The Dugout Discussion – Sunday

Sunday’s bumper schedule continues apace as Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool play host to Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion, respectively. Spurs can extend their unbeaten streak to 15 matches at White Hart Lane, while the Reds are reeling after their 2-0 defeat to the Magpies.

Aside from Manchester United, Tottenham are the only other team that’s registered a loss at home. Furthermore, the Lilywhites chart joint-second for goals conceded (five) and fifth-bottom for big chances conceded (nine) in home fixtures. The North Londonders will fancy their chances of breaching a Toon defence that’s shipped the joint-most goals (30) and third-most shots inside the box (139) throughout the season.

Only three teams have mustered fewer home goals (eight) than Liverpool, so the Baggies’ regimented style could prove difficult for them to counter. On the other hand, the fact that the Merseysiders placed bottom for shots inside the box conceded (18) and fourth-bottom for big chances conceded (four) over the last four Gameweeks bodes well for their shut-out prospects. Adding weight to that argument, Tony Pulis’ charges rank bottom for attempts (136) and shots inside the box (80) this term.

KDB has to be the biggest frustation. He throws in a good performance every 3 weeks but he's a pain in the ass for 2 GW's otherwise.

Bony over lukaku is the one. Sold kdb instead of sanchez ..injuried on that very match and kdb exploded

2fts this week. One going to be used on vvd/Rojo to likely a Spurs defender. The other depends n hazard. Is it time to ditch KdB or Barkley or wait on both to get a huge, probably undeserved haul again in the near future?

2ft and hate to waste them but I am absolutely clueless as to how to use it.

    Courtois,Hennessey
    Toby,Moreno,Wollschield,Phil Jones,Bellerin
    Mahrez,Hazard,Coutinho,Barkely,KDB
    Giroud,Ighalo,Vardy

I would get Ozil in for hazard but everyone in my ML has him and I prefer differential. Also have 2.5 ITB
