        Would go Grealish over Brady though. Grealish vs Albrighton would be interesting but not every team will be like Newcastle who can't defend set pieces at all.

          Southampton are the best in the business in defending set-piece's (I believe)

      3. Puyol Pants Up

        Realistically I would only play my "fifth mid" this week. West Ham are effectively on holiday at this stage, could see Villa doing some real damage to them. Not sure if Brady is nailed and I don't see him doing much at WB. I don't think Southampton will concede set-piece goals and Albrighton doesn't score many goals.

          • 12 Years

          West Ham don't concede many though and Grealish is yet to score in the PL. Brady is on penalties btw.

            Based on the past few games they are kinda on holiday mode. But yeah I agree that Grealish isn't a goal scorer.. That makes the decision even tougher. Is Brady nailed on?

              I think so, been playing well lately and has been nailed on in the past before getting injured.

            Brady being on pen's isn't necessary a good thing with Heaton saving pen's left, right and centre. Grealish has only started 4 games all season, give the lad a break.

              That's true I guess! He looked lively and dangerous whenever he has played. And for his price range, he can really give me more funds elsewhere. It's either Albrighton or Grealish for me this week.

          I'm planning to go for Grealish and play him over Philips. Fancy him more than Albrighton who is playing a strong Southampton side. Defensively at least.

                  None though.. That's the worry. Before this week no one has ever mentioned Gomez and now I see ppl suggesting him just cause of the 2 penalties. Sunderland aren't going to get penalties week in and out.

                  Really shows the amt of knee jerk I guess. But it's really time to get rid of sterling. His open goal miss sums up his seaosn

    Good morning all,

    I'd love some advice on the following transfer that I'm thinking about. Over the next 2 weeks I will need to take hits totalling 8 because I want Benteke and Sanchez and currently have neither.

    My main question is whether to do it all this week or spread it over the next 2. These are the possible transfers:

    A) Kane, Sterling, Fabregas to Benteke, Sanchez, 4.6m mid (-4)

    B) Kane, Sterling, Fabregas, Ivanovic to Benteke, Sanchez, Larsson, Koscielny (-8)

    The obvious advantage to B is that I get an extra DGW player in Larsson but it means I have to make my decisions on the 2 ARsenal players now. I'd then use my free transfer in GW37 to do something like Silva to Ozil/Ramsey/Cazorla, Downside is I have to get rid of Ivanovic

    In option A I would then have options at least but not 5th DGW player in Larsson. I could do Silva+Clyne/Skrtel to Arsenal mid / Koscielny and get to keep Ivanovic. Plus if I really wanted Giroud I could get rid of Aguero.

    Thoughts?

        Sounds like a plan, we (Man Utd) really look like we've run out of ideas again.

        I saw your thinking about mids. I have a hunch about Grealish although I might just end up with Albrighton. Either way I'll have double attack of some kind (Benteke/Vardy owner)

          Same here. Weirdly tempted by Brady too, who's got Burnley at home and is (very likely) on penalties.

            Yeah checked earlier and he had started last 3 matches. Who has he replaced? Any chance he now gets rotated?

            I'll play the cheap mid this week and then probably play Henderson in GW37.

    Good morning all.
    Thinking of ivanovic sterling to kolarov sanchez.
    But bit worried clichy comes back.
    Do you think kolarov will play?

    Also would you get rid of ivanovic or terry?

    Drop Vardy or Kane for Benteke?

      I'd lose Vardy - it's close, but Kane is home to Hull next week

    Morning people
    Is it safe to buy Ramsey with his 'swollen leg' ? I have exact money

      Wenger thinks he'll be okay. I'd monitor price rises and hold off as long as possible

        Cheers. Would love to wait until friday, but likely price rise tonight I think

          If its a knock I think he will play - Wenger won't be wanting to lose any momentum and they are pushing hard for 2nd place.

      It's not safe. But I reckon he'll be ok.

      Buying an Arsenal player with any sort of knock isn't safe.

      Hmmmm .... what to do. If either's price rise, I can no longer afford Sanchez & Ramsey

    Ivanovic has 3 yellow cards in the last 4 matches.

    He only got 6 in the previous 31 matches!

    I guess the pressure of getting those wins is getting to him. Hopefully he'll relax a bit now 🙂

    Lmao at Giroud! 3 goals and not even a sniff of an assist. I'd like to brag more however I chose Pelle over Giroud, hopefully he'll come good this gameweek!

    A) Ramsey Wickham (free)
    B) Giroud Gomez (-4)

    How is stokes defense looking? Might captain kane this week as I am chasing a 27 point lead.

      Haven't conceded more than 2 lately.

      I think Arsenal player could be the better bet for huge hauls.

        This is my thinking.

        I'm captaining Aguero as I'm leading but if I was chasing I'd go for an Arsenal player this week to try and make some ground up.

          Kun is better, QPR wont have an easier time playing on a bigger pitch size

            Yeah but if you're chasing there's only 3 weeks left. Something has to give...all depends how far behind you are

        Tekkers if you're not going Kun imo.

    Team
    ----------------
    Kasper
    Skrtel | Terry | Toby | Wolly | PVA
    Hazard | Silva | Fabregas | Henderson | Sterling
    Kane | Vardy | Aguero

    Option A
    ----------------
    GW36 --> Fabregas + Sterling + Kane >> Sanchez + Giroud + Albrighton (-4)
    GW37 --> Skrtel >> Koscielny

    Option B
    ----------------
    GW36 --> Skrtel + Fabregas + Kane >> Sanchez + Benteke + Albrighton (-4)
    GW37 --> Skrtel + Henderson >> Bellerín + Ramsey (-4)

    Please choose A or B

    Thanks!

      A for me. Despite his blank yesterday, I still think it's wise to wise to have Giroud for the double. Also 1 less hit in option A.

    Ospina
    Terry Skrtel Morgan
    Hazard Fabregas Sterling Henderson
    Aguero Kane Giroud

    Schmeichel Albrigton Duff PVA

    1 FT and 1.9 million in the bank. What would you do with this lot? 0.1 million short of my planned transfer of Fabregas to Sanchez.

    A) Sterling to Ozil/Ramsey
    B) Kane to Benteke
    B) Sterling and Henderson to Sanchez and Gomez for a hit
    D) Sterling and Kane to Ramsey and Benteke for a hit

    Boring I know, but these are the right moves eh?

    GW36: Sterling -> Ramsey
    GW37: Silva -> Sanchez

    Also, is it worth doing the Sanchez move this week for -4 and then using next week's freebie to triple up on SUN's defence?
