    Who is coming in for you today and how are the monthly players doing so far.

    I'm 100th for December and just 25 pts off the £1,000 but with loans running out this week I'm not sure I'll go the distance. Been a good learning experience though to prepare for January onwards. Thanks again WR for pushing the monthly version - much more fun.

    General thoughts on which is the best strategy :

    1. Double up on WBA defence (Myhill owner).

    2. Get in a United defender.

      No, as he'll either play or not, so less risk of 1pt cameos (although that is always a slight worry). Best plan is have a good fourth mid. Ward is mine - he's good value. Have a look at the ticker - Palace have good fixtures over xmas - WBA too.

    Stanislas is not nailed on.

    Although he's in great form and unlikely to be dropped in the short term Pugh was ahead of him and is just back from injury.
    Think Pugh will play over xmas, exactly the time you'll need your fifth mid.

      Stanislas is one of those guys who will play until he's form dies down and he has 2/3 poor games in a row.. Good punt in the short/medium term. i still prefer Gosling though
