After rolling out the first instalment of our two-part series of members’ articles covering the last four friendlies, we cast an eye over another batch of standout performers. The Belgium and France midfields come under analysis after some stellar recent displays, whilst we also assess a number of in-form forwards ahead of tonight’s opening match of Euro 2016.

Sommer-Patricio
Rodriguez-Hector-Dier-Rami-Dragovic
Hakan-Perisic-Alaba-Ozil-Memushaj
Lewa-Giroud-Morata
Thoughts?-
I don't think your mids weigh up for not having muller or ronaldo
-
How about this?
Sommer-Patricio
Rodriguez-Hector-Dier-Denayor-Dragovic
Hakan-Perisic-Mak-Draxler-Siggy
Lewa-Giroud-Kane
Thoughts?
-
-
-
So what have I missed? 🙂 Did we come up with any decent alternative differentials? 😀
-
Greaseman
-
Milik
-
De Rossi
-
Janko
-
-
Kozacik Patricio
Alba Juanfran Dier Rami X
Ozil Junuzovic Perisic Stanciu X
Giroud Muller X
a) Hector, Matuidi & Kane/Morata
b) Howedes, KDB & Nolito
c) Rodriguez/Hector, Gotze, Nolito-
A with Kane
-
A with morata
-
A with Morata.
-
C with Rodriguez

Lewandowski or Ronaldo?
If selecting Ronaldo, Milik looks like a good shout too?-
I had the same dilemma
Lewi 13 goals in quals v Nir
Ron 6 in 5 v ice
Lewi for me then bank .5 for the tx gw 2-
Good shout. I don't think Lewandowski will score again vs Germany, Boateng will be glued to him. However, Iceland have conceded a lot of goals in the qualifiers and friendlies
-
-
-
Hamsik or Perisic?
Slovakia have Wales first,
both teams will be going hard for the win and Croatias group is tough-
Perisic just. But I have both.
-
Think he'll deliver v the Turks?
-
-
I have Perisic and cover Slovak with Mak
-
Perisic
-
-
Got lost on last page.
Janko or Milik?-
Janko bcuz of group
-
Milik
-
Sadly Janko
-
-
-
A) Hector, Juanfran, Strinic
B) Howdes, Dier, Dragovic-
A

Dzemaili vs Forsberg, what do you think lads?
-
Dzeman is de man.
Stanciu is him x2. -

-
I think andre gomes:)
-
But dzemali out of those
-
Tnx lads

Wildcarding after first match day!
Patricio / Kozacik
Djourou / Rami / Howedes / Dragovich / Guerreiro
Mak / Matuidi / Stanciu / Ozil / Perisic
Lewandowski / Giroud / Ronaldo
Suggestions about this team ??-
Should be a strong start.. good luck 😀
-
Wouldn't go for stanciu vs france as a one week punt
-
-
Quick RMT?
Kozacik-Patricio
Hector-Juanfran-Rodriguez-Rami-Guerreiro
De Bruyne-Perisic-Ozil-Alaba-Junuzovic
Muller-Giroud-Nolito-
Good team but I wouldn't double up on Alaba and Junu as Austria play Portugal in GW 2 unless you are 100% sure that you will WC after GW 1
-
hmm, Matuidi or Fab could replace Alaba....
-
Matuidi imo
-
Or even Alli hmmm
-
-
-
-
-
Help me out with a quick Yes or No!
Am I ready to go?
Sommer Patricio
Denayer Chiriches Dragovic Juanfran Dier
De Bruyne Konoplyanka Perisic Stanciu Sigurdsson
Muller Giroud Milik-
Siggy -> Hamsik, Sommer -> Kozacik and Milik -> Morata/Kane and you're ready to go 😉
-
Is it fair to give personal preferences as advice ? . Siggy , Sommer and Milik are good picks and let's face it they could easily out score your picks . Just using this as an example .
-
The whole darned thing is personal preference 😛
My rationale:
No Grosicki for Poland and he's quite influential, from everything I've seen and read.
Siggy is a gem but that group is tough for Iceland.
Sommer is the better pick but downgrading him affords other improvements.-
I always wonder if I am leading people back towards a template that is ultimately doomed to failure .
-
-
What else is there to give?
-
you could leave it alone if it makes sense in the first place .
-
-
-
That leaves me with no one except Dragovic to captain on the final day if everything falls through, would you still advise those moves?
-
Oh, fair point. As you were 🙂
-
-
I like these changes. I don't particularly like Denayer & Chiriches though.
-
-
Yes
-
-
A) Dragovic, Alli, Payet
B) Guerreiro, Forsberg, KDB
C) Juanfran, Forsberg, Payet -
Had Rakitic since first draft but starting to think I'm on the wrong man?
Also got Long as third striker to sub in for any fails in my five man midfield but thinking Nolito might be the better man for the job?
Whenever I make a late change instead of sticking with my gut I get punished!-
I'd have Perisic and Nolito.
-
Despite the marvellous Long grav.
-
-
Perisic..goal threat is way too much to be ignored
-
Split the difference, Perisic and Long. I really fancy Ireland vs Sweden.
-
-
-
RMT. Please?
Sommer Patricio
Denayer Juanfran Dier Rami Strinic
De Bruyne Perisic Matuidi Fabregas Alaba
Muller Giroud Kane
Could swap Kane for Nolito and bring in Ozil -
When can we expect line ups for todays match?
Also what is with Morata? Seems he is too risky... maybe Kane/Milik instead? -
Greaseman or Giroud?
-
Giroud
-
Giroud and use what you save elsewhere
-
Giroud + 1.5
-
Griezmann for sure for me. More expensive but much more quality
-
-
On average my team has just over 8% ownership. Differential overall, quite standard on here
-
Glamour poll!
Strinic or Guerreiro - both are risks to start, both are 4.0.
Guerreiro is the more interesting pick with a higher points ceiling but can't be subbed if he doesn't play. Croatia play earlier on so I could deal with a blank but a CS is less likely, as is an attacking return.-
I have Guerreiro in my team. Worth the risk IMO. Even if he does not start , max I will lose 2 points. And if he does start , as you say , a much higher point ceiling. 🙂
-
G
-
Wait, are you not getting autosubs if players don't play?
-
I don't think so, if there's no one left to play.
-
-
-
I think I'm set with this team:
Sommer
Lichtsteiner Rose Kos
Payet Hamsik VolkanSen Hazard
Kane Cr7 Gru
RuiPatricio VolkanSen Strinic Motta-
Are there 2 Volkan Sens?
-
Gonul*
Should be on the bench-
Seen worse Ronaldo teams. Should score well.
-
-
-
Motta is a bad pick imo. He never scores
-
-
A. CR7 + Fabregas + Stanciu
or
B. Morata + Payet + Hamsik + 0.5-
B
-
A
-
-
Sommer - Patricio
Dier - Lichtsteiner - Rodriguez - Rami - Denayer
Perisic - Payet - Alli - Alaba - Sanches
Bale - Giroud - Lewandowski
Good to go?-
Sanches not likely to start . Denayer a risk as well.
-
Yeah thought so, just changed them for Guierrero and Wernbloom.
-
-
-
Final RMT please
Kozalčik/ Rui
Juanfran - Kosc - Schar - Dragovic - Guerrero
Ozil - Hamšik - Perišić - Payet - Junuzović
Giroud - Muller - Milik
Possible swap depending on starting lineups today Payet -> Matuidi; Milik -> Morata
Ready to go?-
I'd get Alaba over junuzovic
-
Where would you get 0.5...
-
-
Solid !
-
-
A) Alba, Rodriguez, 4.5 def
B) Lichsteiner, Alba, dragovic-
So it's just:
Rodriguez and 4.5
or
Lichsteiner and Dragovic
I'd have Schar and Dragovic 😛
-
-
Is Strinic and Denayer nailed?
-
Both are risks, Strinic more so.
-
-
Why is almost everyone here going with Stanciu?
I cant see Romania scoring more than 2 goals in this tournement?
(watch them beat Fra tonight 4-2 ;))-
Watch him play. He is a wonderful player.
-
Im not saying he is not good, just cant see him scoring any points
-
-
-
Punt, I've got a 500/1 e/w on him to get golden boot :s but I've taken him out my team for canoghlu...
-
-
Score predictions...
Spain vs Czech Republic
Italy vs Belg-
2-0
1-1 -
2-0
3-2 -
2-0 0-0
-
2-0

1-1 -
Anymore guesses? Trying to choose between KDB and D Silva. Thinking purely gameweek 1 for now
-
Cheers everyone
-
2-0
0-0
-
-
A) Koscielny, Juanfran, Kroos
B) Rami, Dier, Ozil
Rest of my defence is Schar, Hector and Strinic.-
B
-
-
Does Cedric have any competition at RB for Portugal? All I see among their defenders is CBs and LBs...
-
Vieirinha
-
Yes. Vieirinha. And it's pretty 50/50.
-
-
Hopefully the final team
Patricio Sommer
Hector Rami Pisczek Rodriguez Pepe
Dzemali Forsberg Mak Perisic Alaba
Ronaldo Muller Giroud -
A) Nolito, KDB, Hector, Koscielny
B) Mandzukic, KDB, Howedes, Rami
C) Ronaldo, Joao Mario, Howedes, Rami
For the first two weeks - thanks!-
C
-
B
-
A but Kosc -> Rami, which will give you 1M to spend elsewhere
-
