        Thanks TM, the odd rotation I can cope with we'll get that with most of the squads now, just have to make sure our benches are solid for the occasional auto-subs.

    Does anyone recall how many "juicy" dble GW's there were last year?

    I'm just trying to weigh up whether I play an AoA this week, or save it for a DGW.

    My defence is currently
    Evans, Dier, Kolarov, Williams, Targett

    Hoping that Kolarov and Williams play with an outside chance of Evans. Have thought about Targett for (Bellerin or Berty -4)

    Front 8 would be
    San(C)hez - KDB - Payet - Barkley - Mahrez
    Pelle - Ayoze - Gomis

    Any ideas would be appreciated

        Probably struggling for 3 defenders. Don't see it as a great chance for the AoA but that chip isn't really as valuable as the others.

          BB and triple (c) look best in DGWs. Just depends how well you set up with the 2nd WC.

    1. Jay_

      I'm going Costa and captaining him, might have gone Pelle but had 3 saints, it just feels better to have a Chelsea player at home to Villa, I know the stats ain't there but surely they will put at least 3 by Villa and Costa should be involved, the captain should cover my hits too (hoping)

              well i looked at the next 3 games for Costa Kane Lukaku Gomis Sturridge in particular.. Pelle i discounted as i have Mane and dont want to be going into the saints leicester game with 4 players.. Kane i would back strongly to score against the pool and following that away to bournemouth and home again to villa on the MNF his fixtures stood out as the strongest... his form isnt great but neither was agueros before he plundered 5 past newcastle.. feel a Kane purple patch is coming

                    not firmly because I remember from last season how poor his finishing CAN be so I'm looking at Costa as the fixtures are also good and I highly doubt Chelsea look complacent for long..

                    but now you got Kane in my head 😉

                    then there's Lukaku who has a tough next two (though admittedly as a United fan he could definitely score vs us depending on the team LVG sends out) and then brilliant from GW11 on

                      haha im glad i have got u thinking im 100% going with him did the transfer after the england match earlier..

                      lukaku is indeed an option and could score against united and arsenal but by the same token he could well blank in both they are tough games were everton will struggle for possesion.. for that reason im holding off till gw 11

                      if it was purely a one week punt then il admit i would have went costa but that just wasnt the case for me

                        looking at my table, while there's a noticeable tier between them 3 and City and Arsenal at the top, the chance creation and attempts on goal is really good for Spurs, Soton and Chelsea in that order (3rd-5th)

    while there's a noticeable tier between City and Arsenal at the top and then Spurs, Soton and Chelsea, the chance creation and attempts on goal for the latter 3 is still really good..

    vindicates Kane, Pelle and Costa all as viable Kun replacements

    thankfully I have a whole second day to think about it, the price gods were fair today

      I am thinking of doing Kun to Kane next week and Gomis to Lukaku the following GW. Yet to take a hit and trying to avoid doing so. Press conferences this week should decide wether I have to or not though with a few flagged players

      My personal note on Spurs Kane and Costa Chelsea.

      I do like both players although the price are a tad expensive than say, Lukaku or Pelle. Its just that the goals from both team can come alot from midfields.

      Spurs goals can potentially come alot from midfields. Erikssen, Lamela, Chadli. Son (although injured atm). Even Dier and Mason is contributing. Same thing with Chelsea atm.

      Thats why for me, i like to go for the forward who is more a focal point to the teams attack. Like Lukaku or Pelle.

        fair enough but Pelle isn't the best finisher even if on form now and Everton aren't creating a ton. That being said Everton did have one of the tougher runs in the PL so far.

        Good point bear

        Im definitely more inclined to getting Lukaku to replace Kun but he has a tough fixture against Man Utd, and -4.

        Any advice on this ?

        Myhill (DDG)
        Sagna Kolarov Bellerin Evans (Darmian)
        Mahrez Alexis Payet Barkley (Drinkwater)
        Pelle Vardy (Kun)

        Kun -> Lukaku ?
        Barkley -> Mane ?
        Darmian -> Van Dijk?
        Sagna -> Monreal ?
        Drinkwater -> Morrison ?

    Thinking of just putting Aguero on the bench this week if we get some good news on Evans, Janmaat and Kolorov. What do you think?

    Boruc
    Kolorov*, Zouma, Evans*, Janmaat*
    Hazard, Sanchez, Mane, Mahrez
    Gomis, Ayoze

    McCarthy, Morgan, Westwood, Aguero 0ft 1.3 itb

        No more moves this week. Wasted my FT early over price changes like an idiot selling Yaya to Mane. Then I get 4flagged players. My worry is that Zouma may not even play either so 4/5 of my defenders are currently doubts. Hopefully the pressies will clear it up.

          Seems like you're going to have to bite the bullet sooner or later and take a hit, but I'd think Evans and Kolarov ought to be back, and with Ivanovic and Matic both out, I think Zouma (probably) plays somewhere, at least, although it may well be out of his natural position, wherever that may be.

            Well Zouma has played in the Matic position before that would be great but why would Matic not be playing? Any idea what is wrong with Janmaat? Other than "knee injury" on the fpl website I have heard nothing about it? If they were declared fit all have really good fixtures this GW?

    2. Xenq
      • 10 Years
      10 years, 9 months ago

      Seems a bit risky. Zouma is no cert to play either, is he? There are other trades you might want to make next week and after anyway: Hazard out possibly if poor form continues, same for Gomez. KDB and Vardy look like better options to me right now. And then you have a lot of uncertainty in your defence. The Kolarov train could be about to derail. Even a player like Mahrez is one you'd be watching closely for the next couple weeks.

      Looks a bit optimistic to me to think that you're going to be swimming in FT any time soon so probably this week is best. Assuming of course you're not planning a GW11 WC or anything.

        Yeah Zouma is a risk. If the players in defence are not declared fit by the weekend I will certainly be taking the hits. I was planning on selling Aguero for Kane next GW when I seen he was injured and Gomis to Lukaku the following GW. This would all be for free and I am yet to take a hit this season. But then the injuries kept building up so..

    Do we think Allardyce can tighten up Sunderland at the back?

    Considering drafting a Sunderland defender for my Last Round pick in a draft game.

    Other options are Lescott(AVL), a Bournemouth defender, and Coloccini(NEW)

    You do get -0.5 for every goal cconceded though...

                    Yes we do. I have the upper hand by 4 points!

                    Gotta be serious. Deadly serious.

          I really don't know who to replace Kun with either.
          It really is a lottery. I feel like the choice you pick will have the same chances of performing well as all the other options.
          You might be right, this could be one of the most important transfers of the season.

      At 10.9 he is has to be (c) potential. I'd captain an off form Hazard instead.

      Solving injury woes with a perma-crock Sturridge seems counter-intuitive.

        That's what I was thinking

        Aswell for albrighton do u think Walcott will keep his place in the front line?

        Cheers BH. 1. I mean I know, but had to fight through for the good of the pod. 2. Alon doesn't post on here or read comments section...just uses the site for articles and members section.
