Arsenal will be looking for revenge this evening as they host a Southampton side that put four goals past them at St Mary’s on Boxing Day. City and Tottenham both face away trips to bottom-four sides Sunderland and Norwich – encouragingly, they defeated their respective opponents by three-goal margins in the reverse fixtures earlier this season. Table-toppers Leicester’s match with Liverpool should also be a compelling clash – the Reds were victorious in their last encounter but the Foxes have built up some resilience in recent weeks.
Wednesday’s pair of matches finishes off the Gameweek. Everton will be expecting another victory over Newcastle, given that the Toffees have prevailed in five of their last six league matches. Meanwhile, Chelsea will travel to Watford having scored five goals in the FA Cup at the weekend – the Blues are unbeaten in seven while the Hornets picked up back-to-back wins by dispatching Nottingham Forest to join the Fifth Round pot.
If you are unfamiliar with FantasyBet it is particularly accessible for those who play Fantasy Premier League, as it uses a similar scoring and pricing system.

KEY PICKS
Kasper Schmeichel: Claudio Ranieri appears to have focused on defensive solidity of late and the Foxes keeper has been crucial to that plan. Schmeichel has registered an average of 3.2 saves per appearance during a five-match run that has seen his side concede just once ahead of this evening’s King Power clash with Liverpool.
Aaron Creswell: Coincidentally, the left-back’s last attacking returns arrived against upcoming opponents Aston Villa on Boxing Day, netting a goal just before the interval in a 1-1 stalemate. Cresswell – who also has three assists and eight bonus points to his name – will be optimistic of defensive points against an attack with just three goals in their last six road trips.
Alexis Sanchez: The Arsenal attacker looks in line for a first league start since Gameweek 14 as Southampton roll up to the Emirates tonight. Sanchez provided an assist and the winning goal in the FA Cup encounter with Burnley and will be a pivotal figure in the Gunners’ push for the title.
Harry Kane: Tottenham’s top scorer arrives at Norwich on the back of successive strikes in the last couple of Gameweeks. Handed a late substitute appearance in the FA Cup win over Colchester, Kane should be fully refreshed to face a Canaries side that he’s also scored twice again this season.
THIS WEEKS GAME PICKS
As always the best place to start if you’re new to FantasyBet are the free-rolls – there is a £50 pot available for this Gameweek in both the standard and flash formats.
There’s a Double-Up game for £3.30 entry with a guaranteed prize pool of £120 and also FantasyBet’s biggest game, the Grand Midweek, where your compete for a £1000 guaranteed prize pool on a £5.50 buy-in. Multiple entries are possible in both and they cover all ten fixtures for this midweek slate.
LAST WEEK
I head into this the midweek matches on the back of some success, after the team from last week’s article delivered a first-placed finish from 247 participants in the Free-roll.
I also earned returns from the double-up and the Scout Picks league, leaving me on £167.57. There was no such luck in the big pot, though – SuperJamesy took the top spot with 93 points, captaining Odion Ighalo for a 24-point haul proved a canny decision.
THIS WEEK’S STAKE
I will enter the Double-Up, the Grand contest, the free-rolls and the FFScout Picks League for the mid-week fixtures for a total outlay of £9.90.
In addition, I’ll be going up against Doosra, the Community champion in this week’s Scout Picks. He will be taking me on in a specially set up head to head game for a chance to win free entry into a £500 Guaranteed ‘Big Weekly’ game worth £22. Also the eligible Community Champion who beats the Scout Picks by the highest margin every month will win a free entry into the £600 guaranteed ‘Boss’ game worth £55.
FFSCOUT PICKS LEAGUE
SuperSaiyyan topped last week’s Scout’s Picks League – Roberto Firmino, Dele Alli, Sergio Aguero and Odion Ighalo all scored 12 points or more to provide a total of 98 points.
Once again, FantasyBet have provided a £100 pot for the FFScout Picks League. I will enter our Scout Picks as closely as possible, given a 15-man squad is required with the 100m budget and a captain also needs to be selected.
Feel free to go up against them this week and pick your own squad on FantasyBet.
