With just eight teams remaining in the Euro 2016 tournament, we bring you news of a DraftKings offer that’s exclusive to readers of Fantasy Football Scout.

If you’ve yet to register with DraftKings, they’re offering the opportunity of free entry to an upcoming contest for the quarter-finals, which get underway on Thursday, June 30.

Providing you sign up via this link before 4pm on Thursday, your account will be credited with $3 by 6pm that day.

Players should then use the credit amount to enter the “EUROS $13k Striker” contest on Thursday.

This contest starts at 8pm Thursday and takes in the Thursday and Friday fixtures of the quarter-finals, which incorporates both Poland’s encounter against Portugal and Wales’ clash with Belgium the following day.

If you’re new to DraftKings, we published a selection guide earlier this summer which should help in assembling your eight-man squads for the upcoming competition.

We’ll also be rolling out our player picks for the Thursday contest tomorrow afternoon to offer further assistance.

    Hiya..think I'm going to bank on France progressing and keep Rami for the SFs so I can make an offensive sub instead of a defensive one. I have 3 players not going through: DDG, Dier, Perisic and tempted to move them plus Ramsey to Patricio/Fabianski, Guerreiro, KDB, Draxler

              My line of thinking is: get the keeper from the team which you think will progress to the final, as it saves future transfers.
              I think Germany will win vs Italy.

    I have just done my potential wild card team and compared it to my 4 free transfers team. My 4 captain choices are the same, and there are only 3 different players in total.

    The WC team is better though, but more unbalanced in that if Belgium or France lose I'll have a lot more players not in the next round!

    So my thoughts are to keep my WC for the semi-finals.

    But my original team was planned with a GD3 WC in mind. As rotation wasn't as much of a problem as everyone thought, I got through it, and saved my WC for this week. Now I'm considering not playing it again.

    I'm worried that I might go through the whole tournament without playing it, and I feel like that would be a waste. But I don't want to play it for the sake of it as my team is good.

    Is anyone else in the same situation? We should get a 20 point bonus if you don't play your WC!

          Witsel and Nainggolan seem to be all at sea regarding their respective roles when defending; Ramsey and Bale will go to town on them if that huge gap between midfield and defense isn't effectively shut down. Hungary were gash but still got several chances precisely by playing the ball in to the void in front of the defensive line.

          Dembele would be an obvious solution to this problem.

          What would make you think that? He's perfectly happy in a successful team and Juve have no reason to sell whatsoever. I'll be very surprised if Pogba isn't still playing for us next season. They're building a project to win the Champions League and Pogba is integral to it.

              Marchisio might not play again until 2017, Khedira is injury prone, Padoin has left, and Pereyra/Asamoah/Sturaro could leave too.

              Pjanic was signed to strengthen the squad though, not necessarily replace someone. We've had great success with the 3-5-2 but Allegri wants a player who can allow us to play 4-3-1-2 as well (the system that got us to the CL final two years ago). Pjanic is that guy.
