For gw 33 and 34 following thoughts

Teams not playing 33 are arsenal qpr aston villa and sunderland.
Playing twice 34 are chelsea and leicester

At moment i have 2 arsenal players only missing 33. Suppose i should avoid getting any aston villa players in before that.

Have terry ivan and haz for 34. Any leicester players wort getting in?

I'd save tbh, can't do much with that FT that will realistically improve your team for this week. Would rather save and look to upgrade either your backline or your attack next week, downgrading Downing to Cork would definitely be my enabler next week though

Yes, Ki to their midfield 😯
Boyd works as well if you prefer his attacking potential, keep in mind he has a pretty rough set of fixtures until Gw34 (LEI), he then has it pretty easy to close of the season. If you can afford to get him with no problems, then I guess I would get him instead of Cork

I want to talk to all the people (and there must be several) who had some version of this experience today:

    1. You had Foster as your WBA defender;
    2. You had PVA and had just done a jig because he started; and
    3. You put the armband on Sanchez to be clever.

Now tell me the truth: once PVA was at 0, Foster had been injured on 56, and Sanchez was taken off on 65, you were ready to just quit, right? I mean, it was just too damn much, am I right? I was so down I had to start drinking (OK, it's true, I was already drinking, but still).

So how do you feel now? I mean, how weird did it feel once Aguero had blanked? I had this strange feeling of elation, even though my whole day added up to 18 points. I can't remember feeling anything like this mixture of despondency and relief/exultation since . . . since . . . I guess since the day after I was married . .

With Chelsea running away with the league ..

What would be your ideal XI and 4 subs ( FPL sytle) of players that are made up from the other 19 teams that would be capable of beating Chelsea to the title ? Mine :
    DDG
    Clyne Koscielny Fonte Betrand
    Schneiderlin Yaya
    Silva Sanchez
    Kane Aguero
    (Lloris Austin Henderson Sakho)

      DDG

Personally I've enjoyed some nice points from Mee and most recently Clark - it's the budget differential defenders I like most.

Was going to ask if my 2 left-field transfers were too risky, but then they'd be poo-pood with much derision.
Both would score heavily, shooting me up the rankings but I didn't so instead I'd have come on here blaming everyone for my misfortune.

Its a shame that people are so adamantly against positive FPL play, doing something different and somewhat against the grain. Some people just love the comfortable box they put themselves in and and shun any idea which is different. This is unfortunate, I like to think people could be a little more open minded.

I think giving someone advice and making a decision on my own team are two different things . I have owned Falcao , Walcott and Benteke at different points but I would not advise people to make such risky decisions . Does that make sense ?

For sure. The only thing I am against is people being openly hostile towards interesting ideas which are somewhat against the grain. None of us know what will happen in the future and for that reason we need to be open minded. Now obviously there needs to be some well founded logic to suggesting something a little different, and I think if you have that, then all power to you.

    Sturridge Interview:

"He bristles slightly when he is asked if he's an admirer (of Harry Kane). 'Why would I watch someone else's glories and achievements? It doesn't matter to me who comes around. It means nothing to me. I am not watching what he is doing. I just believe in me.'"

And that's the kind of team player Sturridge is. Self-obsessed, a Flash Harry and a physical coward to boot. Not interested in a likely England teammate. Only interested in himself.

And without Suarez to hide behind he's not even that good. Kane is already twice the player Sturridge will ever be.

Is this a quiz? Did you mean to add: "discuss"?

No. It's a statement. But feel free to discuss it.

Cresswell always has attacking potential, and Downing could get back to his mid-season form, but not sure why they should be the flavour just now.

Choose the best possible front 7.

As much as I want Giroud, I can't seem to find a place for him because I can't get to ditch any one out of - Hazard / Silva / Sterling / Eriksen / Cazorla / Aguero / Kane.

      Ditch Cazorla or Sterling

Get rid of Sterling? Next two are tough fixtures. Might be out of position.
