We delve into the data this evening in our first members article of the week. Watford, Man City and Everton’s strikers arrive under analysis, whilst we also assess United and Newcastle’s attacks before casting an eye over a couple of defensive differentials from City and Liverpool.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

    Defence is:
    Myhill (Hennesssey)
    Bellerin Janmaat VVD Francis Mariappa

Obviously some big issues there with Mariappa not playing, Bellerin and Janmaat doubtful, and Myhill/Hennessey in danger of losing their spots. Should I get Moreno/United defender this week or just save?

Wait for news on the two injury doubts seeing as potential rises/drops don't look like they'll matter with the cash you've got. If at least one of them is ruled out then upgrade Mariappa I reckon

Who would you be looking at for Mariappa? Atm I can get Aguero in one transfer for Lukaka/Pelle, so I'm cautious about spreading too much funds in the defence.

    c) Tadic > Ozil

    d) Play Butland, Azpi and Tadicand save FT

It's a shame, a lot of fighters who stents the top top guys end up broken down both physically and monetarily, especially those who already had problems in life such as level. It's really sad to see especially when the owners and Dana White play around gambling with millions for fun while their fighters struggle to get by.

With Henn, you'll bench him a bit, with DDG hardly ever
With Ward it depends on other defenders whereas Rojo would play most weeks.

I use newsnow and then select whichever player you are interested, and read their most recent news, Google news is another alternative for those news that you can even find that are not so recent. I don't just read 1 or 2 news while researching players, nor bookmark any links. It is a challenge for me to show you the news that I have read. I only managed to find something similar but not from the original post:

            http://footballcolumnist.com/posts/welcome-to-old-trafford-united-to-complete-signing-of-6ft-1-star-in-january/

"Should United sign him, he will become a back-up for Marcos Rojo who appears to be the only left back at United at the moment."

It's a valid argument. If he is nailed, man Utd certainly gets a lot of clean sheets, and Rojo is an attacking defender. I wouldn't transfer Bellerin for around, but if on wc, and IF Rojo was nailed on, then it is a good alternative. One could get Kosc and Rojo. Nice.

The only way i see he rotates is if LVG decides PJ is the No.1 CB partner for smalling, and also Blind a better LB than Rojo

I'm of the view that he's pretty nailed.

He has been fit to play 4 games so far and has been selected for all 4.

      Subbed once, due to injury.

Always been a bit of a LVG favourite, and is actually playing well. Now he's definitely fit I think it's his spot to lose.

I will have both this week, so haven't considered seriously which is better value. But yeah, given the price point and the defensiveness of United it could be Rojo. Baps this week too

What would you prioritise this week given this is my team:

Zabaleta to Moreno or Arnautovic to Firmino

Bellerin, Azpili, Baines, Cedric is my defence.

He's an extremely flexible manager and plays to his opposition and who he has available, dont rule anything out. Sterling was still there or thereabouts in the box though Bony was definitely shooting more with 7 shots vs Sterlings 2. Sterling did create 5 chances in very good positions though.

    DDG Butland
Janmaat, Kolarov, VvD, Richards, Targett 😐

With Janmaat flagged, Kolarov a rotation risk, Richards shite fixture and flagged and Targett retired is it worth a hit to remove Richards or Targett? Could end up having to play Richards and they need to go anyway.

Slim pickings this week for teams with good fixtures. Richards to Smalling double up with DDG? or How about Targett to Bertie and double up on Soton?

    Any better ideas? Ta 🙂

Yeah they're both similar defences but one of each gives you more flexibility when Saints play City, Spurs and Arsenal in their next seven matches.

I would hold for now and reassess over the break, seems like you may be making a -4 for a defender, maybe play the AOA

For a long term option such as a United defender I think that's justifiable.

I have to say that I don't see Kolarov as a rotation risk for this week. Clichy hasn't played a single minute of football yet. I'd expect him to have a cameo or some u21 starts before starting a pl fixture

exactly.. will need a cheapie like him just to release some funds.. i got Simpson in for a hit last week for that exact reason i just new it would benefit me long term and he seems to be playing quite a bit too so thats fine..

    A) Schmeichel home for Watford
    B) Butland home for Chelsea

Groin injury. Not serious, but uncertain for Spurs. Could play. Seems "questionable" or even "probable" to use NFL terms (if only the EPL were required to list injury status like the NFL does....).

I wish I hadn't been short term punting in the run up to week 11. But by the time GW11 came I had no choice but have a clearout really so it was the right decision at the time.

I've definitely learnt not to set WC weeks in stone for the future.

Just a word of warning to people doing defensive housekeeping this week, remember there's an international break after this weekends games. Perhaps if you can get 11 men out you should think of saving your FT until after the break.

I'm feeling like possible taking a risk. With Silva and Aguero's imminent returns + KDB's stats are not great by any means, I don't think it's too bad of an idea to ditch the latter.

    Considering I have a 600k rank:

    A) KDB - Wij
FT - creates more money ITB for Kun's return

    B) KDB - Ozil
FT - creates less money but could be better value than Wij

    C) Save FT
2 FTs next week - what are you thinking Slamdog, just go with the grain Boi.

Team is linked so as you see, the rest is pretty template. Thoughts?

Thanks mate. I never considered him as an fpl option before but with his recent form and asenals upcoming fixtures im very tempted to do payet > ozil, even though I just got in payet last week. Double up is working well then?

well I have had Ozil from the start so he is starting to pay back my loyalty. I also only just got Sanchez in on a WC two weeks ago so Ozil has been the big performer out of the two for me of late, I assume this trade would be for free?

yes certainly for free. Was going to do dawson > vvd but then saw arsenals upcoming fixtures and an ozil transfer seemed much more appealing. Would be a little good differential in my ml as well. You think he will keep this form up?

I can only hope that he will and don't see why not although all hot streaks seem to come to an end eventually. On current form he would need a lengthy run of blanks for me to consider transferring him out that's for sure
