Three middle-aged beards collide to talk Fantasy Football. Hipsters? Sadly, as Jonty so rightly points out, we bear a closer resemblance to a trio of David Brents.

A clean-shaven Ryan joins us to complete the quartet and boost the credibility: the Kiwi contributor wakes fresh and ready for action to mull over the Gameweek gone, the week’s transfer bandwagons and to look forward to the weekend’s action.

Around those regulars, we brace ourselves for the latest bout of quizzing from you, the community. We tackle the potential of the Palace form guys and the unlikely contribution from Hull and Leicester, as we cast an early eye on the looming double Gameweek.

The ScoutCast was beamed out live on Wednesday via a Google Hangout and you can view the full video recording on the player below.

Alternatively, for the polished, low-fat audio version can be found via this link or the first player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

😯 This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.

Your squad is quite strong, only Sturridge letting you down. I think he'll return and you'll be back to lead the side.

I don't see much threat coming from the stoke side of town, IMO. Both Stoke and Newcastle pose a mediocre attack, have abysmal stats with only 3 big chances in the last four, and Stoke without their best creative outlet in Moses. So, in tandem they face similar opposition.

Going off that logic, I'd trust a Saints defense 10x over a lackluster Spurs defense w/o Lloris. Even if Saints are away IMO.

          It's a 50/50 call if you go off H/a

Would just do Sanchez and Giroud out, IMO.
Would play Morgan, Ivan, and Bert and it's a backline that'll suffice for the week. So no need for a defensive trannie here to be honest.

Got Panti in goal, worth taking a one week punt on a keeper and then trading him to Mig next week (likely for a hit)? Or just bring in Schmeichel and stick fat?

I think benching him will be bad management. You don't want to destroy a player like that.

Well, he did bench him when he was late to the LIV game…
We could say that was his first, now with the second might be different...

Yeah but I can understand that, you have to turn up on time if you expect to start. I just feel that speaking out against one of your own players so publicly is quite a big deal. To bench him would emphasis it even more and suddenly the papers will start talking about rifts and all sorts.

Oh for sure, if you can do that, it'd be ideal.
Just know that with Ibe back, and his ability to play RWb, it's good for Sterling.
Plus the possibility of a 433, is great for Sterling. There's probably more upside for Sterling in theory, would ideally get both though IMO Zan.

      Going a -4. Will mean-

      Hazard Fabregas Ivan
      Huth
      Mingolet Sterling

Only other i would really want is Henderson. For a minus 8, its too much. Its not only the points he will gain but think about the points the player you drop will score too.

Evening. Does anyone have a sense of which of the three Leicester forwards is most secure? Looking at minutes played over the past few weeks it seems that Ulloa doesn't play as many minutes as Vardy or any gent. Is that accurate?

I just went with vardy on the basis that he is currently on good form and therefore as well as bringing attacking potential he will hopefully hold his place for the 3 matches I need him

From a Vardy owner the answer is... Vardy. Secure.

Hello DZ. Some thoughts on the options below? 1 week punt, WCing in 34.

    A) Naughton > Baines, play 4-3-3
    B) Sanchez > Silva, play 3-4-3

DEF and MID at the moment

    Myhill
    Dawson Clyne Ivanovic
    Mane Eriksen Hazard

That's a tricky one. Both could be good but I think I'd go for Silva - Burnley are still fighting whereas West Ham seem to have given up for the season. City have plenty to prove and need to win to get that automatic CL spot.

    1FT 0.0 ITB no WC

    Heaton (Panti)
    Terry Wollschied Bertrand (Moreno Hutton)
Hazard (vc) Eriksen Mane Boyd (Sanchez)
    Aguero (c) Kane Remy*

    A) Good 2 Go and save FT for DGW

    B) Use FT incase Remy is unavailable....any suggestions welcome?

    C. Dann

    1. President John F. Keninnsie

Gotta be one of the Everton boys I guess. Dann is a great shout this week but I'd say Everton are more likely for the cleanie.

You're probably right. BUR haven't scored in the last 3. Leaning towards Coleman actually.

      A. I'm fairly confident Baines is still on pens. You can't miss one penalty from 17 (or so?) and lose the duties to Rom. It must have been a one off.

He's also created many chances over the last few weeks and is on set pieces.

    4. Shifty
      • 12 Years
      10 years, 8 months ago

I've cooled off Baines. Realized my midfield is too light this GW with Eriksen-Mane-Hazard if i went Baines and a 4-3-3...so going to do Sanchez>Silva instead of Naughton to Baines.

But would do Baines if i have a solid midfield 4.

hhmm since you have no WC,

Panti -> Davis/Kasper (unless you intedn to keep him untilDGW37)

May as well keep Panti for GW37, I don't like making keeper transfers unless I'm forced to. Dawson to Schlupp has crossed my mind 🙂 tempted by Sanchez to Silva too but I know I'll want him back in a few weeks.

I would get Huth if you can afford instead of Schlupp. He has scored recently, is a better threat in set pieces, a CBI contender in the event of s CE, but is only 0.2 more expensive. And nobody will have him

Yeah its still going. Its a pretty crap theme park tbh, after going to the ones over in Gold Coast you'd never go back to Rainbows End. That corkscrew is as tame as it gets, come on Champ 😉 There was a new ride put in last year which is pretty cool 🙂

hey guys serious enquiry. so i am currently in a money league leading by only 3 points. i am also the only guy in the top 5 with no palace cover gw 33. i have nugent aguero kane silva hazard fab sigg rose terry jag and davis in goal. i took a -4 already. and the second place and third place people also took a -4. should i take a -8 to get rid of sigg for palace cover or is it not worth it?

My first thought is to say that no, another hit wouldn't be worth it just to get in a Palace player, who would have to be a mid. That being said, Puncheon or Bolasie are tempting. Just would be a fairly big roll of the dice, and one that I'm not sure is necessary.

hmmm true.. after all sigg isnt so bad after all can get a freekick or assist after all.. just with emnes in attack now im demotivated but we would see how it goes. to hope for west brom to shut palace down at home is a big ask from me. but Pulis knows this palace team so we'll see. ill just have to hope for the best.. cant afford to lose first place at this stage of the season sigh. any cap suggestions. im thinking aguero kane or hazard. kane cuz i think he is due against a makeshift newcastle defense. but aguero at home vs a leaking west ham is also tempting. and hazard just seems to be the man in these games. so idk

I'm between Aguero and Kane for the captains pick. (I don't have Aguero currently, but will likely be getting him in. Just going to think about it more and make sure no weird injury thing pops up before I make the transfer.) If you forced me to choose between Aguero and Kane for this GW armband, I think that right now at this moment, I would say Kane.
