Gameweek 32’s inaugural fixture sees Swansea City welcome Everton to the Liberty Stadium in the lunchtime kick-off. Both sides boast good form leading up to this encounter, with the Swans earning victories in the previous two Gameweeks, while the Toffees are in the midst of a three-match wining streak.

All eyes will be on Bafetimbi Gomis in the wake of his brace against Hull City last time out. The ex-Lyon frontman has struggled to fill the void created by Wilfried Bony’s departure to Manchester City, yet four goals for Gomis in as many starts suggests he’ll be a key player for the Welsh outfit throughout their agreeable run-in. Elsewhere in the Swansea camp, Ki Sung-Yeung continues to impress with his goalscoring prowess – having netted four goals in the past eight Gameweeks – while Gylfi Sigurdsson has delivered attacking returns in two of his last four outings.

Garry Monk is forced into one change to the side that saw off ten-man Hull City last time out – Angel Rangel comes in at right-back with Kyle Naughton forced to miss the remainder of the season with an ankle injury.

Everton’s upturn in form has renewed Fantasy interest in the likes of right-back Seamus Coleman, who bagged a goal and an assist in their Gameweek 30 visit to Loftus Road. The Irish international has benefited from Everton’s much-improved defensive resolve in recent weeks, with Roberto Martinez’s men conceding a solitary goal in their last three league clashes. Today’s teamsheet finds Everton unchanged, as Romelu Lukaku misses out once again: Arouna Kone leads the attack with Ross Barkley up in support.

      one main difference...Hazard is good

    2. The Nuttmxn
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member
      11 years, 6 months ago

Except Hazard is a goal threat, better vision, better at set pieces and penalties, more effective defensive work rate rather than looking like a headless chicken and keeps the ball closer to feet causing opponents to foul him.

Other than these differences they are the same kind of player.

Sky pundits giving out about Krul congratulating Defoe on his goal.

I disagree entirely, I know it was a derby but I thought it was sporting.

      1. Les Bleus

          11 years, 6 months ago

If they take any offence then they are complete morons. It's not like he deliberately let it in or anything.

          1. Somalion
            11 years, 6 months ago

Exactly, just because it is a rivalry doesn't mean they're enemies, that seems to be confused far too often.

      2. Somalion
        11 years, 6 months ago

I agree, it wasn't excessive or anything like that just an acknowledgement.

Simple respect for your fellow players isn't too much to ask, is it?

          1. Somalion
            11 years, 6 months ago

Exactly. Agree with both of you, it is a profession but I think they still have to foster the "game" side of it.

    3. Long Juan Silva
      11 years, 6 months ago

Agree. Jamie Carragher made an absolute fool of himself making a big deal about nothing. Most footballers don't know the meaning of the word sportsmanship, and then when one shows some he gets destroyed by a pundit. It's ridiculous!

      1. Somalion
        11 years, 6 months ago

Entirely this. Phil Thompson was spotting acid over it on Soccer Saturday just a moment ago, I don't see the big issue at all.

    4. Billy Gilmore
      11 years, 6 months ago

Yeah, I suppose it depends if you're a fan of a team or a fan of the sport first and foremost.

      1. Somalion
        11 years, 6 months ago

That's a fair point, certainly the sport comes first for me.

        1. Billy Gilmore

Me too. I can't see how it cannot tbh.

          1. Somalion
            11 years, 6 months ago

Aye, some strange folks out there. In fact, a number of pundits I think are more about the clubs they were attached to than the sport itself.
