Ashley Williams’ second league goal in the last four seasons hands Swansea a much-needed victory over Watford. The Hornets, meanwhile, fall to a fourth successive defeat as the goals continue to dry up for Odion Ighalo.

Williams wins it for Swans

In front of an audience that included their newly-installed head coach, Francesco Guidolin, Swansea City propelled themselves out of the relegation zone with an attritional 1-0 victory over Watford. Ashley Williams emerged as the match-winner with his first goal of the campaign, steering the Swans to just their second triumph in 12 league match-ups. The Wales international has now scooped 17 out of a maximum 18 bonus points during his side’s six clean sheets this term, cementing his status as their prime Fantasy asset at the back – encouragingly, four of those shut-outs have arrived in the six matches since Garry Monk’s departure. With Crystal Palace (five successive blanks) and West Bromwich Albion on the agenda over the next three Gameweeks (eve, wba, CRY), Williams could attract investment at the 4.8 mark.

Ki Sung-yueng delivered attacking returns for just the second time this term with the assist for William’s goal. The ex-Celtic recruit proved to be a profitable differential in the budget bracket last season – notching eight goals and one assist – but has mustered just five shots on target in 20 appearances this time around. Andre Ayew (7% ownership) remains the most popular route into Swansea’s midfield, but Gylfi Sigurdsson (two goals in three, penalty duties) has arguably edged ahead of the Ghanaian winger in that internal duel. Ayew retained a role up front last night but with Guidolin set to have the final say in team matters, it remains to be seen whether he’ll tinker with Curtis’ tactics.

Watford’s slump continues

Watford slumped to their fourth consecutive defeat last night and are now winless in five matches. The Hornets have suffered from a major drop in form of their strike duo, Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney, who’ve mustered just four shots on target between them over the last four Gameweeks. Although the former’s 40% ownership will certainly be weighing up their options in the wake of three successive blanks, Watford’s back-to-back home clashes (NEW, CHE) could serve as a catalyst for the 6.4-priced frontman, who had previously scored in six straight league outings prior to the goals drying up.

None of these are particularly attractive B at a push but surely there's better options?
why would you ditch Alli or Kun now? I'd want both Payet and Kun if i could

    Thoughts on current plan?:
    1) This week Cresswell > Baines
    2) Next week Arnau > Dembele (if I want a cheap differential), or Alli (if I don't)
    3) ???
    4) Profit!

    Butland / Myhill
    Bellerin / Toby / Cresswell / Nyom / Wolly
    KDB / Ozil / Payet / Mahrez / Arnau
    Aguero / Lukaka / Ighalo

I like Baines, but I wouldn't get rid of Cresswell just yet (4 good fixtures in the next 5). If anything I would get rid of Nyom, who's facing two tough fixtures after this GW.

When you go to table mountain, walk up - don't get the cable car.

Drive past the cable car and keep going for a while, then the road bends around to the right. Park up and you can start your hike up the mountain - takes 90 mins if you're fit and is much nicer.

Have done it three times - has been wonderful every time.

There's been muggings in London. I don't avoid that!

                  haha - fair point.

I'd never discourage someone from doing that. It's a totally different experience to travelling up in the cable car (boring!).

Robben Island is worth a trip just to understand the scale of what went on.

I personally am not a fan of the Waterfront because it's treble the price - taking advantage of tourists too scared to venture out, when really there's plenty of nice, safe places.

Would second the recommendation for wine tasting - you can do that specialising with cheese, or chocolate etc. so choose carefully!

If you drive, it's cheap as chips.

The costs come in if you pay to go on an excursion or pay for a private driver.

                Vineyards are such beautiful places.

Ok, then this is the place to go to. It's in Campsbay.

You basically go up to the display and hand pick what you want them to prepare, and how much of it. They weigh food and you get charged accordingly. They also have a sushi belt.

                One small tip.

Some places you park, kids will say they'll look after your car.

Tell them if the car is undamaged when you get back you'll pay them.

Then give them 5-10 rand when you get back.

They're harmless really, and it's a bit of fun.

Give the markets a go and haggle. Start really low. I mean really, really low!

I have some beautiful paintings from there, mounted onto canvas when I got home.

                    One other tip.

Don't get in the minibuses that are constantly tooting their horn and looking to pick up passengers.

They're used by locals at the poorer end of the scale.

But generally the biggest tip is to enjoy it.

It's a safe place, and the people are lovely.

Ha. I used to do that in Kenya when I was 18. So naive but that's the thing, I absolutely loved sitting there with the locals. I still remember half of them in utter shock seeing a little white boy jump on a toot toot all by himself.

In my opinion, yes. You'll pass other people doing the same thing.

Of course, bad things can happen in most places. I wouldn't say you're more at risk on Table Mountain, personally.

Take one or two bottles of water.

It's not that hard but it'll be warm and there are some really steep bits.

Get the cable car down after enjoying the peaceful view away from the top of the cable car bit!

Got caught at work so am re-posting this!

    Struggling with this one:

A - Kane to Lukaku for free (leaves Aguero and Vardy)

    B - Mahrez + Vardy to Stanislas + Lukaku for -4

C - Something else (KDB out instead of Mahrez, maybe)

    Thanks

Mirallas is so tempting right now on every front: price, low ownership, form, fixtures, potential DGW and so on.. Problem is squad rotation.

2 wide positions, 6 options: Deulofeu Lennon, Mirallas, Arouna Kone, Pienaar and Osman

Got a feeling Martinez will give him a chance to prove himself though. Alternatively he could be out the door by the end of the month!

Everton won 6 games in 22 matches in the league. Yet see a lot of people considering triple Everton this weekend. Not saying it isn't a good idea, but amazing how Fantasy can often warp your thinking a bit.
