Our members articles analysing last season are completed today with a review of West Ham’s performances. The Hammers entered 2014/15 in reasonable health, having finished 13th in the Premier League in the previous campaign, although they only gained 40 points and did flirt with the relegation zone before finally confirming their top-flight status.

Plenty of changes were made in both playing and coaching personnel at Upton Park last summer, with forwards Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho brought in, while Teddy Sheringham joined up as an attacking coach. Cheikhou Kouyate and Aaron Cresswell were also signed, while Carl Jenkinson and Alex Song moved to the Hammers on season-long loans.

In this members article, we asses the main goal threats and creators in Sam Allardyce’s final year at the helm and also compare the team’s attacking numbers to the previous year.

Are we thinking Walcott or Mane is better?

Anyone else think that double Arsenal attack is of utmost importance to start with?

    The fixtures look good.
The attacking players are in good space.
    Very fast on the counter.
Decent FPL prices for most of them.
    Attacking team.

judging by the bus they parked today, doubling up on their defence seems more important

Not particularly..would agree if one of those 2 were Giroud (but he isn't nailed either). Points are likely to be split randomly and I'd rather gamble on 1 and get in more prominent players from the other teams (Haz / Mane / Sterling are bound to be involved in most goals - at least until Kun is back)

Rather have a 2nd Ars player than Che before the Intl break...

      Ars - WHM, cpl, LIV

but u have to consider the money saved can be spent elsewhere. The difference between Kos and Ozil/Caz/Ramsey is 2.5m, thats a lot for improvements elsewhere such as the difference between a 4.5m defender and Ivan

Depends on the rest of your team... but C (for risk and reward) then B (for assist potential and closest to be nailed on in Ars), then C (maybe on pens)

All good choices. I have A and B

Anyone considering an Ibe/Hoolahan rotation? Both 5.0m and can share the 4th midfielder slot with these games:

    Panti - Ruud

    Cédric - Kos - Francis - Huth - Bassong

    Fab - Sterling - Mané - Depay - Sinclair

    Giroud - Kane - Benteke

    2 main concerns:

    - No Haz obviously

-Do you think Cazorla/ozil/ramsey are going to score more points than Giroud ?

would appreciate some feedback here (3.0 ITB with this team)

    Ruddy/Rudd

    Bellerlin/Kolarov, Cedric, Huth. Francis, Coates

Theo, Haz, Sterling, Mane, A. King

    Rooney, Sakho, Wilson

Obviously the money ITB would go to Kun

When are you bringing Kun in?
3.0 ITB is a lot, why not upgrade a few players.

I feel we need an earlier scoutcast this week, hint hint.

Thursday night. Usually fine, but with everyone looking to pick an initial team, an earlier scoutcast might help.

FPL has a tendency to crash on Friday nights.

Thank you. Last weeks was extremely helpful. But it did change my mind about Deeney, which I'm worried about now in case he does hit the ground running.

Any thoughts on this? Think it looks decent for the frst couple of weeks:

    Butland / Myhill
    Mertesacker / Darmian / Aldeweireld / Cedric / O'Shea
    Hazard / Walcott / Sterling / Henderson / Wanyama
    Pelle / Rooney / Wilson

    0.5m in the bank

Potential problems are triple Southampton (though Wanyama will never play for me) and possibly a bit heavy at the back, but don't see that many good cheap defensive options yet this season. Leicester have good fixtures but I think they'll bomb under Ranieri sadly.

Also, pretty straightforward to get Aguero in for GW4.
