After assessing the Defence and Midfield numbers over the last four matches, we turn our attentions to up front this evening. A number of double Gameweek options arrive under analysis, including Everton, City and Newcastle’s main men, whilst we also compare Arsenal and United’s strikers and doff our cap to Tottenham’s man of the moment after a series of scintillating displays.

I've had double Leicester defence for weeks now with Simpson and Fuchs but have benched Simpson for many of the clean sheets Leicester have had.

Now I'm thinking of benching Williams (sto) for Simpson which would mean double Leicester defence this week, I can't help but feel that this will be the week the conceade to screw me over. Southampton have looked like improving too.

They might concede, no way of knowing. I do know you should play Simpson over Williams though

Pelle was amazing for Southampton against us. He's a big boost for them. I'd play Williams. He gets so many bonus pts.

    Evening lads, ignoring gw33 where I will have a couple of Palace place holders in place, what's the best 13.2 max combo to fit the last 2 places on my wildcard here;

    Robles Elliot
    Smalling Otamendi Belllerin Sakho Ake
    Sanchez Ozil Firmino Payet ***
    Aguero Lukaku ***

A: Rashord Coutinho (This is my current favourite)
B: Mitrovic Milner (boring but safe(ish)
C: Martial Antonio (looks good at first sight but gw35 problematic)
    D: Suggest other (13.2 max)

      Willian / Oscar / Pedro
      Remy

Thing is, I don't thibk there are very many nailed on players that'll play majority minutes in all the doubles. There will be a lot of rotation

      Bellerin
      Smalling
      Kosc?
Both probably safe, but it's a minefield elsewhere

    Pick one strategy :

    A. Safe : Kane + Mahrez + Simpson + Barkley
Can have full 11 for GW35 using 2FT and no hits

    B. Risk : Sanchez + Bolasie + Dann + Deeney
Can have full 11 for GW35 only if I take a -8 hit

I suspect both Leicester and Spurs will both drop points this weekend. I'm actually quite confident Southampton will beat Leicester (Thought Koeman had a good measure of them when he was on MNF for the Lei vs New game). Expect Arsenal to be right back in the title race by the end of the weekend.

Whether this helps or hinders their fantasy assets - we don't know

“It’s really big for us. We let him come in this morning, training light – no real challenges, he could pass a few balls and things like this,” Klopp began.

“But it was really good and he felt absolutely nothing, so from tomorrow he is completely back in the race, which is very important for us.

“Roberto Firmino is in a good way and Lucas [Leiva] is in a good way here. Joe Gomez and Danny Ings can work really hard and use the time here.

“It’s good for all. We are close together and it’s a nice camp, to be honest. It’s really good, a lot of swimmers around us! The best swimmers of Germany I saw here.

Would go Robles over Elliot, since he has a dgw in both gw33 and 34
Defence looks good, although Smalling --> Rojo if you need the cash
Front 8 looks good as well besides both Alli and Mahrez, not a fan either, would go with just 1 of them + Firmino/Sanchez (prob too expensive)

The wildcard is a chip . The bench boost is a chip . You can't play two chips in the one week . It makes no sense to bench boost and then wildcard . Everyone is going to play their wildcard after the gw 32 deadline and before gw 33 . Everyone will then play their bench boost after the gw 33 deadline and before the gw 34 deadline .

I was explaining how people on here are using the wildcard and the bench boost rather than encouraging a strategy if you get me . I merely used 33 and 34 because that is my plan I don't have the t.v to wait and I have two expensive goalies Courtois and Fabianski so I am in no position to wait .

all great choices..........agueros form worries me, but then hes the kind of player who can randomly pull a 5er out of no where

payet and arnie are good punts too

I'm going with Willian, he's cheaper

Price aside, do you think Willian is a better pick? I know he's been the form man this season but is he not more of a rotation threat the less Chelsea have to play for?

Better option in your opinion for GW33 onwards?

    A. Mahrez - sun, WHM, SWA, mun, EVE, che

    B. Barkley - wat/cpl, SOT/liv,____, BOU, lei/sun, NOR

Bought Mahrez back late so both worth 7.1. My OR is around 24k.

      Is Lennon also an option?

He could be but as he's not nailed surely Barkley is the better option no?

Lennon seems nailed as well, but not sure, I'm going with him considering he and Lukaku seem to be the only ones scoring

In a single GW he would be but Everton have so many wide options he's unlikely to start both games IMO and not enough upside to take the punt.

Two doubles in a row suggests Barkley, but I wouldn't like to not own Mahrez in 35 for example. No way you can have both?

    My favourite Sanchez WC:

    Robles, Elliot,
    Monreal, Rojo, Simpson, Sakho, Souare
    Firmino, Ozil, Sanchez, Coutinho, Mahrez,
    Aguero, Lukaku, Martial,

Don't like Monreal or Rojo. Maybe Firmino/Cout > Lanzini (as you've got no Payet) and upgrade to Kosc, Smalling and Fuchs.

Happy with Robles & Elliot to see you to the end of the season?

I think Monreal is as nailed on as Kosc - He actually has the most minutes of any Arsenal defenders this term. I dont mind Robles and Elliot - they will get save points and a few clean sheets and it helps with my attacking options.

Rojo will have to do, because Smalling and De Gea are out of budget. I also think that Rojo has the best goal threat of the United defenders in FPL.

I decided against Payet, but might change my mind. My logic is that Arsenal at home and Leicester away are not great fixtures whilst he has a blank in 36. Watford also defend well and I dont see alot of goals in that one.

On the other hand, Liverpool's run of Stoke (H), Bournemouth (A), Everton (H) and Newcastle (H) is very tempting.

My main issue is whether to go with or without Sanchez.

if i can manage to have this team below by gw34 with a single hit which also make me play gw35 with all 11 players. should i postpone my wc and bb till the last dgw?? does that seem the right choice?

    mignolet hennessey
    bellerin sakho/moreno delaney (daniels targett)
    barkley ozil sanchez mahrez (stans)
    augero lukaku kaney

BB gives you an extra 2 defenders. ARS & MUN have better CS prospects in 34 than 37 which is why I'm going WC33 BB34 TC37. Also, lineups face more rotation risk in 37 for teams still in the cup/Europa and those who have nothing to play for

Am I right in thinking that even with the DGWs Ward is still a worse option than Simpson?

Correct. The days of Wardinho are passed 🙁
