Kompany to Bellerin and Siggy to Payet no brainer for free tonight ?

I wouldn't be in a hurry to do both transfers - International games, and 2 weeks till next Prem fixtures, so things could change.
Wouldn't be so worried about the odd 0.1 at this stage of the season

The more I look at it the more I think a GW36 wildcard & 37 bench boost is the choice

    - Liverpool, Everton, Watford, Palace, City and West Brom all losing. United and Newcastle looking terrible. Not keen on having most of my squad filled with these players for 5 gameweeks
    - Blanks in GW35 as well as some horrible GW33 fixtures for doublers, while also losing Leicester, Southampton and Bournemouth assets who have nice 33 & 35 fixtures, plus Kane in all likelihood.
    - Potential rests for Watford, Palace and Everton players are ahead of the Wembley semis

Then for a GW36 wildcard you get
    - Watford, Everton, Liverpool and West Ham doublers with nice 36 fixtures
    - Dump Leicesters, Soton and Spurs ahead of their tough final 3 matches, with one drawback of losing Arsenal players before Norwich at home.

I agree with all that but I don't think I'll have enough DGW players without a WC for GW34.

Personally I believe WC 33, BB 34 and TC 37 is the best way, but who knows which one of us right

beauty of FPL, no right way to play it, it's your team, go with what you think is best

Arsenal is the biggest problem with the WC36 BB37 option. How can you deal with their 'NOR mci AVL' fixtures? I'd want 3 Arsenal players for Norwich and Villa but no Arsenal palyers for City away in GW37...

Have you seen City's record v the top teams?

        it's awful

I'd happily carry Sanchez and one of my Arsenal defenders into that GW, but given it's the DGW I'd also be quite happy benching them.

      2. GuyIncognito
        • 16 Years

Considering City's record against the top sides I'm not sure that's a terrible fixture. We've seen them get destroyed by Leicester, Liverpool and Spurs.

That's the annoying part alright. Though assuming you have expensive guys like Ozil, Sanchez and Bellerin you may have to sacrifice them to get in big players ahead of the 37 double anyway

        • 12 Years
        10 years, 3 months ago

use Arsenal SGWers as part of the BB?

        1. Smarty Pants
          • 16 Years
          10 years, 3 months ago

This doesn't sound like an optimal way to use the BB especially given the amount of cash that they'll eat. Imagine you were told before the season that you'll spend your bench boost chip so that you can play 3 players vs City away 😀
I think I'd ideally bench Bellerin for GW37, play Sanchez/Ozil and sell Ozil/Sanchez for GW37 and then bring the sold one back for Villa.

            • 12 Years
            10 years, 3 months ago

Imagine telling me at the start of the season that Riyad Mahrez would be a runaway star that would be on course to make the all time FPL XI 😛

I'm looking at owning Bellerin/Ozil/Sanchez in 36, doing Bellerin -> Azpi/Brana for 37 then either getting Bellerin back in or getting a Kane/Alli in for Newcastle or getting a 3rd gooner back in.

The more I look at potential WC teams the more I wonder is it crazy to ditch the likes of Kane, Alli, Toby, Fuchs etc for unreliable loose cannons from Everton, Liverpool, etc? Is anyone actually getting 15 DGWers to use their BB chip with?

well costa is out, and oscar is in and out of side, so decent chance he's on them having scored his last (same goes for free kick). he might not play of course, hence it'd be a punt i suppose. traore might be better shout tho if confident of a start

Think I will be using my 2 FTs on Kompany to Ivan and Eriksen to Fabregas. Will be WCing after in prep for BB with 15 DGW players.

If I do then I would need to bench one of Alli/Siggy. Probably bench Siggy.

Did silva to Payet for one transfer.

Got another before I WC for next GW.

Considering Chelsea Defence or a midfield. More defence though at the moment.

My defence is looking shaky this GW, but so is Chelsea's so not sure, but it is Villa I guess

That's the thing with me too. Defence isn't fantastic so it's either Chelsea defence or Arsenal defence.

            My defence atm is:

            Butland Hennessey
            Alderweireld Fuchs Williams Bertrand Targett.

Not top notch that's for sure. Considering taking out Bertrand.

    DGW34 - more points A or B?

    A - SANCHEZ

    B - DE GEA - RIED - SAKHO - LINGARD

A is if I save WC and use TC chip and B if I use WC and BB chip.

Too risky to have all Monreal, Gabriel and Rojo for WC?

I don't think it's that risky. Gabriel for example is only 4.3m. I would much rather have him than a Newcastle or West Brom defender. I can't imagine they would get more than one cleanie at most.

Pull the trigger on Siggy->Payet tonight? 2FTs, midfield is Ozil, Arnie, Alli, Siggy, Mahrez

bringing in Payet (or anyone) this early is foolish no? Payet has 2 games for France before next gw

I don't think so. The European teams will have 'stroll around, try not to get injured' games. It's the South Americans we need to worry about.

Not sure what my next move is...any thoughts?

    Fabianski
    Bellerin VVD Toby Dawson
    Ozil Siggy (VC) Payet Mahrez
    Aguero (C) Vardy

    Lukaku, Daniels, Alli

Any idea on strategy to share please.

My ML leader still have WC, TC, AOA but have already used BB, how could I take advantage from having BB?

A: WC early and BB on DGW34, then TC on DGW37

B: Use 4 FT to get 9 DGWs and TC on GW34, then BB later on DGW37

Not that I wish a long recovery from injury on anyone, but Caballero will be a decent pick if he plays through gw35. I'm all set on DDG for the dgw, but who to pair him with is a challenge. Hart or Cech are too expensive, Elliot has a terrible gw35 fixture, and most of the other dgw keepers have a blank gw35. Caballero could be the answer.
