          Eriksen's doing well. Alli terrific value and in great form but since you have Eriksen I'd hold, Spurs triple up in attack is a little overboard imo. Eriksen should at least match Alli, even if he is a couple mill more expensive

          Plus wouldn't want to lose Payet either

          I also had Ozil since GW1 but took him out for Sanchez from GW 8-12. Reversed it and don't plan on making the same mistake again

      Harry Kane without a shadow of doubt.. Brought him in GW9 a week before his hat trick at Bournemouth when he was off form and had very low ownership and has produced the goods pretty much ever since..

    So, in continuation to my yesterday's rambling on big money moves to China of top league players in their peak age, now it's Jackson Martinez. Yes, he's flopped at Atletico, yes, he was mightily overrated at his Porto time, but regardless, just 7 months ago a big European club paid €35M for him.

    That Atletico can still make profit on Martinez after paying such a silly money for him may only have been possible because of the rise of the Chinese league. I always wondered why they paid that much for a player who ultimately was not their style and was at the end of his peak years.

      Shots on target are all but one (Giroud's quite beautiful shot from nearby the box border at 47 minutes, which was a little bit central too) quite central, I didn't see the match but in highlights too the shots are mostly quite saveable, even if some came for really close range there were 4 rather tough ones where Forster really saved his team. So, some poor finishing, but that Forster managed to pull that save each time (and that they had that one shot in 6-yard box that was going in the near corner of the goal and that other shot that was already past the GK blocked) is still tough luck.

      Much unimpressive, although a couple of shots from good positions blocked that of course could have gone better with a bit of luck. The match highlights affirm that all but 1 (the one-on-one that Mané completely missed) were from poor positions and none trouble the GK at all.

      In sum, Arsenal fans shouting Wenger out after such a match are quite silly. There's not much he can do about his players failing to capitalise such chances.
