With Chelsea and Tottenham out of contention this week, Fantasy managers are eyeing up the premium price bracket for potential replacements in the centre of the park. Whilst Spurs’ double Gameweek 28 will surely persuade Christian Eriksen owners to hold, the Blues’ pair Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas have been subject to significant transfers out this week after struggling to pick up the points in recent matches.

Fabregas, in particular, has afforded his 33% of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) owners cause for concern after serving up just two assists since the turn of the year. Hazard’s single strike and two assists in six has been boosted by nine bonus points, but with the Belgian’s goal threat very much on the slide, there are a number of options available for those looking to freshen up their five-man midfields.

In our second members article of the week, we cast an eye over four pricey midfielders – David Silva, Mesut Ozil, Raheem Sterling and Angel Di Maria – whose recent form is very much on the rise. The quartet have all delivered returns in three of their last four league appearances and are starting to find consistency as the battle for our Fantasy attention heats up.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Been hovering around the 30k mark for the last 10GW's so thinking of trying something different to hopefully make some movement over the last part of the season. This entails switching to a 4-4-2, as follows:

    Panti
    Terry, Ivanovic, Bertrand, Clyne
    Hazard, Sanchez, Silva, Cazorla
    Aguero, Kane

    Subs: Hamer, Ings, Boyd, Bruce

    Thoughts?

Form is strong. Sterling, Coutinho, Sakho are options, along with Sturridge when he's back up to speed. Fixtures look ok to me, especially in attack. Their defence is performing well regardless of opposition lately too.

your doing well for a wooden spoon. I would say always try and play 3 good forwards upfront over 5 mids. simply more points and captain options.

The idea is good but I'd change some personnel.

      Krul for Hamer.
      Naughton for Bruce.
Naismith for Ings. Naismith is a perfect 1st sub for a 4-4-2 team at the right price.
      Eriksen or Sterling for Cazorla.

That should be around the same price and you're good to go then.

Ruth, what are your thoughts on Sakho as opposed to Naismith? With Carroll likely out could be a decent option if playing as the lone forward and only 2.5% ownership so a good differential. Also scored 6 goals and an assist between GW 5 and 9 so is proven when in form.

How's my team looking for this week?

    Panti
    Wisdom Hutton Fonte Bellerin (Terry)
    Mane Silva Cazorla Ozil (Hazard)
    Aguero Ings (Kane)

Next week i'll probably do Ings --> Austin Caz/Ozil --> Eriksen

      3 Arsenal?! Just terrible.

Sorry, got carried away reading the reactionary crap here. Looks solid, as do the moves next week, even though I'm not convinced by Austin's prudential next week.

buddy I asked a simple question and you and a few others went out of your way to do wrong by me. it is what it is even if you want to be nonsensical and call me a crybaby.

the only way you can possibly say that's on me is that I was naive to think any better of an internet forum that I supposedly thought was a community.

it's fine, I'm over it, I enjoyed the matches just the same.

                  let's move on.

It's nasty when their eyes are crusted shut in the morning. You've probably been told this loads but just in case you haven't, luke warm water and cotton ball and wipe out to in. Use separate cotton balls for each eye. It should clear up in a week.

Thanks, very good advice. He's just turned 1 so can't be reasoned with. Bath 4 times a day, water loosens the crust, especially first thing in the morning. 2 person job to pin him down and hold his eyes open for the eye cream. He tries to crawl away when he sees the packet.

About 5 days in, it's a lot better now.

Yep, been there. They're so bloody resilient that he'll have bounced back and forgotten all about it in a couple of weeks.

Take it in turns playing good cop/bad cop with the eye cream!

I'm bad cop as my hand eye coordination is, let's say, great in comparison with mum. He doesn't hold a grudge. Best behaved baby I've ever encountered, we're very lucky.
