Craig Dawson scores at both ends of the pitch as West Brom all but end Tottenham’s title tilt. Christian Eriksen picks up the points yet again, though Dele Alli could be in hot water after an apparent off-the-ball incident with Claudio Yacob was missed by the referee. Elsewhere, Jamie Vardy’s ban will be extended by one match ahead of Leicester’s vital trip to Old Trafford.

Spurs title bid almost over

Tottenham Hotspur’s slim title hopes all but ended following a 1-1 victory at White Hart Lane, ensuring that Leicester City require a solitary victory to lift the Premier League crown.

Christian Eriksen provided the assist for the Craig Dawson own goal that opened the scoring, meaning that he now delivered attacking returns (one goal, five assists) in his last six starts. The Dane is now up to third in the FPL midfield standing on 170 points to team-mate Dele Alli’s 166, though the latter’s 34% owners will be bracing themselves after he appeared to throw a punch at the Baggies’ Claudio Yacob. Given that the referee failed to see the incident, Alli could face a retrospective violent conduct charge by the FA, potentially resulting in a three-match suspension that would rule him out for the rest of the season.

Harry Kane, meanwhile, spurned a golden opportunity in the first period but proved largely ineffectual for the remainder of the encounter. Nonetheless, the 10.4-priced marksman has netted 14 goals in 18 London derbies during his fledgling career, which paints a positive picture ahead of the Lilywhites’ trip to Chelsea next Monday night.

Eric Dier was withdrawn 15 minutes from time after complaining about dizziness. Given how crucial the enforcer is to Tottenham’s defensive resolve, his potential absence would force us to reassess their clean sheet prospects at Stamford Bridge.

Dawson salvages point for Baggies

Tony Pulis’ side arrested a run of three successive defeats with a hard-fought draw against the North Londoners.

The Baggies were without Ben Foster and Sadio Berahino for the trip to White Hart Lane after both were ruled out with ankle problems.

Craig Dawson atoned for his early own goal with a headed leveler, courtesy of a Craig Gardener assist at the opposite end. The 5.1-priced right-back ranks joint-second among all defenders for goals (four) this term but – like the rest of his teammates – is unlikely to attract investment in appreciation of West Brom’s challenging schedule (WHU, bou, LIV).

Vardy Banned for United Clash

Earlier this morning, the FA confirmed that Jamie Vardy has been handed a one-match suspension on the grounds of improper conduct following his dismissal against West Ham United.

Having sat out the weekend win over Swansea, the Leicester forward attended a personal hearing yesterday but his attempt to avoid an extra ban has failed. Given that he will now be available for the Gameweek 37 home encounter against Everton, thus handing him just two more matches before the season ends, many of his 37% owners may look to cut ties at a time where eight sides play four times in the final three rounds of fixtures.

Leonardo Ulloa is likely to shrug off the minor back problem that forced him off against the Swans on Sunday to lead the line at Vardy’s expense. Given that the Argentine netted twice in the 4-0 win, Claudio Ranieri may well retain an unchanged lineup as Leicester go to Old Trafford looking to clinch the title.

With Everton being so bad, does no one think that Lukaku could be dropped this week? Would do no harm especially after paying that money for Niasse

Didn't know Clyne had an illness and is flagged.

    1) Should I:
    a) start Clyne in the hope he plays
    b) start Gabriel in the hope he plays
    c) start Alderwierald

    2) From my midfield of Sanchez, Hazard, Payet, Lanzini and Alli, I am thinking of benching Alli.

if clyne is not fit because is ill, he won't just comeup from the bench. So if you have cover, start him, there's not risk he gets 10 mins I think
Same for Gabriel. He's not one of those players that comes off the bench for 5 mins unlike Zabaleta or kolarov for instance. So start him and hope

I'm thinking of getting Ighalo/Deeney or maybe Defoe in light of the double starting this GW as he's likely to rested for soton.

Other strikers are Martial and Carroll and both have a double.

Can anyone enlighten me on whether or not I can do this bet for the bet365 city v real game 50 euro on City/draw @ 4/7 then the second the game starts but my 50 euro free bet on Real to win, if city win or its a draw it returns 78, if real win it'd return roughly 100 depending on their odds at the time. Minimum guaranteed profit of 28 euro. Can i do this or does it somehow breach the offer?

I've used this method several times in the past and never had my account restricted, I also spoke to them on live chat once and they said it's fine. They may have since changed the T&C's but I'm sure nothing will happen, thousands of people do it this way.

I'm going for over 0.5 goals pre match then backing a correct score or first goalscorer at sometime

Put 50 on over .5 goals. Put €5 on 0-0 with a different bookie covers ur first 50. Then u have a free 50 in play on whatever u want, correct score or goal scorers are good value

A penalty taking reliable midfielder is always an ok punt for FPL purposes. Might not be explosive, but will get returns from time to time in an attacking team. Same as Milner who in fact was more attacking in previous seasons.
I might get Noble for the DGW. 😉

He also has a fantastic shot on him. Doesn't take too many, but rarely off-target as far as I can recall on eye test.

Oh, yes. I would get a very serious shock indeed if he were dropped.

Our overall passing is nowhere near good enough to withstand such a move.

So what risk free Bet365 be you guys going for?

I won £400 from De Bruyne first goalscorer a few weeks ago... may go for the same thing again!

Can't see past a Madrid victory however...

£50 on over 0.5 goals (lay the bet on another site if you're worried)

£50 in-play on De Bruyne once the match started.

bet £50 before the match and get your first £50 in-play bet refunded (as cash) if it loses.

What to do with this lot?

    Robles
    Bellerin / Monreal / Simpson
    Alli / Coutiniho / Mahrez/ Sanchez
    Aguero / Kane / Pelle

    Ming / Sakho / Fosu / Lanzini

Was planning to do Cou to Payet this week and play 3-5-2 with Kane and Kun, then do Pelle to Defoe next week and possibly Sakho to PvA or Cresswell. If Alli gets suspended I'd play Lanzini, not sure I need to take a hit this week.

If Alli gets suspended is it worth taking a hit to get Milner in for DG37? It would be a -8

    Question,

If you play AOA-card and it happends to be that you have midfielders benched/injured. Will the lineup be "locked" to 2 defenders? So that your bench defenders won't be able to fill the 3rd, 4th or 5th slot?
