The new Premier League champions return to home soil for their coronation as Everton pay a visit. The Foxes are unbeaten in 10 match-ups but might lack a psychological edge following their title triumph, while the Toffees snapped a seven-match winless streak with a victory over Bournemouth last Gameweek.

Leicester’s attack has excelled across their previous four outings, recording nine goals and two more big chances (12) than any other team. Furthermore, only two clubs (Manchester City and Southampton) boast a superior shot-conversion rate (13.1%) in home clashes than the Foxes. Although Claudio Ranieri’s squad have conceded just three goals in four fixtures, the fact they’ve allowed the sixth-most shots inside the box (35) offers some hope to the visitors.

The Toffees are in desperate need of an attacking spark, given that they placed joint-fourth-bottom for goals (three), bottom for attempts (31), bottom for shots inside the box (14) and joint-second-bottom for big chances (two) across their previous quartet of encounters. It’s worth noting, however, that Everton chart joint-third for big chances (39) and joint-fourth-bottom for goals conceded in road ties (19), illuminating their decent away form.

which is why we all went Payet or Caroll .....

I think had I been chasing I would have made the gamble. Played "safe" instead.

Carroll over Vardy is looking like a mistake. Had a good season, but could've been great if I just trusted my own judgement more.

My judgement was that Vardy could have a good week. Reading stuff on here and elsewhere about Carroll's past performances vs Swans and my own observations that Swansea were not gonna play Williams or, to a lesser extent, Siggy swayed it. I'm not blaming other people for that in the same way that I'm not giving away all credit for having a decent FF season. I couldn't be anywhere near where I am without FFS, but I also couldn't without making my own decisions so I'm disappointed that I didn't trust myself fully. Not everything people say is a fking dig at other people.
