Please use this article to post your Rate My Team (RMT) queries and any questions regarding team selection and our panel will join the discussion to provide input on as many as possible.

The surgery will open run from 9pm until 11pm.

Here’s some quick house rules to read before you post:

    0 itb any help is welcomed. I'm feeling unsure about Walcott and I feel my attack is a little bit weak. Thanks loads!

    Is Ramsey the best option for the Arsenal 8.5m pick or is Ozil/Carzola better (looking to swap Walcott for Sterling Wk3

      Stirling's had a better pre-season but risks being rotated. In a team likely to win frequently however.
      Depay is more likely to start as United's options are limited but unproven in the Premier L and not guaranteed to win as frequently as City (in my opinion)

          He's still only 20 in a strong squad and personally think overplayed by Rodgers for his age

          Saying all this, I've nearly convinced myself to pick him instead of Mane FFS!!!!!!!

            I've got Mane, Sterling, Hazard, Ritchie and Ozil in mid. Didn't particular want Ozil, had Giroud up front in a 3 with Rooney and Benteke but torn between who starts Wally or Giroud. I'm an arsenal fan and think Giroud but you just never know!

          Yeah I feel the same, especially since he was very hot and cold! Plus I like how easy Depay can be traded for Eriksen - who is a fairly consistent performer in his price range.

          it's certainly a tough selection this year.....spent all day - literally - fiddling with the team and reading up on players. There's no nailed on selection other than Hazard....it all comes down to kick off 🙂

      can see sacrifices in defence for this team....from experience, you need to find the cheap regular defenders who rotate with each other for this type of team to work for you. I fell into the trap of focussing on mids and forws and risked losing 20 points a week

    I've gone strong in defence, and therefore short up top - but overall views on balance and strategy would be welcomed? The lack of City coverage potentially covered with Rooney and Hazard to Sterling and Sergio in GW4:

      I'd look to get a more midrange striker like a Pelle or Benteke instead of Wilson or Sakho. Definitely think you need to ease off a little in defence personally

        I agree....I think there's better potential in some £4.5m defenders than the selection there.

          I was thinking of dropping Sakho but strikers are always a points threat where as low priced midfielders can just be two point magnets.

            I think Cech will have a clean sheet, at most 1 goal past him. Davies has scored 2 and played up the pitch pre season...? Or I could drop Sakho to bench and have a 7m midfielder instead of Davies who could I chose then? Lol

              I'm not going to lie, not sure who you mean by Davies. Davis of Soton? So can't judge on likely chance of points.

              How about going Mahrez for £5.5m and using the £1.5m elsewhere if you've got £7m to spend? Hendo to Mane or maybe Targett to Cedric?

      Not knowing the rest of your team, i'd suggest maybe Azpi and Sterling and then using the money elsewhere?

      For the choice I'd say Ivan and Sterling just edge it for me

        Agree. I'd suggest downgrading Benteke or Pelle and spending a little more at the back. Not convinced by Hendo and Siggy personally but they could be good options

    Plan is to drop my wild card GW4 to bring in Aguero (& maybe Sanchez). I know there is a misbalance in the money between defence and midfield and attack but the plan is to make hay before GW4.
    What do you reckon? Any obvious changes?

            That depends on his form. Mahrez and Sinclair are the compromises to get the big players in. I figure both are risks but having two of them mitigates that.
