Ryan Shawcross and Xherdan Shaqiri are ruled out of Stoke’s clash with Watford. Everton’s Bryan Oviedo remains a doubt, Watford top scorer Odion Ighalo is set for a late assessment, whilst Andre Ayew is sidelined for Swansea’s home match against Villa.

Bryan Oviedo remains a doubt for Everton’s clash with Arsenal, with Roberto Martinez admitting that the Costa Rican has “lost a considerable amount of weight” from a recent chest infection. Gareth Barry serves the first of a two-match suspension for the Toffees after being sent off against Chelsea last weekend, whilst Kevin Mirallas sits out the second of his own two-match ban.

Mathieu Flamini has been ruled out of Arsenal’s trip to Everton with the knock that forced him off against Barcelona in midweek.

Villa’s Carlos Sanchez has stepped up his recovery from a hamstring problem and “should” be available for the trip to Swansea. Remi Garde is hopeful that both Jack Grealish and Adama Traore could return in time to face Chelsea in Gameweek 32.

Sunderland’s new signing Emmanuel Eboue has picked up a hamstring problem and joins Duncan Watmore on the sidelines ahead of the Tyne-Wear derby. Jermain Defoe has been suffering from a calf complaint but will return to full training today.

Ryan Shawcross has been ruled out of Stoke’s trip to Watford due to a back problem. Xherdan Shaqiri is also missing after picking up a thigh complaint, though Mark Hughes reckons both will be back in contention after the international break. Erik Pieters has failed to train all week and remains doubtful, though Phil Bardsley is back in contention after recovering from a calf problem.

Alan Pardew is optimistic that Mile Jedinak will recover from a back problem in time to face Leicester. Connor Wickham remains sidelined with a thigh problem.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe will make a late decision on Harry Arter’s fitness as the midfielder continues to nurse an Achilles complaint. Junior Stanislas remains on the sidelines for the trip to Tottenham.

James Morrison remains sidelined for West Brom, Tony Pulis has confirmed. The Baggies boss also conceded that they have “one or two knocks” ahead of Norwich’s visit tomorrow.

James Collins and James Tomkins are still unavailable for West Ham’s trip to Stamford Bridge, though Winston Reid is back in contention after being forced off with cramp last weekend. The on-loan Victor Moses cannot play against his parent club.

Quique Sanchez Flores will make a late check on the availability of Odion Ighalo, who was subbed off with a muscle problem last weekend. Miguel Britos remains a doubt with a calf complaint, whilst Joel Ekstrand is unlikely to be available for the visit of Stoke.

Ander Herrera missed United’s cup clash with Liverpool last night with a minor groin problem.

Eric Dier and Ben Davies are both doubts for Tottenham’s clash with Bournemouth. The latter was forced off against Dortmund following a collision with keeper Hugo Lloris, whilst Dier picked up a knock towards the end of the 2-1 home loss.

Andy King is doubtful for Leicester’s clash with Palace due to the illness that caused him to miss out against Newcastle on Monday.

Andre Ayew misses Swansea’s home encounter against Villa due to an ankle problem, though Jefferson Montero is available after recovering from illness.

Nathan Redmond is ruled out of Norwich’s clash against West Brom due to the ankle injury sustained against City last Saturday lunchtime.

I think my favourite GWs of the season are the couple before a WC. All of the maverick moves made with none of the down side.
Welcome to the team sheet Sanchez and rondon.

Just played around with a City-less DGW34 team. Do we need to cover two away fixtures really? If I bin Kun I can keep Sanchez who play's twice at home...

This team is 13 DGW34 players, cash ITB for Martial>Kane to get 10 out hit-free GW35 and still have Leic cover...

    DDG/ELLIOTT

    BELLERIN DAWSON FLANNAGAN NYOM Simpson

    OZIL SANCHEZ FIRMINO PAYET Mahrez

    LUKAKU MARTIAL RASHFORD

I think Agüero is pretty much essential over the double. He's still the best player in the game and Newcastle and Chelsea aren't convincing in defence.

Rooney will probably be back, so that's a no for Rashford, and Flannagan is an odd choice.

This is surely why double gamesweeks create panic.

Even with the "good" fixtures I would rather have Kane that plays once than BOTH Martial and Rashford put together

          • 11 Years
          10 years, 26 days ago

Im all for a budget defence, owned CBJ for a while and he seems to have been dropped completely whether due to performance or injury. Will probably come on for minutes at the end of each game.

Gabriel could be great if he plays for both.

Saylor will be dropped once their key defenders come back from injury.

I just think in a DGW when you are playing BB you will want to reap the rewards from 120mins minimum per player

How much does your OR influence how you manage your team? Wondering about the effect of chips on how aggressively or conservatively people have played this season.

For example, seems like many have worse rankings than in past seasons, leading to risk taking in order to make up ground. How much of a poor OR is due to holding unused chips, though? If you could count on unused chips jumping you past say two thirds of those in front of you, would you have managed your team differently?

Fair enough. Hope you're in the money this year.

Did your ML opponents, mates use their chips early? If that put you behind, did you get aggressive to catch up or play your game knowing you had chips in hand?

I play very agressive when outside the top 500k until i reach the top 50k. Then i shut down and usually have 2ft at all times. Ive been lucky this year and hung around 15-40k so ive been playing very conservatively. No punts, no hits (one all season) no wild captain choices. Saving the chips for the dgw and wc for gw33.

Well done! Looks like your season OR hasn't been affected by others using chips. Or at least not too much.

I know, I kind of want to as well and either get Sanchez or possibly Firminio..may just save it...he did get a rest and recollection tells me he did well after resting, but I have not firm stats to prove that theory 🙂

Is it worth a hit to get another dgw player. .ie Erikson out for firmino? Or Alli for Wijnaldum?
    If yes which switch ?

Some uncertainty, understandably, about Liverpool players availability, given the Europa League fixtures being so close to the DGW 34.
All the more reason perhaps to pick Skrtel then? As he will be back, fit and fresh?

Klopp is at the press conference wearing a Beatles top ahahahaha. That's a wonderfully blatant way to ingratiate yourself with the locals.

As much as it pains me to say it, I think he's a wonderful manager and will be a huge success.

Don't get me wrong, I'm an enormous Beatles fan (and am from Liverpool), but I've never seen a manager rock up in a band t-shirt before.

He probably founf no Liverpool based heavy metal band. Has to consult somebody on that, but probably won't find the chap amongst his players.
