Liverpool’s Divock Origi is set to miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury. Jose Fonte and Victor Wanyama have been passed fit for Southampton’s trip to Villa, Xherdan Shaqiri is ruled out of Stoke’s visit to City, whilst Chris Smalling has overcome a knock in time for United’s FA Cup semi-final with Everton.

Reports in the local press suggest the Divock Origi is ruled out for the season with the ankle injury sustained against Everton in midweek. The Liverpool striker will undergo further scans today to ascertain the likely length of absence.

Eddie Howe has confirmed that Harry Arter and Adam Smith will remain sidelined for the visit of Chelsea. The Bournemouth boss also indicated he will continue to ease Callum Wilson back into action after the striker was afforded a couple of sub appearances following his return from injury.

Jose Fonte and Victor Wanyama are available for Southampton’s trip to Villa after recovering from the knocks that forced both off in last week’s draw at Everton. Ronald Koeman has also confirmed that Charlie Austin remains unavailable though is close to returning from a knee problem.

Chris Smalling has shrugged off a knock picked up against Palace on Wednesday night and is available for United’s FA Cup semi-final against Everton. Adnan Januzaj remains unavailable due to a lack of match fitness.

Xherdan Shaqiri is ruled out of Stoke’s trip to the Etihad with the hamstring injury that forced him off during Monday’s loss at Spurs. Mark Hughes has revealed that Shay Given is likely to keep his place in goal, though Marc Wilson, Glen Johnson and Jon Walters are still sidelined.

Ramiro Funes Mori serves the first of a three-match ban for Everton’s FA Cup semi-final encounter against Man United. Earlier this morning, Roberto Martinez also confirmed that Gareth Barry, Phil Jagielka and John Stones are set for late assessments, though Seamus Coleman has failed to recover from a hamstring complaint.

Kieran Gibbs is a doubt for Arsenal’s trip to Sunderland after missing last night’s win over West Brom with a minor back problem.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Lukaku does't want to play for Everton next season. He wants to play in Champs league. They're in terrible from, the way I see it, he's basically given up now

With 8 double gameweek teams, I'd suggest covering each defence bar Chelsea.

      Gomes, Ruddy
      Smalling, Jagielka, Sakho, Reid, Kirchoff

Looks sick, doesn't break the bank, and looks strong in each of the 3 gameweeks.

I did it and brought in Alli. Even if Coutinho starts (unlikely though) I doubt he'll get more points than Delle vs. WBA.
And above all - with Alli I'll have guaranteed starter for the rest of the season, while with Couts - a rotation imminent.

which option for my 2 FTs:

    A. DDG + Lanzini ➡ Mannone & Alli
    or
    B. Robles + Coutinho ➡ Lloris & Alli

    or

    C. just DDG ➡ Lloris and keep Robles as my DGW37 keeper and both Lanzini & Coutinho also with a DGW37 (on paper at least).

Hey guys! So, 4 more GW's to go and I'm top most of my leagues except for a couple. There's this guy who's 51 points ahead of me, my arch nemesis. We have similar teams so I've listed the below players which are different.

    Me:
    DDG, Robles
    Fuchs
    Coutinho
    Martial

    Him:
    Mignolet, Darlow
    Ogbonna
    Alli
    Kane

He's used all his chips but i still have my Triple captain chip so i'm hoping i can still catch him. I need to take a 4 point hit this week just to field 11 (Not counting my risky players like Gabriel, Sakho etc) But he's in the same boat with those risky players.

It's time to go for some risks? Would like Kane but think i need someone different, maybe Pelle. Any advice for catching a lead?

I'm leading my ML by 40 points, but need to take a couple of hits to adjust my team. Team right now (* means no game, ? means might be rested, rotated)

    DDG* - Robles*
    Simpson - Bellerin - Gabriel? - Sakho? - Fosu-Mensah*
    Sanchez - KDB? - Coutinho? - Payet* - Lanzini*
    Aguero - Mitrovic? - Martial*

    So the plan is:
    Mitrovic -> Kane
    Martial -> Defoe
    Lanzini > Alli

... for -8. Then bench one defender so I have a buffer in case some of the players get rotated.

Or is that overkill? Should I assume all of Sakho, KDB and Coutinho plays, save 4 points and have exactly 10 outfield players with a game?

Really sad to see Wild Rover pack up the game....as well as the many others who have quietly done so this season...

For many players the OR game is quite frustrating and destructive to enjoying both real life footy and Fantasy football. I recognised that for myself a few years ago and so set out to deliberately play a game that does away with OR and just concentrates on a nice little family mini league. In that league i take a hit a week (38 hits for the season) and pit my wits against my brother and two sons...who also take plenty of hits It's great.

I still enjoy picking the flops for the post match banter as well as the highs of the good picks..either one is great for adding to the general experience of football. It also suits me because I like to change my team a lot...so the hits stay as part of "my game"...regardless of what it does to my OR.

As always i'll invite anybody frustrated with the OR game to join me in a "hit a week, every week" league next season...it'll return the fun to your game instead of reaching for the "delete" button.

      Great post!

If my cash leagues stop next year, I could be tempted into joining such a league. Its never bewen about OR for me always the MLs

Our picks at home usually go like this...

        "Who's on telly on Sunday"
        "Liverpool vs WBA"
"I'll get Firmino then, who will you get?"
        "Coutinho and Milner"
        "Brill....I'll get the beers"

That's about as complicated as it gets.
