Our members articles analysing last season are completed today with a review of West Ham’s performances. The Hammers entered 2014/15 in reasonable health, having finished 13th in the Premier League in the previous campaign, although they only gained 40 points and did flirt with the relegation zone before finally confirming their top-flight status.

Plenty of changes were made in both playing and coaching personnel at Upton Park last summer, with forwards Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho brought in, while Teddy Sheringham joined up as an attacking coach. Cheikhou Kouyate and Aaron Cresswell were also signed, while Carl Jenkinson and Alex Song moved to the Hammers on season-long loans.

In this members article, we asses the main goal threats and creators in Sam Allardyce’s final year at the helm and also compare the team’s attacking numbers to the previous year.

I like it - very similar to mine!

Not sure about Williams though, great player but has always flattered to deceive at FPL (whenever in my teams at least), I personally think Cedric is a better option.

Which 5.5+ Defender? Kolarov? Mert? Azpi? Kos? Iva?

Palace has apperently reached an agreement to loan Gayle to Fulham.

United and Barca are very close to reach an agreement over Pedro.

Next week West Ham could strike a deal with Barca for Halilovic(on loan i assume).

And Inler said no to Leicester.

Is Pulis and WBA even interested in using their only two natural fullbacks this season. I know Gamboa was away with Costa Rica but will Pocagnoli even play? I saw Brunt at left back. What’s the deal with their back line?

GK rotation of Hennessy and Butland a viable option at 8.5m? If Speroni is set to miss the start of the season Hennessy is more likely to be number 1 if he stays at Palace than McCarthy imo.

If Hennessy performs, Speroni might not even make it back into the starting lineup. The extra 1m is exciting, means I can have a power 3 midfield with Ibe and Wanyama and Kane Rooney and Benteke up front.

Not 100% but with Speroni struggling with a hand problem and expected to miss the whole of August (According to @BenDinnery on Twitter, make of it what you will) that's 3/4 games for either Hennessy/McCarthy to nail down a role between the posts.

agree, you never really know with rotation but I think cazorla ozil and ramsey will play the majority of games. I think coquelin is in for the 'harder' games and Walcott/ox/giroud will take games off each other.
I can just see arsenal scoring a few the first few weeks
