In their quest to beat to the drop, Sunderland will attempt to de-rail Leicester City’s formidable title charge at the Stadium of Light. The Black Cats lost just one of their last seven match-ups, while the Foxes are on a six-match unbeaten streak.

Although Sunderland ranked third for attempts (64) and seventh for shots inside the box (34) across their previous seven outings, they suffered from the third-worst shot-conversion rate (6.3%). The Wearsiders have lacked an attacking spark at home all season, placing fifth-bottom for goals (17), joint-second-bottom for shots inside the box (99) and bottom for big chances (11). That being said, Sunderland have conceded the joint-sixth-fewest goals in home matches (16).

Owing to Leicester’s supreme defensive effort of late, they’ve been able to register five 1-0 wins in their last six fixtures. Aside from notching four cleans sheets in as many matches, the East Midlanders’ rearguard restricted their opponents to the joint-fifth-fewest big chances (three) during that stretch. It’s worth noting, however, that only three sides have allowed more shots inside the box in away ties (151) than Leicester.

So Vardy was SGW player to stay, not Mahrez or Kane

This is an absolute nightmare.. What's the point in putting forth any effort into this game. Getting absolutely drubbed by my casual ML rival this week. And the way this bench boost is shaping up, looks hardly worth me having shredded my team apart

Biggest BS ever. This is how we are rewarded with being patient with the WC.

Those who didn't have their WC just got lucky.

i was angry , then i saw that kid run on to the pitch and hug Vardy, and it reminded me of what they are doing and how great football is.

A small consolation but I feel a bit better

omg not only did my team last week (non WC team) get more points than my wc this week and my team from last week still has toby, ali and kane to play

but now I see that my wc team that has darmian, sakho and coutinho in could be a real mess, also throw into the mix I also have Gabriel who could be dropped..

I really don't like wildcards as they always unbalance my team

Coutinho started, Firmino was given a short run out. Was obvious in hindsight that would be swapped around for the League today.

Well the DGW isn't over yet and Everton, Liv and Palace have more to come.

But seeing Vardy, Siggy, Williams, Ozil - Ward even - rake in the points is painful, that's fo sho.

Anyone want to give a prediction of how many spots I will drop without any Leicester-players? Fml. Was climbing the last weeks to top 30k, now all the work has been undone.
