                        I also watched the whole match. City were indeed poor. Clichy was a liability and Swansea had far too much joy down the right. I'd be fairly confident of Kolarov being #1

              Watch the highlights from yesterday and you'll see him run last the United defence into the box and fire a shot saved well by DDG

              Admittedly he is less attacking than he was a few weeks ago. Just don't think he is a priority to sell since he should start every game over Xmas

            I've been meaning to sell Franny since the emergency but.. havent been able due to probs elsewhere.
            Have a couple of free transfers now without many issues elsewhere so think its the right time.

            Bournemouth had a couple of good results and maybe this makes a case for keeping alright.
            Just looking at options.
            If I move for Evans (better).. almost concerned I will have too any options plus...

    His scores against the "stronger" teams this season are:

    lei - 2
    MUN - 5
    mci - 2
    ARS - 2
    SOU - 2
    eve - 6

    Or should I just upgrade my 5th mid to a 7.5 (Barkley/Delf, Have no Everton cover) and bench him?

      He's great value, I reckon just upgrade your 5th mid.

      He's probably one of a few players likely to play every game over Xmas, and none of those 4 are bulletproof at the back.

      Watford have also improved a lot going forward since the start of the season.

          If you break it down though:

          Everton: Only played 17 mins.
          Southampton: 3rd game of the season where they were still barely attacking, unlike now.
          Man City: During the period where Man City weren't conceding any goals.
          MAn U: Had a great defensive record.

          So you're left with one disappointing blank against Leicester, and a game against Arsenal where they never stood a chance. 😉

          If you upgrade your 5th mid, you can bench him anyway, and I think 5.5m on a 12th player for Xmas is pretty reasonable anyway.

      I'm in the same position and I'm leaning towards upgrading the fifth.

      Tough opposition but three at home. His price is only going one way and id feel pretty good having him as first sub on the odd occasion.

    Would you:

      3/4 with good fixtures isn't too bad! I'd save personally, maybe play Kolarov over Bellerin for the attacking threat.

        I'd prefer to play Moreno, Toby and someone likely to keep a clean sheet. Can't see Leicester, Man City or Arsenal doing that. Can you?

          No, but on the other hand maybe saving would be better in the long term. It's a pretty strong back line you've got.

          Simpson could be upgraded, but I suppose it depends on how you want to use the funds in the future. Sanchez and Aguero are both due back next week, and you wouldn't want to unknowingly limit yourself with a defensive transfer for one week.
