Please use this article to post your Rate My Team (RMT) queries and any questions regarding team selection and our panel will join the discussion to provide input on as many as possible.

The surgery will open run from 9pm until 11pm.

Here’s some quick house rules to read before you post:

      Maybe rework the defense. Bellerin faces competition of rotation, jagielca is overpriced and clyne is overpriced. Otherwise solid squad.

      Definitely need to take out Young. Maybe someone like Ritchie or ox (short term solution until Sanchez comes back.) Aguero will get about 30 mins maybe even less and prob wont be a starter till gw 3 cedric and huth may be better options for wollschild and lescottt.

      I think there is better options than sterling for 9 mil for example Cazorla ( Arsenal have nice 2 opening fixtures) for 8.5 and you get the extra 0.5 to spend. Even fabregas for the same price is bound to get more of a return. If you wanted you could always go hendo for 7 mill and upgrade the defence a bit more maybe pudil for cresswell/clyne/skrtel basically any 5.5 Suring up the defence just incase there is any injuries or even taking a punt at mahrez for 5.5 instead of Wanyama or if Ritchie doesnt pull through. Finally the decision of budget striker is up to you personally I would go for Wilson as Bournemouth are naturally attacking and against a weak defence such as villa's he has a great chance. Also Watford dont look to much of a threat to me and against Everton a Tony Pulis wba Southampton and City cant see many goals for Troy.

        Sterling might start in the lone forward role. And his pre-season is impressive as well.

        Everton's fixture sucks. Might as well wait for GW6 before getting any of their players.

          Quite light in the middle there.

          According to the last 2 years' trend, Offense kicks much faster and scores more points. As the season goes, the defense of top teams get tighter.

          You might give a thought of having heaver MIDS. Am thinking that you have too many first timers (Johnson, Ritchie, Mahrez, Wilson, Cedric) that will have to play every week.

            Good points. I ended up missing just how many new players I have. I know that is generally not a good idea. I may risk it anyways, since there would be a lot of rotation. I would expect to need to make changes as we find out who does well and who does not.

            At this point I don't think I am going to completely change, so I am risking it, but I may be sad for just the reasons you say. Perhaps the extra WC will come in handy.

    Monreal Cedric Azpi (Targett Coates)

    Thinking about whether Monreal or Bellerin. I'm choosing Monreal just because the competition for left-back is much less than right-back.

    Targett, for the first GWs until Bertrand is fit again.

    Coates, for he is sure to start according to the recent Hot topics. I want one of the 4.5 defs from Sunderland

    Any thoughts?

      Not sure about targett. If people transfer him out once bertrand is back, this value may fall leaving him with you forever till you use the wildcard and team value will decrease. And you sure you wanna double up on southampton defenders?

    Take a punt on Walcott?

    The pros:
    If he starts ahead of Giroud/Ox, and scores 1-3 goals, his price will rise up. If he doesn't even start, he would likely still play and get some minutes?

    The cons:
    He will not start. And he will not start and play at all.

      Looks good. Thoughts behind guzan and krul? Do they rotate well? You could look at ruddy and butland? Could take sterling and free up 1 mil also. Just a thought. You could also take cedric over fonte to get 0.5 more. Would help with getting the monster(aguero) in later!!! Forward line seems quite solid.

    Hey lads, please RMT and I have a couple of questions.

    I have 1.5m in the bank atm. I had a question though. Should I swap mane and deeney for hendo and pelle? Or should I get a 4.5 m mid in place of ritchie or a 6.5m mid for mane and swap deeney with benteke? Thoughts please? And does trusting panti as keeper seem fine?

    Money ITB is to upgrade Rooney -> Aguero by downgrading one of Sterling/Walcott/Benteke; whoever is not performing to free up 1m

    Is it worth having this money set aside or just WC and use up everything I have. I'm trying to avoid using the WC early.

    I can also do this by downgrading Hazard -> Fab before the season starts and have enough ITB to do a straight swap in GW3/4 and have extra for jumping on bandwagons

    Thoughts?

    Which team would people prefer? one has better depth but I don't think that matters as much early on in the season, i'll end up getting selection headaches:

    - initially want a SOU defensive coverage (Cedric), but decided to spare the soton quota for Pelle, if Benteke fail to impress in gw 1-2.. or are there any better 4.5 MF pick to replace Wanyama?
    - not sure whether Kaboul/Coates/OShea for SUN coverage
    - any better 4.5 DF suggestions, punts?

    Saving 3.0m in the bank for changing Aguero for Rooney when he's fit, maybe switching Mane for Depay when he's settle in the league.

    Any tips on improving my fowards prospect? Was considering switching Cameron for Pelle
