Monday’s final Euro 2016 tie sees Fifa’s second highest ranked side Belgium square up to 2012 Euros finalist Italy.

Both sides come into the match in confident mood having topped their qualifying groups and ending their pre-tournament friendly preparations unbeaten. While Belgium defeated Norway 3-2 and drew 1-1 with Finland, Italy recorded wins against Scotland and Finland.

Marc Wilmots’ team are set to rely heavily on Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, who created more chances than any other player during qualification. Along with Chelsea’s Eden Hazard he was also the Red Devils’ top scorer in qualifying with five goals.

Antonio Conte’s Italy were one of only four sides, alongside England, Austria and Romania, to be undefeated in qualifying. They did this despite not having a regular goal scorer, with Southampton striker Graziano Pelle the Azzuri’s top scorer in qualifying with just three goals.

So tommorow night we get our first transfer , who are the wants
Payet , in form and at home to Albania looks the obvious one for non owners
I thought Alli looked a threat at 6.5 in the hole
    Who else

Perisic and Payet were the best players (in terms of fantasy points potential) so far this tournament. Must haves imo. Doing Gotze --> Payet with my FT

Doesn't matter, looked like a 15 year old who could play with the big guys for once. Won't be surprised at all to see Schürrle or Gomez starting. What an awful performance he had. Never rated him much as a player so might be a bit biased as well 😀

Need payer I think but need to take a hit to get him in. Which option?
A: rami to strinic and matuidi to payet

    Or

B: howedes to strinic and matuidi to payet

    Or

C: forget payet and just do matuidi to Kroos

D: kdb to payet only and bank the 2 mill change

My other mids are hamsik, perisic and stanciu. Feel that Hami and Persi are due so want to hold onto them.

Get rid of Howedes. Was at the stadium last night and got a food long look at him. The only potential he has is clean sheet points.

Strinic was good from what I saw, and Croatia were solid. Safe 4.0 option.

I dont think we will keep a clean sheet against Poland. our defence was shaky at best. Plus you can always get a german def back in on your wildcard before gw3.

    Captain tomorrow:
    A) Alaba
    B) Rui Patricio

without bonus points defenders/gk seem to be better picks. Alaba would have to pick up more than an assist to match potential CS. Tempted to go Rui.

If you stick with auto subs yes he will.

Use managers subs and leave the players playing later in the matchday until the deadline of the day they play. If you started Ronaldo in your 11 potentially you'll stop a benched player from getting points.

        36. It wasn't looking promising going into the extraction as they could only see 4 folicles and each folicle contains a maximum of 1 egg often less. Then while doing it it they only counted 2 and sounded very down beat. After they had looked through all of the received fluid they found 7. So that was more than we thought was possible. Nice result.

Now we just need to hope they progress properly

Yes. We were trying to have a second and things went a bit wrong. Mrs Cheese's tubes had to be removed so she can still produce the eggs but they have no way of getting to the oven naturally. But there is nothing a bit of a helping hand cannot fix.

Unfortunately we have to finance the effort ourselves though and it isn't cheap

Don't mind at all. I wouldn't mention it at all if it was a touchy subject.

Somehow I am not finding it stressful. I know I should be but somehow I do not.

Hopefully that communicates to Mrs Cheese as lack of stress can only help.

It does mean a lot of journeys to the city to get to the hospital though and getting time off of work is tough

I tend to b good in a crisis. Historically I have dealt with a lot and my job can be pretty stressful at times but I try to just float through it all generally.

Although the actual incident when Mrs Cheese went into hospital and they operated had me in pieces at the time.

                        Mine can be too.

It's weird because the stress or being busy or up against brings out the best in me although I can't say I'm exactly calm lol

Hopefully this is a step in the right direction now and the original op will be a distant memory if ivf works out and you both conceive.

So I have a good score in 81 points. I am sure I will be pretty high OR. I had Giaccherini captain today which is great.

And I have Dragovic and Ronnie playing tomorrow which is probably OK compared to many.

I would reckon there will be a lot of Ronnie captains tomorrow. Anyone who's captains have failed so far and have the option will put it there so if he does OK we will mostly see a rank drop.

I know I have a great captain already but Ronnie is tempting me.

    1. Jay_
      10 years, 1 month ago

Wow, what a score! Would defo stick mate, well done, what a start. Just be glad you've got Ronaldo, he wasn't popular on here at all. You don't need to switch.

Thanks. It was a fairly easy decison tbh. Alli got naff all to lose and I only had him and uanfran playing today. I knew I would not stick on a clean sheet so I didn't see much point in captaining Juanfran.

Giaccherini had a better chance of a goal so I went for him and it worked

To be fair watching the Spain match Juafran seemed to be playing RW with Alba, Pique and Ramos at the back. He was getting lots of balls in the box but Morata was wasteful.

I agree. At times Giaccherini was almost centre forward in the first half today. I was getting very excited he could easily have got more.

I think he is a player you need to own playing like that

      1. C example: If one C Payet against Romania, when can i C again someone else and still keep C Payet 20 pts?

      2. Subs example: as of when can i bench Payet and still keep his 10 pts against Romania? is it next matchday or when

        1. If you C Payet and change captain he goes back to his 10 point base score. Your new captain will get their point doubled instead. You cannot go back.

        2. No the player has to be in your starting xi at the end of the gameweek to get his points. You cannot sub them out and then sub them back either

i imagine asof the end of Group Stage MD1 rd of games

If you had to pick a team specifically for gw2, who would be the first players on your team sheet?

I reckon a French defender, Payet, Giroud against Albania then Ozil, Kono, Perisic in midfield who all look like they can score points and are against reasonably good opposition. If Stanciu can do what he did against France Id also fancy him against the Swiss. Kdb would've been there this morning.

In defense; Schar, Juanfran Dier and Giaccerini are who I can think of.

No one has stood out in attack, other than Giroud whos alerady in everyones team

They don't really do it here. I get the concept it seems to be a mix of salty & chilli chicken, veg, chips in one thing. I prefer to get a curry with rice and a salt & chilli chicken with chips and combine the two. Curry gives it necessary wetness.

Nothing beats a noon pint of stout when you've only opened your eyes at 11am.

        I asked for it.

        Is it unusual?

The best month of my life too.

Finally made herself Mrs. Hibbert and went on honeymoon.

Back to porridge tomorrow though it's not so bad I feel great and the Euros is on plus the summer is coming.

Hotel was called Excellence Playa Mujeres. Not far from Cancun Airport in Mexico. Tbh it was heaven it was all inclusive but there were about 9 restaurants a la carte ordering from menu rather than buffet. I wish I was still there.

Although one place was buffet breakfast and lunch. Which were really good.

I'll be honest cheese I forgot to get one.

I spent the remaining dollars at the airport on perfume for Mrs.Hibbert and Don Julio tequila and cigarettes for me.
