Team Ratings is a weekly article analysing the home and away stats of teams in the Premier League and their home and away form. The statistics used to measure this form is taken from the last four home/away games. Fantasy managers can use the data found in the tables, alongside the season ticker, to pick out the teams who face the best fixtures ahead.

The best and worst performing teams in each column of data are coloured green to red. These five tables look in detail at home attack and defence, away attack and defence and finally how they match up in the Gameweek ahead. In the Fixtures table, the ratings on the left are based solely on that team’s home stats and the ratings on the right are based solely on that team’s away stats.

Thanks for this. Hard to look past Man City or Spurs options this week in terms of attacking returns.

AC Milan releases Nigel De Jong for free.

For all his awful antics, he was an excellent DM in his day, and a missing piece in the City midfield puzzle for years now.

Without him there to clean up Yaya's messes, Mancini wouldn't have come close to winning the league.

I'm surprised Spurs defence in their away fixture is listed as STRONG considering out of the 11 away games they have played in EPL this season, they have only recorded 2 clean sheets. Moreover, Norwich have only failed to score once in their 11 league games at home this season.

I was too. But then I noticed the workings are based on goals conceded.

On that principle, why are Chelsea is listed as Strong, when they have shipped 16 goals in their 11 away games this season.

Dunno, could ask for clarifications on the workings from Sarj, recent form is very good for Chelsea but ?I am not sure how it figures in the numbers.

It's based on the last 4 home and away games, not on eleven.

It's based on home/away for the whole season and recent form (last four matches home/away).

Three or more greens/reds = very strong/very poor.
      Two greens/reds = strong/poor.
      The others = ok.

The reason they're both classed as strong is because it takes into account both goals conceded and clean sheets. Tottenham are strong because they don't conceded many goals, so you wouldn't particularly want your attacking players to play against them because they won't have a high points ceiling, unless it's an Agüero/Sanchez type of player.

Great job as usual. Norwich is much stronger at home than I would expect. Kind of helps to get a visit from Liverpool 😛
