It’s not often that we get to spend a good portion of the ScoutCast discussing Leicester City’s rich array of Fantasy talent.

That’s how this week’s episode pans out, as Luke aka “D1sable” does his George Boyd act to come off the bench and join myself, Granville and Jonty to analyse the impending double Gameweek.

We tackle the usual ScoutCast regulars, whilst deflecting the latest round of questions from the community, assessing the great Foxes hunt, the Hazard versus Sterling gamble and even how we can possibly eek out a valid target amongst the Hull City squad. Meanwhile, Granville is dreaming of a three-digit points bonanza as he joins the world’s number one in activating his belated FPL Wildcard.

This week’s episode was beamed out live on Monday evening via Google Hangouts. You can catch the full fat version via the player below.

For those who prefer a more refined, fine dining version, you’ll need to click this link or use the smaller player below for the edited MP3 audio.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel and Google Plus page to keep informed of when future ScoutCast hit the screen.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Think i'm all set! But have 2 questions...

    Schmeichel
    Ivan Terry Skrtel
    Hazard Silva Sterling Hendo
    Giroud Kun Kane

    Myhill, Alrighton, PVA, McShane/Duff

    1) Should I straight Albrighton this week? Ahead of who?
    2) McShane or Duff? Would want to start said player in GW36

    1. Acquafresca
      • 14 Years

      1) Nah
      2) McShane
      3) Get Pants over Myhill, has a DGW coming up and rotates well with Kasper.

      1. Shifty

Cheers Acqua - considering Pants over Myhill. Would mean Ramsey is my only realistic option if want to bring an Arsenal mid prior to GW37 though.

Myhill leaves 0.5 in bank - allowing a quick Sterling > Ramsey or Ozil in GW36. Going Pants leaves just 0.1 in bank...and only Sterling > Ramsey option in GW36. Thoughts?

          I would still prefer Pants.

Maybe downgrade a Chelsea defender after the DGW to free up some cash.

One route I was considering was downgrading Chelsea def to a 2nd Sunderland defender...but then there wouldn't be save points.

            Thanks, will consider!

      I wouldn't start Albrighton
McShane. Only because he is playing at home. Danny Ings is also on a 6 hour goal drought.

Hmm. I think Ramsey is the slightly better option although it could change.

Since Myhill has extremely poor fixtures I'd probably get in Panti, yeah.

  3. Acquafresca

Anyone thought about all 3 of Ozil, Ramsey and Alexis?

Giroud may not start both in GW37 with Dat Guy starting up top for one of the games.

Considering going 3 ARS in midfield.

    1. Shifty
      • 12 Years
      10 years, 7 months ago

planning to get into GW37 with 2 FTs and have enough coin to decide then.

If Austin looks like he's on form then and Giroud looks like a rotation risk, easy switch. 2 peach fixtures for Austin GW37 and 38.

      1. Acquafresca

Agree on the Austin bit. Don't see Giroud starting both but we'll see.

QPR vs Leicester last game of the season has the potential to be an ABSOLUTE GOAL FEST with both teams abandoning defence if the scenario is "winner stays up".

Away vs United and Home to a relegation-bound team fighting for their lives doesn't scream CS galore.

He might not even but at Southampton. But I'd estimate around 6 mill. Pre-season form means nothing as evidenced by this season but yes he could be a decent buy.

      1. Puyol Pants Up

Well, we all know that he can produce consistent performances at this level unlike most players who we "Scouted" during the pre-season who hadn't even played an EPL game. (Tadic, Pelle, Ideye, etc)

Hey guys, a bit stuck for the DGW as I have some decisions to make. I am already shifting out Mane for Hendo. Thinking of drafting in Sterling and/or Fabregas, so for my midfielders I have Haz, Hendo*, Silva, Phillips and Mata.

So I am leaning on shifting either silva or mata to have enough money to bring in sanchez later on. Which one of them are most likely to score best for the run in? Silva has been performing well for a long time, but Mata has been showing progressing form. Mata also has a bad schedule compared to silva with more away games..

Finally I will also bring in SKrtel, so in total I am -4 already and thinking -8 could be ok, -12 a bit risky.

    Happy for advice!

If Chelsea hand over possession to Arsenal, they might be able to create a few more chances than Man U did. Not sure if Arsenal will be motivated though considering the league is pretty much wrapped up.

        1. Puyol Pants Up

If Man Uniteds star stuttered forwards couldn't produce the goods, I can't see Arsenal doing so either.

Valid points. Only thing to consider is that Arsenal are at home though, they might get a home bounce or a home call here and there.

However, looking a matchups on the field, Ivanovic will likely keep Alexis in check like he did earlier this season.

How isn't talent a factor in FPL? How would you pick a GW1 team? Aguero wasn't on form for weeks, yet he scores 2 goals and everyone brings him in. 2 goals in 1 game isn't form.

Zaha, Phillips, Taraabt are all very talented players, but have never been good FPL players. They're not the only examples either.

              This.

There are talented players who are poor picks, and less-talented players, e.g. Murray, Vardy etc. who are good picks.

I remember I wrote a long piece on how Kane's price tag tends to throw everybody off. It was after the Chelsea game and his 18 pt haul.

DZ how am I looking on WC?

    Schmiechel (ospina)

    Terry - ivano -skrtel
    Henderson -hazard - Sanchez -sterling
    Aguero - vardy - Kane

    Pva, cork, Baird
    .5 inB

So silva or Sanchez at present is my last decision
Planning to ship Hendo/ivano in 2 weeks for defender and oil/Ramsay and skrtel for free for a cheapie as well.

    Look good? Feedback uber appreciated

Draymond Green literally won Golden State this game.

Got like a million offensive rebounds and just got a 3 point play in overtime.

Benteke has scored 9 in his last 7 (including FA Cup) or something like that.

Haven't seen him in many WC teams though, guess cos of his next fixture away to CIty. Do you plan to get him?

I would happily go a frontline of Bentekke, Giroud and Aguero to the seasons end

He's in mine, will be benched this week, will go N'Doye/Vardy > Giroud in 35.

So will also have Kun, Giroud, Benteke till end of season. Villa have 3 out of 4 games at home to finish with, EVE, WHU and BUR. How tasty is that?!

Do you think having Vardy for one week is worth a FT? Wondering why people aren't just getting Giroud right away, Vardy isn't THAT much better a pick this week than Vardy

From GW 36 onwards, would you rather have:

    A) Aguero, Vardy, Giroud, Sanchez (-4)
    B) Kane, Fabregas, Giroud, Sanchez

    In other words:

    A) Aguero, Vardy (-4)
    B) Fabregas Kane

Aguero plays QPR at home that week.

      A

A would also mean a permanent switch to 3-4-3. With Vardy staring GW 36-38 (Unless I get rid of him)

A= Hazard, Sanchez, Henderson, Silva, (4.2)
        Aguero, Vardy, Giroud

B = Hazard, Sanchez, Henderson, Silva, Fabregas
        Giroud, Kane, (Vardy)

will Cahill play both matches or will Zouma start one? he's giving Solanke a debut, Zouma put in a good shift vs United, maybe he gets rewarded vs Leicester after pulling another DM shift vs Arsenal

Just my total guess but recon Zouma defensive mid vs ARS then doesnt play vs LEI. Once Chelsea wrap up the title he may get a few more starts as others rested.
