Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

How does this look for next week for a hit? Wildcarding GW36. Really want Sturridge for next week but it'll require a -8. There's also uncertainty regarding the team lineup right now.

    Lloris
    Bellerin van Dijk Williams Fuchs
    Sanchez Ozil Alli
    Aguero (C) Kane (v) Pelle

Bench: Dawson, Lanzini (!), Payet (!), McCarthy (!)

    GW35 dilemma

    Darlow - Robles*
    Clyne - Sakho - Gabriel - Simpson - Delaney*
    Coutinho - Sanchez - Ozil - Lanzini* - Payet*
    Aguero - Kane(C) - Martial*

    A) Delaney > Rose
    B) Take a -4 since one of the 11 is bound to be rotated

I feel extremely upset and terrible.

Due to heavy family and company commitments, I had forgotten to make transfers and switch my captaincies. I have so much preparation for this DGW but it all ended in tears. My captain armband is stuck with Lukaku while VC is on Jagielka. And no bench boost... no transfers... Sigh...

I could only have myself to blame.

Just remember folks a -4 hit isn't a -4 hit if you're not fielding XI ... it's really only -2 with the potential for more.

    Take. More. Hits.

yeah provided the players u swap out dont have DGW 37 and the player u swap in preferably have DGW37.

thats how i view a transfer of delaney->PVA for -4..effectively u do not lose any point at the end assuming PVA got 2 points each for the extra games

Well yeah.. but if youre swapping them out again (for a hit) later on, it's effectively -8pts (or 6 by your logic, because of the 2 points for just playing)

On a broader level ... Klopp is just awesome, he's such an intelligent and measured person ... hard not to love him, regardless of your thoughts on Liverpool. A lot of managers could watch and learn ... he's the first to praise the opposition in defeat, and the first to praise the players when they win.

How many games Vardy will be out? 1 or 2? (Not considering if they EPL give him extra games)

Vardy's suspension means I'll have to take a hit to field 11 players next week. I'm gunna WC in GW 36 so the players I transfer in will be a one week punt.
    Here's my team (£0 itb):
    Forster
    Alderweireld, Gabriel, Fuchs
Mahrez, Siggy, Sanchez (c), Ozil (v)
    Martial, Aguero, Vardy
    Hennessey; Olsson, Payet, Jagielka

    What should I do?
    A. Martial & Vardy -> Sturridge & Ulloa
    B. Jagielka & Vardy -> Pelle & Morgan
    C. Something else (I don't want to sell Payet because I'd lose £0.5m when I buy him back on my WC)

Hang on - there's a dgw in 37 which you have completely forgotten about.

Pretty sure he knows. GW35 transfer has no effect on WC.

Did you think that I'd be WCing in GW 36 without the DGW in mind?

Lol, I can assure that I have not forgotten about the DGW in GW 37. I'm going to wildcard in GW 36 and Bench Boost in GW 37.

Ok, now we've got that sorted... which transfers would you make? I'm thinking Sturridge & Ulloa - is Sturridge a nailed on starter now?

Maybe yes, maybe no. Please do A--makes your team look more like mine, reduces the chance that you'll overtake me. 🙂

Btw, is this your spreadsheet? If so, smashing, absolutely smashing.

It feels really weird to have 15 players (potentially) left to play this week inc Aguero captain and already be on 96 pts. For the nightmare season i'm having, this week has kind of been alright 🙂 .....
not looking forward to GW 35 though ðŸ™

Very much so, I need to take 1 hit to field 11 but that 11 will have 3 Pool players & 2 city who could all be rested prior to European games midweek

You got a brill score. Hope the week continues for you. Remember everyone is in the same boat with pool and city we just don't know. Me thinks it will be worse than this week for rotation. You have planned can't do anymore than that.

      41 points with a -8 to take.

Lukaku didn't play, Mignolet didn't play, Martial (c) failed miserably.

Personally have gone for Defoe as i think Sunderland will scrap out well to avoid relegation. Their fixtures aren't bad, DGW in 37 and Defoe has smacked 13 goals this year so he's capable against anyone.
