As many of you know the ICC T20 World Cup Fantasy Game has started and so that we do not disturb our fellow Fantasy Football Scout posters let’s keep all the discuss over here.

How to Play

The schedule is divided into four phases. The phase details are listed below:

    Nothing in the rules about abandoned matches counting/not counting. A bit disappointing.

        Quite happy with how many I have left considering how many I'm carrying for various games in general though.

            I actually wasted 3 transfers today sadly. At least Tamim paid off. Used 1 transfer to get up to 2 Oman players for the early game but once cancelled, I shipped them both out. So the 7 others remained untouched

        Great stuff. Massive number of transfers. I can't help but feel like you've been a bit miserly with them. You must have had very few players in some games

    Points counted! Doesn't make sense for me as officially there was no game.

    Game rank of over 90 000! At least that lets us know roughly how many players there are.

      It does actually make sense.

      The performances of the players count towards their career statistics, and it's them we are selecting.

      Hardly a satisfactory day, but it's consistent with the distinction between the way cricket records individual and team stats from abandoned games.

        There is a rain forecast for Sunday as well so the final 2 games can be washed out.I think am going to load up on players from tomorrow's matches and just save 3-4 transfers for the last day.

      Ouch you would have done well today. I only have 12 transfers remaining and I'm more or less set for the next game so I'm thinking 3 per game and load up on the final one.

            Tomorrow's matches are being played in Nagpur so those matches will go ahead but the ones on Sunday are going to be played at the same venue(dharamsala) so anything can happen.

    You both seem to have good knowledge about cricket along with many others...so
    Why don't one of you write a new community article about phase 2 and about the players we should look at (everyone here in this article can give their opinions and we can put it in 1 article) based on Warm Up matches and Stats...?

            What about strategy, how to use transfers and wilcards. Would it be a good idea to get 11 players for first game and then transfer players in for other games gradually for example? How much do we factor in weather forecast, toss when deciding on platers/captain?

            I'm just putting these out there. Maybe a community discussion would be better for these?

            An outline of players woud be great menphis, thanks!

    I've currently got:
    4 Zim
    3 Afghan
    1 HK
    1 Ned
    2 Ire
    12 transfers left

    Which means I plan on doing:
    - Zim vs Afghan: no more transfers, 7 players
    - HK vs Scotland: 3 transfers, 4 players
    - Ned vs Ire: depending an weather 0-1 transfer, 3-4 players
    - Bangladash vs Oman: 4-5 transfers, 4-5 players
    - Ind vs NZ : 4 transfers, 4 players

    I just wanted to outline my plan for some clarity. What do you all think?

      I've just checked, did everyone know that we had wildcards between phases? I certainly didn't! That means we can afford to be less frivolous with our transfers.

      Sounds good, but your transfers are taken away before Ind vs NZ and you get 20 for the first 10 games of the super 10, with unlimited transfers in between.
