Toby Alderweireld recovers from a stomach bug in time for Tottenham’s trip to Anfield. Arsenal’s Petr Cech remains a doubt, James Tomkins returns for West Ham, whilst Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino is still struggling with a hamstring problem.

Toby Alderweireld has fully recovered from the illness that forced him to miss out for Belgium in midweek. Mauricio Pochettino also revealed that Jan Vertonghen is “very, very close” to being available, whilst Erik Lamela –who picked up a knock during the break – will be assessed once he arrives back from a long-haul flight.

Yohan Cabaye, Mile Jedinak and Emmanuel Adebayor are all doubts for Palace’s trip to Upton Park. Connor Wickham looks set to miss out again but could be in contention for next week, according to Alan Pardew.

Aston Villa caretaker boss Erik Black has revealed that the club are currently conducting an internal investigation. Whilst this is underway, Gabby Agbonlahor won’t be available for selection.

Younes Kaboul, Wahbi Khazri and Lamine Kone are all fit for Sunderland’s home clash with West Brom. Billy Jones is doubtful due to a minor knock, whilst DeAndre Yedlin will be assessed after arriving back late from international duties.

Reports in the local press suggest that Roberto Firmino remains a big doubt due to a hamstring problem, with the Brazilian again failing to train yesterday. Christian Benteke also missed out, though Divock Origi and Philippe Coutinho both took part in the session, with the latter showing no ill-effects from a long-haul flight back fro South America.

Andre Ayew misses out once again as Swansea make their way to the Britannia. Jefferson Montero and Modou Barrow will be assessed after long-hauls flights back from international duties but are expected to be available.

Eddie Howe is optimistic on Josh King and Harry Arter’s fitness after both pulled out of international duties over the last fortnight.

Petr Cech remains uncertain to return in time for Arsenal’s home clash with Watford, though the keeper is back in training today. Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini remain sidelined, though both have a chance of returning next weekend, according to Arsene Wenger.

James Tomkins is available for West Ham’s home encounter with Palace. James Collins and Sam Byram are both “progressing well”, according to Slaven Bilic, but remain sidelined for the weekend.

John Stones has shrugged off a knock in time for Everton’s trip to Old Trafford on Sunday. Roberto Martinez has also revealed that Bryan Oviedo is available after recovering from a chest infection, whilst Kevin Mirallas is also back in the fold after serving a two-match ban.

    Getting there...

    A: Fuchs, Monreal, Lennon
    or
    B: Coleman, Koscielny, Lingard?

B.. can you stretch it to Lanzini?

Monreal and Gabriel are fairly identical in terms of nailed on-ness imo.

Huth (SOU), Bellerin (WAT),Tody (liv), Williams (stk), vvd (lei)

    2.7m ITB, WC next GW

I was planning VVD to Ivanovic, but are VVD to Cresswell or Foster to Coutrois better options given that experimentation was mentioned in the Chelsea presser ?

I'd love your thoughts here......(WC next week)

Is it a no brainier that I use my 2FT to ditch Hart or McCarthy and Williams or Alderweireld to bring in Courtois and Bellerin to field AOA?

    Courtois
    Bellerin Fuchs
    Alli Arnautovic Payet Mahrez Siggy
    Vardy Kane Aguero

    (Hart/McCarthy Alderweireld/Williams Smith Jagielka)

Should I take a hit to bring in Ozil or Sanchez?

Howdy Guys, a long time lurker here but I've been pulling my hair out trying to come up with my WC team (familiar story) so need help. Got it in my head I simply must have a double up on UTD's defence = probably Smalling & de Gea and 3 Arsenal in Ozil/Sanchez/Bellerín. Means I'll have to miss out on Payet most likely and have a cheapo 3rd striker, none of which really stand out. I've done many combos

    Like this one:
    Darlow/de Gea
    Bellerin/Sahko/Fuchs/Nyom/Smalling
    Mahrez/Ozil/Sanchez/Firmino (if fit) Antonio
    Lukaku/Deeny/Kun

What are the chances of Rashford actually remaining in the team for UTD? that would help. Rooney will be back, is it worth the gamble and it's a big one. I'm currently in the lead in my two ML's, one by 4 points only.... Scary!!!!

Cheers Joe, bought Payet this week for Siggy. That in itself gives me a selection headache

        Silva/Arnautovic/That Man Payet/Alli/Mahrez

It's almost like I did it on purpose lol.. Currently have Alli as the odd man out

Got to be honest, if there's only four points ahead putting Sánchez is a huge risk. If you replaced him with Payet you could upgrade Antonio or Deeny. Unless he had both and your trying to take a punt to open the gap between each other? Do you know if your friends used any chips or wild card?

Bottomed, time to get the Nasri bandwagon rolling.

    6.7m
He is ineligible for the PSG games which should boost his minutes.
In the three away games he played this season he got a goal and assist.
    Announced as fit by Pellers.
Blue Moon Fan Forum seemingly desperate to have him back in the XI

    I'm be monitoring his minutes but I think he's a shoo-in for DGW34

PELLEGRINI: The five players who have injuries are Hart, Kompany, Yaya Toure, Sterling and Fabian Delph. Everyone else is fit. #afcbvcity

PELLEGRINI: Sterling has a muscle injury and is out for four or five weeks. Toure has a problem with his heel. #afcbvcity

PELLEGRINI: I’m not 100% sure but I think it will be difficult for Joe or Yaya to play against PSG. #MCFC

PELLEGRINI: Kevin De Bruyne worked the whole week with no problem - of course he has been out for a while. Same with Samir Nasri. #afcbvcity

I just don't trust Everton at the back, be relying on those attacking returns and he ain't cheap. In saying that, can't argue with two double GW's on the bounce.

I was planning on a no hit strategy but now going aggresive with a few hits planned but means i get 5 DGW for 33 and 14 for 34 and 11 for 35.. the hit is to basically have a bolasie and dann for 33 (risky but can pay off).

WC Team: (with DGW in mind):

    Mignolet (Ruddy)
Bellerin - Fuchs - Martin (Smalling, Sakho)
    Mahrez - Coutinho - Alli - Payet (C) (Barkley)
    Vardy - Kane - Lukaku

Plan is bring in Sanchez and Ighalo or Mata for DGW 34. Leaving 10 starters for gw35 and a fair few DGW 37 still.

Should I make room for Aguero? Would mean dropping Vardy and taking a real budget (non-player) 5th mid.

My rivals currently have him.. And I'm chasing.

Ok, going away from all the wild card question to focus on this game week. Who are people replacing Butland with? I currently have Fabianski on the bench and will be wild carding next week...

    A. Courtois
    B. Adrian

    C. Get Bellerin in for Alderweirde (who's recovered from illness) and Courtois for -4. I am 60 points ahead of my mini league rival... Might throw him off wild card the following week.

    Current team looks like this

    But/Fab
    Fuchs/Daniel/Alderweirde/Williams/Ivanovic
    Payet/Ozil/Alli/Mahrez/Sigersson
    Kane/Agüreo/Vardy

After a fairly quiet start at Pool(no goals or assists or CS's in the first 6 games) Milner has averaged nearly 5 points a game ie 86 points in 18 games and scored 5 goals and 7 assists. Now on penalties too. I'm getting very tempted
