Forget two fat ladies, in ScoutCast Bingo it’s all about three men with paunches chatting Fantasy Football fortunes, rattling out a few familiar clichés along the way.

Thanks to Numb’s witty community contribution, this week’s episode finds us gripping our dabbers in preparation for mispronunciations, dropped connections and a regular helping of “blimeys”.

Around those fun and games, we tackle the serious matters – assessing the merits of Sergio Aguero, Callum Wilson’s replacements and my range of Christmas jumpers.

All those hard-hitting issues are addressed via another round of community questions, following on from our review of Gameweek 7 as Granville fights the urge to gloat having opened up a 40 point lead over yours truly.

        I ask the question because I wanted some reassurance about my own doubts but you are right, there is no reason to be absolutely confident in him this GW. It's a leap of faith.

        Best of the rest then... hmmm...

        Mata, KDB/Silva, Sanchez/Walcott, Vardy/Mahrez, Payet.

        I might go with Vardy or Payet.

          If you were looking without the historic goggles on and were just going off by which players looked to be on fire it would be between Sanchez Vardy Payet and Mata

          I think Arsenal and United will be tight 0-0 or 1-1 so i would stay away from Sanchez and Mata

          Then out of whats left i would probably give the armband to Vardy just because he is a striker and should get more chances

          But Aguero is still a nightmare if you are brave enough not to captain him you could be seriously sickened as well as rewarded

                      Just saying take a second look at the defence. I don't think apart from maybe the keepers it is as bad as it first seems. It is cheap though.

                        They may well. But does it matter as long as I can put out 3 defenders from decent defensive teams per week. The rotation works apart from GW 12 I think it is where I might just AOA and the defenders are from decent defences.

                  Yeah. I feel uneasy about the GK's too. But to get the rest of it I cannot have a second playing keeper/5th playing defender. I could choose another 4.5 of course like Butand who will not lose his place.

                      It crossed my mind as well. But I got him 4.9 even if I reduced him to a 4.5 it only frees up 0.4 it wouldn't get me a second playing keeper and from next week he will be the defender people want.

                  I'm more worried that unless he is fully fit, he starts and last about 15 minutes then feels his hammy and goes off. Hope Pellegrini wouldn't start him if he's not 100 percent but did he do that in the Champions League?

    One firm spot left in division 3, though probably a couple more spots will open mid-draft.

    Draft starts Sunday after matches. Slow draft (i.e. draft takes around 10 days give or take).

    No idea but he never played so late in the break. They have had fixtures on Friday before but he wasn't included. They play return leg on 23/10 (Friday) and he obviously won't be playing in that. Seems like it's always been 2nd string team without European stars for such fixtures.

        This time the match is on Tuesday. He has played on Wednesdays & Thursdays. Of course I'm not 100% sure he'll be starting but I think he's more likely than not starting this time considering that they lost the last time around by benching him. And I don't think he was benched every time after the Int. Break. If somebody did research on this that would be helpful.

    Holding Wilson, Shaqiri and Gomez this week (bench) then immediately after the deadline (before a 2 week int break, which may be stupid) transferring to Pelle, Alli and Nyom for a -4 to give

    Bego, McCarthy
    Kolarov, Cresswell, Nyom (Gomez), Francis, Evans
    Sanchez, Ayew, Mahrez, Payet, Alli (Shaq)
    Aguero, Martial, Pelle (Wilson)

    This is purely due to being priced out of this if I wait, and I can't find a good replacement for Wilson without a hit atm and the longer I hold the more money I lose. Anyone got any good advice for holding off (I know a -4 before a 2 week break may be a disaster if there are injures, but I have no real weak links in that team and would happily play them all)

    The guys were talking stats and the tables in the members section this week but ive just noticed there are tables in there looking at players and stats from last season...

    why is that?
    how can i tell which arent from this season?
    why arent they all dynamic?
    why arent the old/non-dynamic ones removed?

    theyre worse than useless if theyre using old data and we're making decisions based on previous seasons.
