    Early ideas on this lot?

    Ruddy Rudd
    Kolarov Cédric Morgan Coates Gomez
    Mahrez Silva Sánchez Payet Westwood
    Agüero Benteke Wilson

1 FT, £1.1m in the bank.

    What would you do if

    a) Silva is fine
    b) Silva out a few weeks

    Cheers for any advice.

    1. Slam

      B) Bring Barkley and C him for MNF fun 🙂

This maybe. KDB looked good today. Not Silva-esque but had a unique way of controlling things.

Silva or Sanchez to Hazard or possibly KDB

    5. Hy liverpool

      a) coates/ruddy→dawson/myhill
      b) silva→KDB

    6. Zasa
      11 years, 1 month ago

      A) Save, or make a defensive transfer, either Coates/Huth to Wba/Swa defender. Or alternatively, Ruudy to Myhill/Begovic.

      B) Silva to KdB

    7. 7alwachi
      11 years, 1 month ago

      A) Get a keeper, preferably Myhill.
      B) Get a keeper and either Hazard or De Bruyne for Silva. Chelsea have easy fixtures and Hazard looks like he could finally find form.

Still to get a goal from my captain this season. Have moved up to 69k with 2ft though and yet to take a hit. What would you do next?

    Boruc, McCarthy
    Kolorov, Lovren, Janmaat, Richards, Morgan
    Hazard, Sanchez, Yaya, Mahrez, Westwood,
    Aguero, Gomis, Wilson

Doubling up on West Ham's attack(Moses and Payet) for next 3 weeks(NOR, sun, crp), risky?

    1. 7alwachi
      11 years, 1 month ago

Depends. You need a big hitter from City in midfield or attack and one of Hazard or Pedro since Chelsea have easy fixtures too. Mahrez essential. Maybe if you play with 5 in midfield and have Agüero?

      1. Holmes
        11 years, 1 month ago

Attack at the moment looks like:
        Sanchez-Payet-Yaya-Coutinho-Ayew
        Wilson-Kun
        Thinking of Ayew to Moses/Bolasie.

    Hi all,

Do you guys think that this'd be the week where the downfall of the casuals starts ?

I obviously don't know how most have performed here but since my team is pretty FFS template ish and I've managed a hefty72 points, so I'm assuming most here has done well too.

    So is this the week?

    1. johnbarnes
      11 years, 1 month ago

      not the 'casuals' debate again...

Most have 40 odd points so you've done very well. The casuals have had a shocker by the looks of it, the average is quite low.

      1. A-VB
        11 years, 1 month ago

        Thanks Ryan.

I hope this is the week for us and weeks after this one. My ML leader (till yesterday) has 16 points. So casuals indeed had a shocker mate.

They've all used their wildcards and have spent big on their defence. When Hazard Alexis Agüero etc. start scoring regularly again then they'll struggle to fit them in so yes. Got huge green arrows this week and I'm expecting more for the next 5 at least.

      1. A-VB
        11 years, 1 month ago

        Yea absolutelly,

But since Hazard has been mentioned in this context, I personally think Pedro is still a better value for money, though I own Haz myself.

Congrats on doing well this week mate.

      Laters Balders.

Looks like Doosra and Jossy tied for the 256th spot - 38 (17).

Doos leads on the second tiebreaker which is fewer transfers made.

          Ah, unlucky for Jossy then.

A nice fixture swing for Chelsea now, looks like a potential form swing too. Are people considering the likes of Costa, Hazard, Pedro, Azpi among others?

    1. Eden Hazardous
      11 years, 1 month ago

I am doubling up on Chelsea defence(Begovic and Azpi/Zouma) and I already have Hazard

    2.

The season ticker makes it look easier than it is, Southampton and West Ham should not be blue IMO

True, they are still well short of 'free flowing' in attack as well

        1. Eden Hazardous

We dominated Arsenal in the first half tho

Yep, Arsenal played badly but Chelsea nullified them well. It was a defensive game really.

            1. Eden Hazardous
              11 years, 1 month ago

              Hence a defensive double up

The midfiels trio of Oscar , Fab and Matic was quite effective

Oscar was not at it offensively but he nullified Cazorla brilliantly with his pressing

            Derby always different.

      2. Eden Hazardous
        11 years, 1 month ago

Well it was never about the fixtures with Chelsea as they are fixture-proof imo but a case of them getting back their form

    3. sleecc
      11 years, 1 month ago

Azpi, I have Pedro. Not Costa, card magnet.

    4. Burning Plastic
      11 years, 1 month ago

Pedro. I had him after his first game. He took quite a few shots on target today and was unlucky not to get a goal. I like his directness. I am hoping people start getting Hazard instead thinking an off-target effort is a good game from him.

Pedro was wasteful with a lot of his shots though I felt. Hazard had shooting chances and was very creative.

        1. Eden Hazardous
          11 years, 1 month ago

Plus Chelsea's attacks were concentrated on the left side

        2. Burning Plastic
          11 years, 1 month ago

That is another way of looking at it. Maybe Hazard returns to form against a relegation bound team. He is likely going to score; I hope Pedro's style delivers points.

    5. mookie

Considering Azpi and Oscar. Can't afford Hazard(too expensive anyway) and don't like Pedro. Costa yeah, as soon as he starts performing and becomes a captaincy option.

      1. Eden Hazardous
        11 years, 1 month ago

Oscar played CM yesterday and was horrible to say the least but was pivotal to our win as he made many interceptions in the Final Third

    6. Heels_Over_Head
      11 years, 1 month ago

      Already was on it.

Not sure who's right though. Didn't see much form from anyone but Pedro and Zouma yesterday. Expecting FA action against Costa

      1. Eden Hazardous
        11 years, 1 month ago

No FA action can be taken against Costa as 'technically' what he had done was a YC card offence but morally I agree

        1. Heels_Over_Head
          11 years, 1 month ago

FA can take action for offenses not seen by ref detrimental to the game, and he has become more detrimental than Suarez ever was in my opinion.

I had money set aside to bring him in for Wilson too
