Having finished fifth in their first season under Roberto Martinez, Everton failed to live up to our expectations last time around. With Europa League duties adding to their schedule, the Merseysiders stumbled home in eleventh spot, winning back-to-back matches on just three occasions in a bitterly disappointing campaign for Toffees fans and Fantasy managers alike.

In our latest article for members, we assess the Toffees’ squad, focusing on their key performers in terms of creativity and goal threat.

      United's, particularly if a 'big' forward is purchased. Would probably mean either a new role for Rooney, or a change in formation, as he's unlikely to be dropped imo.

      Not to mention that nobody is really sure where di Maria will play.

          Nah...If Arsenal and Wenger have a fault it's that they have too many players made of glass. I don't see any reason why next season will be any different. The team has hat to almost pick itself at times over the last couple of years.

      Yes, it's the same as UCL fantasy. You only can't sub them out if they're sent off.

              He is slightly more attacking than Herrera. I think right now, Herrera is a bit better. Kovacic is younger and has far more potential though.

    Word of caution when selecting Bernardo Silva or William for the fantasy under-21.
    They will both join Portuga u-21 team after Portugal's friendly with Italy (tuesday, 19.45).

    So they will not play against England, for sure.

        Was there, I was at work so only got glimpses of the game on TV, didn't see any of the punditry.

        But unfortunately, the future (short term at least) is far from bright. I'm to young to remember, but gone is the so called 'Italia 90' times. Wish I got to see Irish football doing that well, not sure I ever will. Guess you never know in another 30 or 40 years though.

          Wales have shown that with a couple of quality players (Bale & Ramsay) a country can aspire to qualification and more. Unfortunately for us we have no one that is even on a par with those two and more depressingly no prospects on the horizon either. I'm long in the tooth enough to remember the halcyon days of Euro88 and Italia90 and that was probably our golden generation but we didn't realise it at the time.

    What does your club need this Summer?

    Man Utd

    GK - Seems inevitable that De Gea will be off to Madrid, I am 50/50 on whether Valdes was brought in with this move in mind.
    RB - Valencia filled in admirably this season but he is not a RB. There is a case that Utd need two RB's as Rafael's Utd career seems over.
    CB - Utd need a leader in this position and someone who is world class. Jonny Evans see you later.
    CDM - Herrera has the creative position but a long term successor for Carrick is needed. A shield for the defence and a marshall of the attacking talent.
    ST - RvP is at the end of his career and Hernandez is out of favour. Higuain pleasssssseeeee.

      RCB - Skrtel is a huge liability and needs upgrading.
      CM - Assuming Lucas will be off. Gerrard and Lucas out, Milner and 1 more CM in.

      I agree with all of that as a United fan but I wouldn't be too disappointed if we don't land a DM. Carrick and Blind can do the job for now.

      I highly doubt we'll be going for Higuain as well. Having an eye on the future is important I think but its also necessary to have a striker capable of 20+ goals.
