Forget two fat ladies, in ScoutCast Bingo it’s all about three men with paunches chatting Fantasy Football fortunes, rattling out a few familiar clichés along the way.

Thanks to Numb’s witty community contribution, this week’s episode finds us gripping our dabbers in preparation for mispronunciations, dropped connections and a regular helping of “blimeys”.

Around those fun and games, we tackle the serious matters – assessing the merits of Sergio Aguero, Callum Wilson’s replacements and my range of Christmas jumpers.

All those hard-hitting issues are addressed via another round of community questions, following on from our review of Gameweek 7 as Granville fights the urge to gloat having opened up a 40 point lead over yours truly.

This episode of the ScoutCast was broadcast live on our YouTube channel on Wednesday evening. You can view the full Google Hangout on the larger player below.

For the edited audio version, you’ll need this link or the handy player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Butland/McCarthy owners.

Should we play McCarthy as he has the better fixture and hope he starts? Butland auto-sub will rescue us if he doesn't.

He is no youngster and a year on may have an effect in a less attacking team but his stats last year were remarkable.

Hennessey and a coin-flip to be honest, Cedric has more attacking potential since neither are going to get a CS (Leicester best chance of that but they're leaking goals).

This is probably me spurs bias talking but i really think this is lamela's season. With teams double (even triple) marking kane it gives lamela much more time on the ball. The kid has talent and a potential steal at 6.8

Plus with Kane still struggling a bit in front of goal, he's a much cheaper route into the Spurs attack. My only issue is his tendency to pick up silly bookings.

When is the Man City's presser? anyone?

Read somewhere that Kompany will be out for the WE also.
That's becoming quite annoying, since he's the most expensive DF I've bet on.

Only encouragement is that City didn't keep any CS during his absence.

What are Kompany owners thinking? Ship or patience?

It has been more or less confirmed that he will be out this weekend. And maybe even during the international break. I have an opportunity to sell him for a profit and I might just do that.
Too expensive defender to not be available to play.

After much tinkering, this is where I have landed with my wildcard team. Would appreciate any final suggestions before it's set in stone.

    Begovic (Hennessy)
    Kolarov, Monreal (Evans, Davies, Hangeland)
    Alexis, Mata, Payet, Mahrez (Drinkwater)
    Kun, Sturridge, Vardy
    0.0 in the bank

    Are Hangeland and Davies nailed?

Plan is to do Sturridge/Payet to Sakho/Hazard IF Hazard shows some form in the next game. If Sturridge scores or assists against Everton, his stock should rise over the international break. Have struggled with this over the past week, and alomost pulled the Hazard/Sakho trigger but missed Sakho's price rise and saw this as a divine intervention...

Thx for the Davies heads-up. Who would be a better option?

It is very risk, but I have Hoolahan as well, probably worth a risk because if he starts this gw (which I think he will), if he delivers the place could be his for some games. Lots of ifs so obviously very risky

Yaya is not ruled out .....could have avoided a hit imo

Cheers for response guys but can't get Vardy without getting Pedro out? What reasons for keeping his form has been poor?

Play Hoolahan and save FT, or Wilson-Ighalo immediately and bench Hoolahan? Thanks.

What you could do though, if you are sure Ighalo is your preferred Wilson replacement, do the transfer now and still bench him. If you are concerned about value drop of Wilson that is.

Ship Wilson before he get another price-fall.
He's out for 6months anyway, no need of keeping him.

Totally agree, but with TV of 102.8 and WC played I'm not really worried about the price drop. Rather keep the FT and play around with 2FT after the international break. Team as it is now:
        Butland (Schmeichel)
        Kolarov-Williams-Francis (Darmian, Targett)
        Sanchez-KDB-Mahrez-Payet-Hoolahan
        Kun(C)-Martial (Wilson)

Only one playing sub, but the way I foresee it, only Hoolahan of my starters has slight chance of resting, and if so Darmian will cover (hopefully not :-))

Which one should I go with?
    a) Janmaat + Mané + Walcott + Gomis
    b) Hutton/O'shea + Tadic + Sánchez + Berahino

Swans have a couple of nice fixtures. I'm giving gomis another 2 weeks then shipping.

That's a fine plan, he has potential to score quite a lot of goals though.

          2. Eze Really?
