A lot of changes since Moyes took over until now...And no they haven't been lucky they deserve to be where they are but I don't think it has much to do with LVG's crackpot ideas and formations...more to do with the fact that they have some very good players ignoring him. Just watch them play and try to spot any formation that LVG "thinks" they are playing..it just isn't there...They are very fluid (good) and work it out themselves.
Are you suggesting that LVG is a manager who wants a strict formation? I'm not sure you can draw that conclusion. He has a philosophy that probably requires a more fluid style.
