With Chelsea and Tottenham out of contention this week, Fantasy managers are eyeing up the premium price bracket for potential replacements in the centre of the park. Whilst Spurs’ double Gameweek 28 will surely persuade Christian Eriksen owners to hold, the Blues’ pair Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas have been subject to significant transfers out this week after struggling to pick up the points in recent matches.

Fabregas, in particular, has afforded his 33% of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) owners cause for concern after serving up just two assists since the turn of the year. Hazard’s single strike and two assists in six has been boosted by nine bonus points, but with the Belgian’s goal threat very much on the slide, there are a number of options available for those looking to freshen up their five-man midfields.

In our second members article of the week, we cast an eye over four pricey midfielders – David Silva, Mesut Ozil, Raheem Sterling and Angel Di Maria – whose recent form is very much on the rise. The quartet have all delivered returns in three of their last four league appearances and are starting to find consistency as the battle for our Fantasy attention heats up.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

I have Sanchez, Cazorla and Walcott.

Obviously need to sell one, thinking Walcott.

    Any objections?

He would likely become either Silva or Di Maria (hopefully boosted by the injury to RVP and pushing Rooney up top).

people talk such utter boll0cks about what a game like this means for the premiership and other such nonsense. when anyone watching must realise, on another day arsenal could easily be winning this given the chances. would that mean the premiership is in rude health?

asrenal are a better team than monaco, just haven't delivered tonight. that's the nature of football sometimes

means they're the joint 9th best performing team in Europe year after year. that's incredibly good going. people should try supporting a proper sh1t club

They are called a "great footballing side" without winning anything these days.

So maybe they are not a "great footballing side" after all?

And maybe just maybe you are one of those who has bought the media bullshit hook line and sinker.

my comment was more directed at how people demean the premiership based on a result like this, which could easily have gone either way. we all know about arsenal's soft underbelly, but there's no denying they're a great side to watch when on form.
