Jack Wilshere is sidelined for the Gunners after undergoing minor ankle surgery. Carlton Cole is out of the Hammers’ home clash with Crystal Palace, who are without a trio of forwards through injury. Daryl Janmaat has been passed fit for Newcastle. Toby Alderweireld remains unavailable with a hamstring problem, Alan Hutton and Aly Cissokho are doubts for Villa, whilst West Brom are sweating over the fitness of Saido Berahino and James Morrison.

In his Friday morning press conference, Arsene Wenger has revealed that Jack Wilshere will be sidelined for a few days after undergoing minor ankle surgery. Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini will return to training tomorrow but Sunday’s clash with Everton will come too soon for the duo. Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Debuchy are still “a few weeks away” from returning.

Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Carlton Cole is out of the weekend meeting with Palace, after the forward limped out of the Spurs clash with a hamstring injury. Allardyce has also confirmed that new signing Nene is likely to be amongst the substitutes this weekend.

Crystal Palace face a striker shortage ahead of their meeting with the Hammers, after Alan Pardew confirmed that Frazier Campbell, Marouane Chamakh and Yaya Sanogo will all miss out with injury. In more positive news, midfielder James McArthur has been passed fit after missing last week with a thigh problem.

Newcastle boss John Carver will have Daryl Janmaat available for the visit of Aston Villa, after the right-back was passed fit having overcome a groin problem. Meanwhile, Remy Cabella remains sidelined with a knee injury. Midfielder Cheick Tiote has also been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery.

Toby Alderweireld remains sidelined for the trip to the Hawthorns, confirms Ronald Koeman, who believes the Belgian could return to action against Palace in midweek. Aside from Jay Rodriguez and Emmanuel Mayuka, Koeman has no other absentees for the Baggies clash.

West Brom are sweating over the fitness of James Morrison against the Saints, with the midfielder picking up a hamstring niggle during the week. Saido Berahino is also a concern and will be closely monitored after suffering a knock in the stalemate with Sunderland last week. Tony Pulis also suggests that Victor Anichebe could possibly return from a groin injury this week after rejoining training.

Tim Sherwood faces a full-back crisis ahead of the trip to St James’s Park after confirming that Alan Hutton and Aly Cissokho are both doubtful to face the Magpies, with Hutton rated as “touch and go”. Kieran Richardson has also been ruled out through injury, while Swiss defender Philippe Senderos is also unlikely to feature.

Black Cats boss Gus Poyet will again be without Jack Rodwell and Billy Jones through injury, with neither being risked for the weekend. The pair however, could be fit to return for the Hull game in midweek.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

    @ Demi

Stoke plays 4-2-3-1, Diouf leading, Walters right (although they exchange in a few games) and Ireland in the hole.

Is all of this really that important? It's more a guide of who is likely to start and the rough formation. Most players are flexible enough to change during 90 minutes, I don't think multiple posts highlighting small details is doing anything besides clogging up room, especially when you then have to start correcting between interior left and interior right etc.

I think Demi does an excellent work.
I'm just highlighting some small errors.

For ex, Chelsea, City, Arsenal, United, Liverpool, Tott, line-ups are always 100% correct.
        Why shouldn't be the others?

I think if you are bona do it, do it properly.

Maybe, I just think they are too irrelevant to mention. No-one will pick Meyler if he is interior left, interior right, back a little bit etc. The bigger teams have much more FPL importance and much more forum attention.

I agree that the team lineups are usually an excellent job, and give a great guideline to who will more than likely play...

However, they are not 100% correct like you state, (Welbeck started last game for Arsenal - Wasn't on the lineup sheet)

There's a quote from his press conference on the previous page. Personally I think giroud will be given a chance to redeem himself. I think it'll be welbeck on the bench. Ozil or Cazorla could possibly miss out too. Unless he goes with the following:

                Coquelin Cazorla
                Walcott Ozil Sanchez

    RMWCT if you please:

Lloris (Heaton) (may do Foster tho for extra .1m)
    Bertrand Dawson Reveillere Wolly (Naughton)
Mane Moses Sanchez Di Maria (Haz)

Leaves me enough to do Sakho to Austin next week and possibly Di Maria to Eriksen depending.

AdM is overpriced Somalion, he'll tick over with a few assists but it won't be worth nearly 10m

Nobody really worth it at the moment tbh, I'm not really concerned about the money because if a better option comes along I'll swap him out. I agree he is overpriced.

Well I'd keep Wally this week 100%, he's looking likely to start according to Wenger I think, so next week it sounds like an easy swap for Eriksen?

Aye, just reading that now. Will have to see how today goes!

As for Eriksen, I will have to see. Nothing against him of course but his form can be patchy, will need to mull that over as he is the type of player who will do extremely well or fail completely. Appreciate the help 🙂

Haha yep, that's Eriksen alright, complete flop or absolute gold.
I think it is worth a mention that he's the 3rd highest scoring mid this year though, AdM won't explode either (although he might tick over with points a bit more consistently).

I just think AdM suffers from not having a great striker in front of him at the moment, something United will surely fix over the summer 🙂 Eriksen has Super Kane in front of him though 😉

I'm absolutely not going to disagree with any of that, you're entirely right and Eriksen reminds me a bit of Hazard (at least previous seasons, he has been getting more consistent). As for ADM, that is what I am thinking as well which is actually why I considered a punt on him. RVP and Wilson could be out of the game, possibly meaning Rooney and Falcao play up top which I would much prefer.

    Forster (Hamer)
    Clyne, Dawson, Vergini, Hutton (Terry)
Sanchez, Di Maria, Cazorla, Boyd (Hazard)
    Aguero, Giroud (Kane)

    1FT, 0.3

    1) Get Hutton out (for Wolly or McShane)

    2) Field 10 this week but have 2FT for DGW

    @ Demi

West Ham plays generally a mixed of 4-4-2 (diamond) or a 4-3-3, but with Song, Noble and Kouyate, never a 4-3-3.
Against Spurs, they played a disguise 4-4-2 with Downing on the right and Kouyate interior left. Noble with freedom down the middle.

Form has to take into account a good number of games.

      Last 5:

      Aguero = 31 points
      Sanchez = 29 points

Of course Aguero scored in Europe and Sanchez didn't....

Only if you want to take it back 6 weeks and pre-injury which is really not very relevant.

Potentially yeah, I just think Sanchez has a big score around the corner.

He's never blanked more than 2 games in a row until this point. Given how good he is I have confidence he'll start scoring soon
