Cheese, I don't agree with that. He's their best striker atm which may pursue Pelle to save him for the CL match. He might be hauled off at 60 odd minutes. Moreover Nancho isn't eligible for CL, which means he's a bigger threat. However, if you feel confident go ahead. Could prove to be a good differential but feel others would be better!

How much stock do you put in ownership when it comes to transfers?
Going into GW8, Pelle's overall ownership was 16.2% and the top10k ownership was 45.8%.
As of right this moment, his ownership is 21.2% so I can only imagine how high it is in the top 10k now (we'll find out on Saturday).
Does the pressure of his ownership and the potential fall-out if he scores big and your replacement doesn't do as well push you to consider him that much more heavily? Or do you throw it to the wind and go with your gut? In the end points are points, but when more than half the people you're competing against hold a player, it feels risky.I don't pay attention to ownership at all EXCEPT for players likely to top the captain poll frequently.

I did it with Coutinho→Cabaye last weekI ignore it until GW30 onwards when rank actually matter, and bringing in a highly owned player can be a defensive move.
Other than that I see the high ownership of Martial as an opportunity to get a more explosive differential.

In my opinion it's just about points. Ownership works both ways- if he's doing badly then people are benefiting, if he's doing well then the other half are benefiting. Considering pelle and southamptons current form and fixtures, he is a no brainer for me. In this case the fact he is high ownership makes it even more worrying if you don't have him. If he had horrible fixtures then you might be thinking his ownership would be advantageous if there was a better alternative.

I don't really pay attention to ownership. I just try to get as many points as I can.
I am in the top 10k atm and will not get Pelle as the probability of me winning this game is negligible and Ranieri is a good tactician who has enough in his locker to stop Southampton.

That's the obvious pick, but there is something about Bertrand and Costa that keeps making me delay the move.
