Tottenham welcome Crystal Palace to White Hart Lane in Sunday’s early kick-off. Spurs recorded their first win of the campaign last time out against Sunderland but will face a stern examination in front of their own fans with the Eagles arriving having won both their previous road ties.

Before the weekend, Spurs ranked fourth for shots on target (27) and joint-second for big chances (12) yet have just four goals to show for their efforts – drawing attention to their poor finishing. Back-to-back clean sheets for Mauricio Pochettino’s troops show their improvement at the back, but they’re still yet to taste victory at home this term and have chalked up just two shut-outs in their last 11 match-ups at the Lane.

Prior to Saturday’s matches, no side had conceded more shots inside the box (58) than Palace this season, but it’s important to note than Alan Pardew’s outfit have already faced off against the like of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City. On the attacking front, Palace rank in the top six for big chances (10) and shots on target (24). Only a trio of clubs (Man City, Leicester and West Ham – 11) boasted a superior goal output to the Eagles (eight) going into this Gameweek, ensuring that Spurs’ rearguard are in for a testing afternoon.

Yes, was awarded it as a special from the Towers due to me picking 11221 in the first 5. Will probably play it next week, although am on the start of a roll as went Kun this week for a superb 5

Missed the game yesterday. Saw some posts / Tweets saying Hazard was lucky to be awarded the goal yesterday?

Why is there suddenly such a big thing about bringing him into our teams? Is it because Sanchez isn't scoring points? Did he look good?

    1. THE Wild Rover
      11 years, 29 days ago

He was okay. After Arsenal went down to 9 men

    3. Jazz!

Sanchez looked OK. Arsenal didn't look good at all. Hazard looked sharp and Chelsea were playing really well. Pedro looked threatening too. I think Chelsea are back.

        9 men

Hazard looked like his old self at times yesterday but he had lots of space to work with after red cards for the Gunners

    5. Jeremiah
      11 years, 29 days ago

Hazard's shot was going well over the bar, took a big deflection off Chambers and wrong footed Cech.

Sanchez looked good early on, looked tired as the game progressed.

    6. djenzio
      11 years, 29 days ago

his shot took a lucky deflection. didnt see game but apparently he was average. I guess the win for Chelsea and the kind run of fixtures has us to believe that they are turning things around and with that Hazard will start scoring again.

I am gonna hold him and see if that is true. If I didn't own him I wouldnt be rushing him in but I am no hurry to sell him

    7. Milner4eva
      11 years, 29 days ago

Shot off target against 9 men

Sakho really flying under the radar, hitting a bit of form now and is already above Aguero and Costa for points and not that far from Gomis....

yeah really good. everyone is trying to get Payet in but Sakho is being ignored, glad I held him all this time. gonna double with Payet for a little while but I think Sakho will tick over nicely this season

Wilson>Ighalo or Tekkers>Ighalo next week on a free? I doubt Benteke will net against Villa and with Sturidge back he will probably steal the spot light. Watford are good defensively and Stoke are decent, Wilson has been scoring but Ighalo has much better fixtures long term. Ighalo has excellent goal scoring fixtures in Palace, Bournemouth, Stoke, West Ham and Leicester in his next his 6 before I wildcard.
