    Should I do...

    a) Giroud to Benteke

    b) Bertrand to Kolorov

Neither IMO, at least not yet

Benteke may not start with Villa safe and a week away from Cup Final

Kolarov's window may have passed with Yaya back to steal free kicks back

Understand City have offered James Minlner a 4-year deal worth up to £165k a week to keep him. No decision yet from the player.

    https://twitter.com/MikeKeegan_DM/status/600413849779609600
City privately very upset with perception they are 'letting him go'. Basic thought to be £135k. £165k with incentives.

    https://twitter.com/MikeKeegan_DM/status/600414416828440577

JM will decide on 'footballing reasons'. Who can give him most mins in centre mid. Down to City, Arsenal & Liverpool. Move abroad unlikely.

you never know. some mini-league rivals have made some pretty rash calls under pressure of defending a lead! He might think c30points might be enough.

just stick to your game and hope he either a) bottles it or b) you get some luck.

Going too punty might just backfire i fear

As a Terry owner, first thoughts were "Oh sh!t". In the replay you could argue the case that Cahill was coming around on the cover.

Sterling can get lost. He'll be a number at another club and truth be told, he's been trash for months. He'll become a good player and showed glimpses of what he can do. I'm not arsed though, just hope City/Arsenal cough up. 35m would do me.

But what's worrying is the money will be in hands of the man who spent the Suarez money on the likes of Lallana Lovren Balotelli.

Markovic and Ibe are decent wingers and are obviously behind Sterling in development but I rather someone who wanta to play for the club.

Oh yeah? I missed it all, what was said?

I can just imagine Terry and Jose really getting into them before kick-off. I remember the United documentary in the early 90s when Fergie gave his team talk before the last game of the season. They'd already won the league and were playing us (Blackburn if you hadn't already guessed!) at Old Trafford and Ferguson was going mental telling them this was the most important game of the season for the fans etc and firing them up.

They won of course. Think even Gary Pallister scored a free kick!?

when Chelsea go all out, they aim to win 1:0
when was the last time they thrashed their opponent?

I guess it was in January when the beat Swansea 5:0. Since then they scored in the Premier League:
0 goals on one occasion (today)
              1 goal on 9 occasions
              2 goals on 2 occasions
              3 goals on 2 occasions (Leicester A (3:1) and Hull A (3:2))

You don't think the fact it's the last day of the season, feel good factor etc come into it at all?

I remember Chelsea absolutely toning someone on the last day of the season not so long ago when Champions. During Jose's first spell maybe?

If you mean Chelsea Wigan 8:0, then I think it was under Ancelotti and they were not Champions yet.

I think the way they played for a few months, they may have forgotten how to score many goals in a game, and won't be able to thrash Sunderland even if they wanted to.

Sterling would be a nervous wreck under LvG. He's used to Brendan calling him 'superb' or that he's got 'great character'. City must be favourites to get him.

    Mignolet - Myhill
    Bellerin - Fonte - Alderweireld - Terry - PvA
    Hazard - Coutinho - Sanchez - Silva - Albrighton
    Kane - Aguero - Giroud

    0.0 ITB
    2 x FT's

What do you think are the most pressing transfers? Fonte(mcy), Coutinho(stk), Kane(eve) stand out for me and am worried about game time for Sanchez and Giroud.

Kane > Ulloa and Giroud > Lukaku? Start Albrighton and bench Coutinho.

Sterling would be a big loss to LFC but he would do well in a team with better players around him. Worth 50M? Probably considering the market today. I'd sell him and put that money towards a striker with Markovic and Ibe being similar players.

He's not worth 50m! But if he's measured against Torres then he's worth 100m... But in reality 20-25 would be fair, and would force Liverpool to sell knowing the allure of cl football would be too much.

I've been amused listening to Liverpool fans on 5live. They all seem to think good riddance but the levels of rage suggest they don't really mean it. Sterling could end up have a huge career even though he's not been up to much this season
