Please use this article to post your Rate My Team (RMT) queries and any questions regarding team selection and our panel will join the discussion to provide input on as many as possible.

The surgery will open run from 9pm until 11pm.

Here’s some quick house rules to read before you post:

    Wow, feels like the toughest year yet! There's usually 4 standout must have's but this year....crikey i've changed my team at least 15 times today!

    Currently:

    Ruddy
    Huth Ivanovic O'Shea
    Mane Hazard Ritchie Walcott(C) Henderson
    Rooney Pelle

    Subs: Butland, Wilson, M Richards, Cedric

    Team chosen based on Home games.
    My biggest question is around Mane. Do i risk swapping for Mahrez and using the money on a better defender? Also plan to bring in Aguero at some point but that'll require the obligatory Week 3 Wild card!!!

      I'd leave it as is. Mane ended the season well and has been good pre-season too. If you want to improve the defence then maybe consider swapping Ivan for azp - that frees up £1m

    Trying a five way Rotation at the back this year. Best I could come up with and picked the best pair of GK's with a differential to the defence.

    Hennessey or McCarthy while Speroni is out ?
    Who is the most nailed stoke central defender (4.5m) now that shawcross is injured?
    I picked Muniesa for the moment !
    Who is more nailed ? O’Shea, Coates or Kaboul ?
    Martin over Bassong at the moment.
    Might switch in Ozil if Walcott doesn’t deliver
    I have picked Redmond over Johnson as he is a risk as he played left back recently and with the arrival of Brady! What do ye think ?
    Wilson to Deeney When his fixtures improve.
    I was also thinking maybe Wilson to Kane until Agüero Returns ? Since I have 5.5m ITB.

    Whats the story with Agüero lads ?

    A. Should we leave room for him to come in (Gw4) ?

      I'm starting without him. I'm thinking/hoping that Rooney will be a safe bet for the first 3 GW

      I wouldn't leave 5.5 ITB. You could do a lot with that money until you get Kun in

      I wouldn't recommend having a team that is valued at over 5m below your total budget for the first three gameweek.
      Look at a way to pump that 5m into your team and then just downgrade that player and transfer in Aguero when required. E.g. upgrade Redmond to Ozil or Fabregas.

      I also had 2.5 ITB but I upgraded players to have a potentially stronger GW1 team. Maybe use the extra cash to upgrade Mahrez and you can always sub him in to get Kun later on. Still looks a good team though.

    Rooney Lukaku (Gomis)

    1.0m itb

    GK rotation -- Huth/Francis rotation (most of the time) -- Mahrez/Gomis rotation (Mahrez could be a regular starter though, freeing up the 3rd striker slot for knee jerks or bandwagons.)

    Intending to shift Lukaku out after Wk.1. Who comes in is dependent on this weekend's games. My thoughts are directed firstly toward Benteke and then Lambert, but if anyone else on budget, with at least 3 game weeks of reasonable fixtures.

    Watchlist also features Depay and Mitrovic as options from Wk.9, if not earlier. I will also jump on bandwagons in the first 6 or 7 rounds to try and bolster my finances for a possible Wk.9 WC, if it hasn't already been burned.

    ~Not sold on rotating GKs, with the memory of leaving Fabianski on the bench last season when he made team twice, and I'd rather have Panti over other SUN defenders. Plus good fixtures

    Azpi/Koscielny/Cedric/Francis/Huth

    Hazard/Walcott/Sterling/Milner/King
    ~Taking a punt on Walcott. If it falls thru, planning on downgrading him to fit Aguero. Milner is my choice 7 mil atm, but open for suggestions. Have Andy King for my 4.5, but also looking at Bentelab. Thoughts on that? Also, if I need to free up more funds for Aguero, I'll downgrade to a Chadli/Ritchie/Mahrez depending on who is performing.

    ~I have Wilson and Pelle for fixtures. Planning on upgrading Roo to Aguero unless he's firing on all cylinders, then I'll have to wildcard or take a hit. Thoughts?

    3) Should I find 0.5 for Pelle > Benteke? I feel Pelle's fixtures are better than Benteke and he is at a better match fitness too... decisions decisions...

    Probably going to wildcard at GW4 to bring Haz and Aguero in... I feel that Chelsea and City's fixtures aren't the best and there may be some price drops when points aren't as expected.

    What do I do with Costa? Really tempted to keep given his track record vs swans. However downgrading to 8.5 or less would let me upgrade fab to Hazard. My main issue is though that there a

    Having a dilemma with my strikeforce, which is currently on the light side though there is plenty of firepower in the midfield four... and the defence 😉

    Its a long way from Wilson or Sakho to Kane. The GW4 Aguero plan is to do Mane or Walcott to a cheap mid and I like to have 3 big hitters in midfield.

    Muddy rotation better than Mutland for me given WBA are better than Stoke. Gone heavy with Ivanovic in def and looking to rotate the other 4 (BOU and SOT rotate home/away which is helpful), with Cedric playing 6/7 times out of 10.

    Rooney a given, sakho and Tekkers a little punty compared to the rest of the team i guess

          Deeney and Wilson are popular round here, both have decent fixtures and might be slightly more attacking as promoted teams than Sunderland who are a little more tried and trusted and conservative

      A sounds better, I'd go Ozil though over Ramsey

      Best 5th mid:
      Fletcher and Surman about even. Fletcher's bookings and injury history lean me towards surman

      I would say keep Ramsey and Pelle. Best 5th mid I guess it is personal preference, I would say Wanyama.
