Chaps...anyone willing to advise on who to prioritise removing this week?...looking to bench boost...

    Team is

    Robles darlow
    Bellerin sakho Gabriel Simpson Delaney
    Sanchez payet lanzini kdb coutinho
    Kun lukaku martial

Things that spring to mind are...

A...Gabriel and coutinho to smalling and iwobi / alli

B...delaney and coutinho to smalling and alli / iwobi

    Any advice?....thanks

Do you really believe that Coutinho won't be playing the DGW, or is this a knee jerk?

I think he will play full game v Dortmund...and then klopp will field second string for game at Bournemouth....just a couple of days before merseyside derby.....

        Don't u think that's likely?

        1. V-2 Schneiderlin

Coutino could end up playing 1.5 games whereas Alli only has one game

If they lose to Dortmund, they will NEED 5th place and will field a strong team against Bournemouth. That's more likely.

Lukaku hat trick on Wednesday won't make much difference to your OR unless you've TC him. Over 70% have captained him, and any rank you gain on none captained, will be offset against TC'ers.

Fosu-Mensah was fantastic yesterday until he was forced off, but with LVG you never know he makes some odd tactical decisions so even if he was fit it's hard to predict his minutes. But if I was looking for next best after Smalling it would probably be him

Sorry to everyone who wildcarded last week. I've only been slightly burned - took out Siggy for Barkley and triple capped lukaku. It's a light singe really.

Wildcarding this week is tricky - suddenly nobody is comfortable with the obvious Everton or Liverpool picks, and taking out Spurs players for any DGWs looks like bigger and bigger folly. Interesting week this week.

Lukaku is totally forgiveable. I think you'd have to be mad to not, but you're right, and that much of a group of very inexperienced players was blinded by the staggeringly obvious.

Nothing whatsoever to play for in the league
        Huge FA Cup game
        spineless
        can't defend
        out of form
approaching the Euro's an lots of internationals

        expect more of the same

Surley you cant wildcard this week???
Cant play BB plus you have to negotiate 2 dgw's and blanks.. next week or week after not better

You can play a WC this week if you've already used your bench boost though. The only thing I had to think about was TC, and the fixtures in 33 and 37 looked better for that. So WC this week looks fine for my team at least - and I have a transfer strategy that gets me through both dews and the blank just fine (barring injuries of course 😉

I think the WC this week was a fine strategy. What was considered far too risky to contemplate was the option of WCing to a team without Aguero, implying that bringing in Gabriel, Darmien, Sahko, Everton defenders etc etc was lower risk. That's what i'd consider to be a lapse in common sense. Keeping the form/season-high-scoring players or dropping Aguero in exchange for someone like Sturridge and quality, guaranteed DGW starters throughout both ooked viable

Will be watching how that develops with interest. I went for it and have Cech, Smalling, Bellerin Dann, the usual suspects up front and a simple swap for Alder, Alli, Kane for a -4 for GW35

2 free transfers for next week, current team:

    Hennessey
    Bellerín, Dawson, Fuchs
    Payet, Özil, Firmino, Mahrez
    Äguero, Kane, Lukaku

    Lloris, Alli, Daniels, Bertrand

Wildcarding Gw 36 so looking for transfers to improve scores for next 2 weeks only. Also do you think i need to get Sanchez for tripple captain or is Özil or even Agüero (if city gets knocked out of Europe) good enough alternatives?

    a) Mahrez+ Kane --> Sanchez+ Mitrovic, (tripple captain Sanchez)
    b) Alli+Daniels --> Iwobi+ Smalling (tripple captain Özil / Agüero)
    c) other suggestions?

Im wildcarding GW36 too. my punty pick in 35 is Lukaku out for Pelle. Looking at your team I would maybe get rid of Hennessey for another DGW keeper. Cant see him getting many points next week even though he has done great so far this week lol

Me to, downgrade Hart to get Sanchez and Coutinho rather than Milner and Ozil, Hopefully Sanchez captain in DGW will come good.

Fosu-Mensah look immense. Is his injury serious or cautionary? I have Darmian for the doubles but will get rid if he's not now guaranteed a start.

Fellow GW36 wildcarders talk to me what's the plane for this DGW the blank..

How many DGW's are you playing this week

    also

How many polayer will you have without transfers the following GW

    1. Suarezista
      • 11 Years
      9 years, 8 months ago

9 or 10 DGWers (depending if I play Hennesey or Schmeichel)
10 players without a transfer for GW35, 1 FT to make them 11.

OK one final set of questions.

Cech: Is Ospina now likely to be dropped?
Sakho: Just rested for the Europa?
Coutinho: Will he be back for the weekend?
Robles: Is it ROB-LEZ, or ROW-BLEZ?

    Thanks

This look good enough for the 34 DGW without using WC? Is it worth a hit to do Fabianski -> Mignolet and play him over Hennessey or just stick with Hennessey?

    Hennessey*
    Smalling* - Bellerin* - Cresswell*
Ozil* - Sanchez* (TripleC) - Lennon* - Mahrez
    Aguero* - Lukaku* - Vardy

    Fabianski - Alli - Simpson - VVD
