was rank 204k going into GW32 and now I'm up to 50k from 57k so far this gameweek with Terry, Ramsey/Hendo, Silva, Sanchez, Giroud and Aguero (c) to come

    keep the green arrows flowing!

I'm hovering around 35k, on here it's nothing to be excited about but I'm pretty happy. I reckon you've got too many bases covered to not have opportunities to get higher.

nice one, yeah at this point I would be satisfied with anything better than 37k..at least I would have made progress on my first proper season last year

Considering I'm more focused on my draft league game, I'm happy to be hovering around 35k. On course to win my mini league too.

My mini league is still massively in the balance. I'm edging it but bad week 37 could swing it beyond me. Fortunately my closest rival gambled on Benteke captain. Aguero big score and it's all but over. I'll be really pleased with that win.

                    Thanks. Same to you too.

I probably over thought Aguero captain too much. Was sure he'd go him and I'd be in trouble so should consider someone else but then decided he was standout option And going without him was madness.

I let everyone down, including myself.

I would like to blame bad luck but it was my own error that caused the upset. Bringing in Murray ahead of Vardy two weeks before the DGW was foolish and ultimately cost me the cup this year.

Hope you or Mark go on to win as you are the next two most deserving.

Is anyone considering triple Arsenal mids for next week? From what the community seems to be saying is that apart from Ospina there are no convincing double-game-starters in defence or attack, so are my thoughts of having Sanchez with 2 others from Cazorla/Ozil/Ramsey smart or stupid?

Good to know I'm not alone, thanks!

Also with 3 midfielders, you'll get 3 CS points which is only 1 less than what having a defender will get you.

This is true; 2 clean sheets for Arsenal is probably asking a lot (I'm a United fan!), but I'll certainly wait to see how Wenger lines them up against Swansea before doing anything.

        Thanks all for the feedback.

I considered your suggestion before as I am finding it difficult to decide who to bring in. I'm waiting until Monday to influence my decision.

    Morning all,

Either of these stand out? Had planned on A followed by Kane -> Tekkers in GW38, but with the injury doubt and rotation risk with the cup final, perhaps it's worth keeping Silva and getting Kos instead? Does leave a benching headache this week though. Terry?

    A) Silva -> RAMSEY/OZIL/SANTI
    B) Baird -> KOS (bench?)

    PANTI
    PVA, Skrtel, Terry
    SANCHEZ, GOMEZ, Haz, Silva
    GIROUD, Aguero, Kane

    Schmeichel, Schlupp, Baird, Albrighton
    Bank 2.2m, 1FT

    1. Mattias
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

Bring in Kos and bench Silva. You have City coverage with Aguero.

      1. Tex
        11 years, 5 months ago

I'd say if Silva is getting benched he'd be as well sold. I'd lean more to silva to Ozil or Ramsey if fit and still firing.

I just see to many stresses with Silva on the bench. Too much depth.

        1. Jinswick
          • Fantasy Football Scout Member
          11 years, 5 months ago

What about B and bench Terry (wba)?

          1. Tex
            11 years, 5 months ago

If Gomez wasn't likely for 4 points at least I'd recommend benching him. DGW can cause unnecessary problems.

I'd rather bench Terry than Silva though. You'll love the depth of you get an unforeseen injury but probably hate it otherwise

            1. Jinswick
              • Fantasy Football Scout Member
              11 years, 5 months ago

Yeah, the depth could come in handy if anyone gets a rest, and if you believe the masses that could even be Hazard.

I'm still favoring the Silva -> x trade though as I feel it has more upside and it leaves a nice chunk of change for a decent GW38 punt. A top 10 finish would be great!

              1. Tex
                11 years, 5 months ago

If that's the move you prefer then I'd advise going with it.

At this stage it's really down to timing and luck

Of these I think Graham for the DGW, Vardy and Benteke

Not convinced RvP or Cisse get starts at the moment. Cisse I think is probably likeliest of the 2. But if news that RvP is available after illness and likely to start I'd back him above Vardy. apologies if I've misunderstood and that is not affordable

Really depends on the scoring system. I expect Graham to play both but not score and Cisse is more likely to score in 1 game than Graham is in two. VARDY and Benteke to play with one of Graham and Cisse.

I'd settle for goal and bonus after rival Benteke gamble flopped. If he goes nuts all the better.

Are today's games relevant in terms of FPL?

I imagine Aguero (C), Silva, Chelsea defender and Hazard are owned by everyone...

    1. Epic Fail

      Plenty of people captained Bentekkers.

      1. Tex
        11 years, 5 months ago

Yep. Aguero big score could elevate up to 20% of top 10k from what I've Read on here. And plenty mini leagues stand to rise or fall on it.

        Don't remind me.

I knew I should have gone with Cleverly as captain ; -)

Your assumption about the players owned is correct.
Still , Ivan vs Terry and captaincy can swing it .

    1ft 0.1bank

    Panti (heaton)
    Ivan terry pva skrtel (toby)
    Haz silva sanchez (albrighton boyd)
    Kun tekkers giroud

Plan is silva to ozil/caz/ramsey for 3rd ars spot.
    A. -4 for boyd to gomez and bench skrtel/terry/ivan or
    B. just do the silva transfer and go 4-3-3 or
    C. just do the silva transfer and go 3-4-3 with albrighton and bench skrtel/ivan/terry

Just to let you know, sterling will score very well. i sold sterling while my closest rival tried to do sterling to caz and forgot to click confirm... He is generally a very lucky manager so watch out!

      I know these people.

My rivals had CDawson come off the bench for Moreno for three prior weeks. This week he started KDavis in goal with Panti as sub.

      Impossible to catch.
