you're lucky.

Yeah more dependent on your side and how the planning needs to take shape. It may well be worth it to get a nailed midfielder in his place, it's difficult to say right now. Especially without the knowledge of when Chelsea's DGW is.
