Hendo > Payet, Pelle. > Gomis... Allows me to get aguero in next week with a little buffer in case price changes occur

Seem sound enough or am jumping into these bandwagons too early?

    Eriksen very lively again today.

The beauty abt him is he's guaranteed bonus even with just an assist. Full 3 bonus today even though chadli scored.

Plus noone has him, as he's considered too expensive.

...breaking my cherry on these boards.
another crap week and the wildcard has been played.
    quick question...
if i select players who are likely to go up in cost at the start of the week and sell using the unlimited wildcard do I get to keep the money?
apologies if this is a dumb question....

    1. Chenku╰☆╮
      • 11 Years

You get 0.1 for a 0.2 rise that week. So yes in theory you might get a player or 2 to rise .2 and cash in .1 each.

fantasy pl is just as much about getting on the bandwagon before it's too late as it is keeping faith in your players for long enough to catch their hauls, your post is quite dumb

      1. megatronaldinho
        • 15 Years
        10 years, 4 months ago

thanks. people on here had terrible teams that wud have cost many, many points to remedy, but they were browbeaten into persevering by those who consider an early WC as the domain of the casual.

          • 14 Years
          10 years, 4 months ago

Aye, I always favour early hits. An early WC isnt that great a loss, if your team is that bad. No point holding it back for eternity.

Maybe people stopping talking about doing a WC

      1. megatronaldinho
        • 15 Years
        10 years, 4 months ago

this ain't about me. it's the people who come here looking for advice on poorly constructed teams in dire need of refurbishment. they are told not to WC because to do so is simply an amateur move. but in many cases it's a necessity.

    4. Frank Black
      • 12 Years

The guy won the FPL two seasons ago(i think) used his WC after one or two GWs.

        • 15 Years
        10 years, 4 months ago

see this what i'm talking about. every case is diferent, but you have a bunch of people here making fun of early WCers and convincing those who might need to use theirs that doing so is simply wrong. it saddens me.

despite not starting particularly well, i'm not playing WC for another few weeks. starting to think 352 is looking like a better formation than 343 this year. there's a lot of mids already staking a claim.

my usual tactic is to have a 4.5 mid who's always benched, but maybe a 5mil (ish) forward option might be a better idea this year as a bench option, and load up on decent mids with aguero and probably benteke up top.

    any thoughts?

Sort the bandwagons in the order you would jump on:

      A. Gomis
      B. Ayew
      C. Payet
      D. Mahrez
      E. Romero

Wouldn't touch Romero with a barge pole. The rest are good options.

I'd go: Payet, Gomis, Mahrez, Ayew, Romero.

      Myhill - McCarthy

      Shaw - Williams - Huth - Francis - Richards

      Sanchez - Silva - Mata - Payet - Albrighton

      Aguero - Gomis - Deeney

I need to upgrade my second keeper eventually. But for now, is Mata the best fit here? Or should I consider Mane, Ayew, or someone else in the short term?

      Cheers.

That's a lovely team, save transfer.

I wish I were that prescient. That's just a possible (but not committed to) wildcard team if I get frustrated after the rest of this week's games. I feel good about all but Mata but wouldn't want to double up on Swansea and get frustrated with Mane's chances but lack of results.

You know it's a strange start to the season when you're happy to make the top 1,000,000... 🙂

      So is Gomis rising today?

I was hoping I could hold onto Lukaku till Saturday and make 0.1 profit before going for Gomis.

Looks like it. Nothing wrong with keeping Lukaku on today's form, though!
