Liverpool’s Divock Origi is set to miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury. Jose Fonte and Victor Wanyama have been passed fit for Southampton’s trip to Villa, Xherdan Shaqiri is ruled out of Stoke’s visit to City, whilst Chris Smalling has overcome a knock in time for United’s FA Cup semi-final with Everton.

Reports in the local press suggest the Divock Origi is ruled out for the season with the ankle injury sustained against Everton in midweek. The Liverpool striker will undergo further scans today to ascertain the likely length of absence.

Eddie Howe has confirmed that Harry Arter and Adam Smith will remain sidelined for the visit of Chelsea. The Bournemouth boss also indicated he will continue to ease Callum Wilson back into action after the striker was afforded a couple of sub appearances following his return from injury.

Jose Fonte and Victor Wanyama are available for Southampton’s trip to Villa after recovering from the knocks that forced both off in last week’s draw at Everton. Ronald Koeman has also confirmed that Charlie Austin remains unavailable though is close to returning from a knee problem.

Chris Smalling has shrugged off a knock picked up against Palace on Wednesday night and is available for United’s FA Cup semi-final against Everton. Adnan Januzaj remains unavailable due to a lack of match fitness.

Xherdan Shaqiri is ruled out of Stoke’s trip to the Etihad with the hamstring injury that forced him off during Monday’s loss at Spurs. Mark Hughes has revealed that Shay Given is likely to keep his place in goal, though Marc Wilson, Glen Johnson and Jon Walters are still sidelined.

Ramiro Funes Mori serves the first of a three-match ban for Everton’s FA Cup semi-final encounter against Man United. Earlier this morning, Roberto Martinez also confirmed that Gareth Barry, Phil Jagielka and John Stones are set for late assessments, though Seamus Coleman has failed to recover from a hamstring complaint.

Kieran Gibbs is a doubt for Arsenal’s trip to Sunderland after missing last night’s win over West Brom with a minor back problem.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

    On -8 after Martial Smalling Delaney > Kane Dier Simpson

    No keeper (ddg robles)
    Bellerin Dier Sakho Simpson (Gabriel)
    Sanchez KdB Coutinho (payet lanzini)
    Aguero Kane Mitrovic

    Good to go, or worth another hit for Mitrovic > Defoe?

    Martial, KDB, Delaney > Kane, Alli, Rose (-4)

    That would mean keeping Lukaku which I'm happy with. If they are out of the FA Cup I can see them bouncing back in the League and those fixtures are superb.

    A) Coutinho --> Mane
    B) Lukaku --> Pelle

    (Already took -4 for Kane so this would mean -8)

    Mignolet (Robles)
    Smalling, Sakho, Rose, Bellerin (Gabriel)
    Alli, DeBruyne, Sanchez, Coutinho** (Lanzini**)
    Aguero, Kane (Lukaku**)

          Gabriel will come off the bench anyway if Coutinho doesn't play, and if Gabriel does. I guess we all have a risk or two in our teams.

    Team could be in shambles this GW according to Team News.

    Darlow (Robles*)
    Bellerin/Clyne/Fuchs (Smalling*/Delaney*)
    Sanchez/Iwobi/KDB/Coutinho (Lennon*)
    Mitrovic/Kun/Carroll

    A] Mitro & Coutinho/KDB --> Kane & Alli
    B] Mitro & Smalling --> Kane & PVA
    C] Lennon & Delaney --> Alli & Rose/Dier
    D] Any other?

    All for -4

      I'd go C personally, although i think Kane is pretty essential.
      How about a -8 for Lennon, Delaney, Mitro --> Alli, Rose, Kane?
      If possible i'd see the hits paying off.

    Here's my team with Martial to Kane done - http://imgur.com/86613Lu

    What's the best way to make £1.2m?

    The options that straight away stand out are Coutinho to Alli or Smalling to Rose/PvA. I'm kind of like to keep Smalling for the double though whereas Coutinho frees up a Liverpool spot for Sturridge.

    Ideally keeping Coutinho would be nice too in case he does play Newcastle, although he'll give me another headache in GW36.

    I'm open to -4 or -8

          How does Smalling look good for the DGW?

          Both away games, where ManU can't defend.. both against teams fighting for A) survival and B) highest ever finish(and scoring goals)

              17 clean sheets this season is enough reason to keep Smalling.

              Smalling isn't goal threat but Darmian managed to score and assist last gw. Smalling could do the same 😉

                  Even if they don't keep cs in both games Smalling will still get 4 points for just showing up. Worst case is 2 pointter.

      Smalling out imo.

      Sturridge not as attractive anymore with Origi out and Liverpool needing a striker for Europa. Unless you think he'll play Sturridge in every game, which I personally doubt, or Firmino will be the Europa striker, which would be a big statement from Klopp...

    Hey Guys,

    What are your thoughts on the following? Will it guide me to my mini league title?

    I'm 23 points ahead of my mini league title contender who currently fields the following with just his benchboost chip remaining:

    de Gea, Robles
    Smalling, Moreno, Koscielny, Toby, Morgan
    Siggy, Payet, Iwobi, Sanchez, Mahrez
    Origi, Aguero, Vardy

    My current squad, lying in 6632 place overall, is as follows:

    Robles, Darlow
    Belerin, Gabriel, Sakho, Smalling, Foso-Mensah
    Sanchez, Coutinho, Firminio, KDB, Lanzini
    Aguero, Martial, Mitrovic

    I plan to play my Triple Captain chip in DGW37.

    Taking into account cup rotations and my lessons learnt from DGW35, I plan to trim my rotation risk for a -12pt hit leaving me with £0.8m ITB as follows:

    Martial > Kane
    KDB > Alli
    Fosu-Mensah > Alderweireld
    Mitrovic > Defoe (to facilitate buying Alderweireld even though I would bench Defoe this GW versus Arsenal)

    Alternatives would include possibly Carroll, Deeney, Ighalo, Van Aanolt, Cresswell. I defo want Payet next Gameweek.

    My team for this would therefore be:

    Darlow
    Bellerin, Gabriel, Alderweireld, Sakho
    Sanchez, Coutinho, Firminio, Alli
    Aguero, Kane

    Bench: Robles, Smalling, Lanzini, Defoe

    How does all this look?

    Last GW rank was 145k now 61k. Prior to the DGWs my target was to get into the top 100k having started in the 3 millions at the beginning of the season. The doubles have been a game changer.

    FFS = legendary. You guys = legendary.

    We all know Everton have regressed. But we all know football is random, if they're knocked out of the FA Cup they could easily bounce back, and there remaining fixtures are superb.

    Staw poll, Lukaku, please shout your answer!:
    Aye for sellers;
    Nah for keepers.

    Has Marcin Wasilewski's contribution to Leicesters season been underestimated?
