Fresh from a morale-boosting win over Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-finals, Everton return to Premier League action with a home tie against Arsenal. The Gunners arrive at Goodison Park in dreadful form, having tasted victory just once in their last eight outings.

Looking at their previous four matches, Everton ranked joint-third for goals (eight), second for attempts (72) and top for big chances (16), underlining their recent potency in the final third. Moreover, only Manchester City have accrued more home goals (39) than the Toffees (29) throughout the campaign. On the flip side, no team at home has conceded more goals (26) or recorded fewer clean sheets (two).

In their previous quartet of league encounters, Arsenal fared pretty well on the attacking front, notching seven goals and placing top for shots inside the box (49). The Gunners’ defence failed to hold up their end of the bargain, though, shipping the fourth-most goals (eight) and third-most big chances (nine). As for their away form, the North Londoners rank second for goals (27), big chances (35) and shots on target (74), further diminishing Everton’s clean-sheet potential.

      Maybe Barkley too.

If Sakho performs today I might go with Toure and Sakho instead of Antonio and Lukaku, terrible fixtures for Big Rom

It's fine to resist expensive offers for Stones from other clubs but you then have to do something with the player and get to the next level. Now they have neither the talent nor the sale money.
